Standard Vue cinema. Doesn't seem to get the big titles as soon or for as long as other Vue cinemas. Has pool tables and a bar. Ben and Jerry's on site. Provides a much needed cinema in the Highlands. read more

Inverness' only cinema (not counting the one in Eden Court but that mostly shows arty films). It was rammed into by a car a few months ago and as a result they have moved the reception area to the food court which is a bit confusing. You have to wait to pay for your tickets with all the people buying hot dogs and popcorn which can mean a long wait. The cinema itself it however clean and tidy. The toilets are also excellent, always clean and lots of them. Don't forget Orange Wednesdays when you get to go two for one. read more

Great Cinema situated in the retail park. This is quite a large cinema. It has over 10 screens. It always has all the latest movies on show. With The ticket price is a little expensive. But then again it is the going rate for cinema tickets. However they do have a reduced rate for late viewings. There is always a varied ammount of screenings. It is always clean and maintained to a very high standard. The prices of confectionary are reasonable as well. They also offer rates for students as well. I would recommend paying the cinema a visit every now and again. As it provides a decent night out as long as there is something on that you want to see. Its pretty central for parents also, when they are out with the children shopping they can nip in and watch a movie with them to keep them happy. Right next to burger king, so i'm pretty sure most customers in burger king will get enticed into the vue cinema to settle there meal and enjoy a good eye popping film. read more

A pretty good smallish multiscreen cinema on the main road. has what you need. A bit outside town so you need to drive there.

Great wee cinema at the retail park in Inverness. It shows most of the new releases however it is small. It has approximately 8-10 screens and when it does show popular films they don't often run as long as they would in larger cinemas of it's type. The cinema sells the usual fizzy drinks, popcorn and ice cream you would expect and has a small games arcade for those waiting for a film to start. Good cinema, the place is usually clean and prices are what is to be expected. read more

This is the second time in a month at this cinema, and on the 14th April 2016 I had assumed that the strong urine smell that filled the whole ticketing/lobby area, would have gone, I was wrong. We paid over £30 for basic tickets and some snacks, and went into the film. Half way through the film I went to the loo. Before getting anywhere near the loos, I was hit by the same smell that haunted the whole front part of the cinema last time, this time it wasnt so bad everywhere, but 10 Metre of less from the loos it was there, and it wasnt going away. I went in, toilets dirty and smelled of urine. On the way out I spotted what looked like a manager, and thought it was the best time to go discuss this problem, that shouldn't be there when one pays the sort of premium cash required to access films in this cinema and eat their snacks that can be had for 1/4 of the price in many places. I waited near the manager as he was with a "maintenance man" looking person. He looked over at me and gestured for me to discuss what I was looking to. I asked him why there was a smell of urine near the toilet area, he said there wasn't. I said that there was, and he went over near the toilet doors, sniffed, came back over and said no, he couldn't smell anything. The maintenance man then went over, sniffed, came back over and said that there was no smell. A teenager was standing outside the toilets, I asked over to him if he could smell anything over there, he said Yes, I asked him if it smelled of urine, and he said Yes, a confirmation! The "maintenance man" who was standing with the manager then said "what are you talking to me for, I dont work here", I said that the manager had referred me to him, as he was maintaining the loos, he was aggressive, he then went on to say that he didn't work for the cinema. I advised him to stop being aggressive, which he was being. The manager advised that the maintenance man had been working in the toilets before, I then asked "why, i thought you said that there was no problem", and he advised that there was no problem. The manager did not say or do anything else, this was clearly the scale of his leadership and management skills. I walked away back into the cinema, realising that this was an ongoing problem, and that the staff and maintenance contractor were told by someone to deny that the place stinks of urine. This is an expensive cinema, the manager is clearly in no way capable of admitting when things are not right, and is in no way capable of reassuring customers who are concerned about hygiene issues. Next time I will visit an independent cinema, that was not a positive experience, and any negatives were not righted by that manager. read more

If you want to watch the latest blockbuster, then Vue is pretty much your only choice. The advantage of such a monopoly is you pay for it. A recent trip with a 15yr old to watch a film cost me £23 for two tickets, a hot dog, small juice and a handful of sweets. Staff can be pretty indifferent, but that's no particular criticism of Vue. The usual plague of loud-mouthed teens who love phoning each other and generally prefer the sound of their own voice to that on screen is prevalent here, and the management aren't inclined to do anything about it. You might get lucky if you can pick and choose with your viewing times however. If you can wait, chances are the film will turn up at Eden Court instead and you'll have a far more enjoyable, comfortable experience there, but sadly EC doesn't get all the blockbusters so for the avid filmgoer Vue can sometimes be your only choice. Not the worst cinema, but as its your only choice you might as well get used to it.. read more

Not bad, if going to a big film I suggest booking seats as it is very small and the seating is poor, very expensive, get drinks and food from Tesco before u go in, the bar is poorly staffed and they persist in letting 12 year olds into over 15 showings read more

This cinema is not at this address used the map which took us to a housing estate. Then by the time we got the correct address, and found cinema had missed the film. Not happy!!!! read more

Good films on.

My wife and I went here on a Sunday afternoon when we were up visiting relatives in Inverness and the service was appalling!! We went inside and bought our own tickets from the machines inside then we went to use the bathrooms, which were disgusting! There was only one roll of toilet paper in the whole bathroom which was sitting on the sink and the soap dispenser was basically hanging off the wall. When we came back we went to buy some snacks and were standing at the food counter for about 10mins while a very grumpy girl basically ignored us. She seen us standing there and I caught her eye a couple of time but she just turned her back and actually left the food area to go speak to the woman in the ticket booth outside. She then returned after several minutes and again stood with her back to us and ignored us. Eventually my wife asked her if she was serving food and she muttered something under her breath and walked over to the till at the other end of the counter. She just stood there looking at us and we just ordered the food and then she didn't even have the manners to ask for the money, just sighed and looked at the till!! She didn't even so much as look at us never mind thank us as we paid. She did not have a name badge to identify her and make a proper complaint to the manager so we just went to see our film and then left. read more

we went along to see theory of every thing, the girl on reception was most helpful! She asked if we would like the comfy chairs for a small fee, we did and off we went to have dinner at Pizza Hut next door. When we returned over an hour later for the film we had lost our tickets! She was most helpful and asked us to have a seat till every one had taken their seats. Then she came and got us and showed us to the booked seats that were empty. can't ask for more than that, thanks so much Morven. read more
