I was referred to Brian Miller of 2B Unique by my landlord who is a friend so I did not really take…read morethe time to check out Brian's review's or feedback which was a huge mistake. If I would have read Lorin O's review which sounds like the exact same thing that happened to me, I would have NEVER worked with Brian Miller or 2B Unique. He is truly the most unprofessional and unethical business person I have ever dealt with, promising and never delivering despite being paid $3,000 which was 75% of the total cost of the website. I started working with Brian Miller over a year ago and paid him $3,000 as a deposit to work on my site (Total cost was to be $4000). Brian sent me a contract to sign with a huge list of items that he was promising to deliver. Now over 14 months later, I have a half finished website filled with errors and unfinished work. The list of errors and mistakes are too long to list here but the major item which is still missing is the "fully customized web-store and shopping cart" that he promised to deliver. Brian stated that I had to sign up with a merchant service provider account ASAP as my customized web-store and shopping cart was finished. I signed up on April 22, 2013 and was being charged a monthly fee by Elavon Network who was to process my online sales but because Brian NEVER delivered a web-store or shopping cart, I was paying these monthly fees for no reason. After waiting 5 months after getting this merchant service provider account and receiving no customized online web-store or shopping cart as promised per the original contract, I contacted my lawyer. Brian kept telling my lawyer that he was going to finish the site and fix all of the mistakes but as of today August 16, 2013 the mistakes are still not fixed nor is there a web-store or shopping cart to speak of. To add insult to injury, Brian then sends me an invoice charging me for items that I asked him to fix (because of 2B Unique's employee's mistakes) claiming that I was making "changes" to the website when in reality, I was merely asking him to correct items that he didn't do correctly the first time! I am now taking him to small claims court so I cannot divulge too much information here except to say that I would never recommend him to anyone. Please message me privately if you would like more information on his business practices. If I could give him zero stars, I would.

Unfortunately, as a small business owner, this created a real hardship for me. I tried very patiently and over a long period of time to resolve this matter, received many assurances that it would be resolved, and yet am still out several thousand dollars. At one point, Brian even threatened to damage my company's credibility if I continued to try to make people aware of my bad dealings--via Better Business, etc. I'm hardly threatened by such things, but that also speaks to a dismal lack of professionalism. I don't know who has written the five-star reviews of this company, but I'm glad that someone at least has not had the absolutely disappointing experience I have had. Guess I just picked the really short straw. ============= UPDATE PER BRIAN'S RESPONSE. Please note: My first complaint about this business was posted well over a year ago to Better Business online. I also have literally *dozens* of emails to support my side of things (not just from Brian but from another employee in his company as well as a sub-contractor hired to do the work). I also have a case on record with the New York State's Attorney's Internet Complaint Division. And lastly, though Brian claims to have delivered a website, no such website exists. Again, this is very easily proven. I'm not going to stoop to name-calling, nor do I wish to keep inviting further harassment from someone who has already disappointed me professionally. I will just leave off with the above and hope the truth is evident.

**More Than 10 Years of Loyalty--and This Is How Bolt On Technology and MyShopManager Treat a…read moreCustomer** I rarely write a review like this, but after more than a decade as a Bolt On Technology customer, I believe other automotive shop owners need to understand what our experience has become. Town Center Automotive used Bolt On Technology for approximately 10 years. We did not purchase one small product and leave after a short trial. We invested heavily in the platform and used virtually everything they offered: their vehicle check-in system, digital vehicle inspections, customer text messaging, reputation management, and other tools that became part of our daily operations. For many years, there were genuinely good things about the company. The products helped our shop, and the customer service used to be excellent. When we had trouble with digital inspections, software, or something as simple as printing an oil-change sticker, someone would be there to help us. That level of support was one of the reasons we remained loyal. Unfortunately, the company we originally chose no longer seems to be the company we are dealing with today. In my opinion, Bolt On Technology grew too quickly, became increasingly rigid, and lost sight of the independent automotive shops that helped build its business. The decline became particularly noticeable over the past several years and after MyShopManager became part of Bolt On. Our pricing approximately doubled, but we stayed because we liked the platform and had invested years in incorporating it into our business. We continued paying even though the value and service no longer seemed consistent with the increased price. The breaking point came when Town Center Automotive expanded into a second building. The buildings were only about 500 feet apart and were part of the same automotive business, but they required different internet connections and IP addresses. We asked Bolt On whether its system could accommodate the two IP addresses. Instead of helping us develop a reasonable solution for our growing operation, we felt as though we were being treated with suspicion--as if we were attempting to operate two separate shops while paying for only one. We were not trying to cheat the company or avoid paying for legitimate services. We were a long-term customer whose business had expanded into two nearby buildings. We needed technology that could support our growth rather than stand in its way. We eventually found Tekmetric, which resolved the operational problems that Bolt On would not. When we began canceling our Bolt On services, we were told that we had annual contracts and would remain responsible for the payments. Although we were frustrated, we dealt with those obligations. The final problem involved MyShopManager. We canceled MyShopManager in early 2026 and later repeated our cancellation while transitioning to a different CRM. We were then told that the cancellation was received only a few days outside the required window and that the agreement had automatically renewed for another year. To be clear, we did not make a new decision to continue using MyShopManager for another year. We were actively moving away from the platform. The email record supports that this was not simply an after-the-fact claim. On May 7, 2026, our representative at Turnkey Marketing contacted Bolt On support regarding Town Center Automotive's transition to a new CRM and requested that Bolt On begin transferring our outbound texting number and customer list. On August 6, I again put in writing that we had canceled earlier in the year, were still being charged, and wanted the matter resolved and the inappropriate charges refunded. Despite our long history, our clear intent to leave, and our active transition to another system, MyShopManager and Bolt On have refused to provide a reasonable resolution. From our perspective, they are prioritizing a few hundred dollars in recurring charges over a relationship with a customer who supported their company for approximately a decade. What makes this even more disappointing is how difficult it has been to speak with someone who has the authority to solve the problem. I attempted to call and ask for a supervisor, only to be told that supervisors were too busy. A company was apparently willing to continue billing us under a disputed automatic renewal, but its leadership was too busy to speak with a long-standing customer about the dispute. That speaks volumes. The deterioration in customer service goes beyond this billing issue. In the past, if our DVI system was not working or we could not print oil-change stickers, Bolt On would respond and help. Now, it often feels as though the only option is to submit an email and wait. The personal service that earned our loyalty has largely disappeared.

When I told him I was in a hurry, he managed to receive the part, diagnose, replace and clean my keyboard all within the same day and dropped it off the next. He also wears a mask. safety first. Thank you Kenth for all your help. I would not hesitate to reach out to him if I ever need repair services again. Very trustworthy.

I was a bit nervous since they didn't have a lot of reviews here- but I did some cross-referencing and all seemed legit. While they were located 45 min away, they came to my home to pick up the laptop. I got a clear confirmation of pick-up and awaited results of the diagnostic tests. They told me that I not only needed a new display screen, but a new battery as well (as the old one was in bad shape and could have possibly leaked/exploded- and sent me pics as proof as well.) Before asking for my repair commitment, they gave me price options for comparable refurbished laptops as well. They were also realistic about increased lifespan of the laptop. I ended up authorizing the repair. They ordered the parts and told me that they would only charge me for the cost of the parts (no surcharge) and the repair fee. While I was given a June 17 arrival date for the parts, they arrived on the 11th, and they were able to repair it and drop it off by June 12th-5 days ahead of schedule. While I hope to keep my laptop safe from harm, I would not hesitate to contact them again for future repair work- on my personal laptop or other devices as well.
