Really bad experience with color. I would not recommend this salon for color. I am a blonde and asked for light bright highlights around my face and where my pony tail shows hair on the sides with a shadow root. The highlights were poorly done, not light snd bright and because my hair is thick some are not even visible! 2 shampoos later and I am upset because I am going on vacation next week and came in specially to get bright highlights put in. They also did corrective color on reddish color that was put on by a previous salon. The red still came thru after a few washes. Looking for a better salon in another area. The only good thing I can say is my haircut was okay and they took off charges for the horrible mess they made out of my hair. read more

If you love your hair color and especially if you have already transitioned to grey, stay away from this salon. The colorist at this salon ignored my clear instruction to put no color on my grey (I have been white silver grey since 2017) - just to tone out any brassiness with purple toner -- and eradicated my white silver grey with warm golden blond permanent color. Such ageist and disrespectful, unconsented to action has left me facing a two to three year ugly grow out of my hair -- the hair version of going through menopause a second time. I used to have sophisticated and age-appropriate style. Now I look like a pitiful old lady desperately seeking to look 30 years of age. Not the look this Administrative Law Judge who derived much professional bolstering from her rocking grey hair was going for. Service: Hairstyling I am from out of state and chose this salon because it had high reviews on Google. I booked my appointment at the Newnan location 3 months before my event. The salon called a week before my event and moved me to the Peachtree City location. I was not pleased, but whatever. The attached photos are what I asked for (the blonde), what I got, and what i ended up doing to my own hair after going and buying a new curling iron, hairspray, bobby pins etc. I've no doubt that there are stylists at this salon that are probably very talented individuals. The young lady I got, clearly may need to consider other career options. My appointment was at 10am and I was leaving by 10:23am. 23 minutes for an updo!? She didn't use a curling iron, rollers or anything. Literally put my hair in a very messy bun (not the sleek style in the photo) and sent me on my way. I attempted to make suggestions about my hair as she was styling it, but she didn't take any of my advice. The overall experience wasn't great. SPA Facial: I was looking for a "full-on overhaul" after an extended time of meds and illness. I was fortunate to get an appointment with Hazel, a new esthetician. She listened, asked questions, and then rather than do what I thought I wanted, she steered me away due to rosacea and recent antibiotics. No peel, no waxing - but an amazing, layered facial, alternating hot and cold to protect skin. I left there with a new cleansing regimen which a week later, has increased the look and feel of my skin. I was very pleased, Hazel was knowledgeable, kind, personable, and had the wisdom and skills to do what was right for my skin. You will want to go back - I sure am! read more

I always get nice results from my haircut here, and the staff are very kind and patient. But they seem to be unable to run on time. I've had my hair cut here a handful of times and every time I've had to wait more than 15 minutes past my appointment. Doesn't matter if it's a morning, afternoon, or evening appointment, different stylists... I always have to wait. I then get nervous because I know someone's coming in after me and they'll try to rush my haircut. Today I waited half an hour before they finally told me the stylist hadn't even begun cutting the previous client's hair. They offered a discount and reschedule, but I had already driven all the way here and wasted 30 minutes. It's disappointing, because everything else about the salon is so nice and they do such a great job cutting my hair. Just be prepared to wait and be flexible on your "scheduled appointment". Update June 2017: updating as I've continued to visit this salon. Truly the best on offer in Newnan. The appointments have become a lot more timely and the service is impeccable. Don't know what they did to change it around, but it is awesome. read more

This place is nothing more than an overpriced Super cuts. They claim everyone is a "Master Stylist". (that just means they over charge you) from what I understand not true. I spent a lot of money on a perm only to have it to fall out less than two months later....They don't even know their clients they schedule appts than call and cancel them. The management and General Manager are CLUELESS as to what's going on in the salon...... Super Cuts is a corporate company same as Aveda don't waste you time or money if you want that touch of class go somewhere else. Let me begin by saying my stylist, Sylvia, did an outstanding job on my cut and color. Despite this, I would not even recommend this salon because of unprofessional employees like Megan. She was next to my stylist and while I was waiting on my color to set I closed my eyes to relax. At this point, Megan began to gossip about me to other employees and customers! I love the relaxed ambience inside the salon and the fruit infused water for clients is always very refreshing. I used Leslie before and wasn't impressed. She's not a perfectionist and seemed rushed the two times I used her. I had overall color done by her and there were areas she missed. Guess she just wasn't the right stylist for me but Justin at aveda was! He's the perfectionist I was looking for. I'll watch his technique and attention to detail. This guy could make it at any big name salon. Hes very helpful with educating me on hair care and one time even drew out a diagram of my hair and wrote down the steps for the style he does on me (which I love) The only downfall with aveda is the price but as long as you can afford the maintenance cuts and color touch ups than this is the place! read more

If someone moves out of the area after being a long time client and you can't provide a color # used on my hair so I know what was being used on my hair in an effort to continue it .... that's your own damn insecurity and unprofessionalism that you shouldn't be passing to your clients!!!! It should be a compliment that the Aveda color used was liked well enough to continue it; however W Daly isn't the only salon that uses their products.... and a color match shouldn't be "hush hush" with your receptionist stating it isn't your "policy" to give out that information. I would NOT recommend getting your haircut by Megan. Megan does not understand curly hair and had a flippant attitude when I told her I was worried that it was being cut too short. I walked in with hair to the center of my back explaining that I wanted it cut to my shoulder blades and I walked out sobbing with hair above my shoulders. Megan did not apologize and did not offer any advice on how to style it. Megan needs to work on her listening skills and further instruction on how to cut curly hair. I absolutely love Leslie. She listens to what you want and works with you to get the look you want. The products are always wonderful. The only issue I have is the price. Leslie is now the highest level stylist that Aveda has, and her prices show it. My last haircut was around $75, and it was just a wash, cut, dry, and style. I haven't looked for anyone else because I love her so much, but it also means I haven't had a haircut since August. read more

I've been going to W. Daly Salon Spa for about a few months now, and overall I have had a wonderful experience! That is, at the Peachtree City location. Here, however, I couldn't have made a worse decision by choosing Savannah Brooks as my esthetician. I'm writing this directly after my treatment as my face burns and feels so incredibly raw, and I can tell that I will most likely break out horribly for my prom dance. She rushed the process incredibly, and honestly, it felt like I was getting a leg wax on my face. My skin is very sensitive, at least comparatively to my legs or arms. I did try to convey that to her. It didn't appear to matter, apparently. The job was messy, and I will now have to do something when I get home to cool some of the redness, because there was nothing done for that. Nor was there powder applied in order for the hairs to stick more easily. My face is splotchy red, and my acne scars, which normally reduce after a wax, feel darker. DO NOT go to the Newnan location for a face wax. read more

Went in and asked for balayage, also had pictures with me. I assumed my stylist knew what that meant (because she acted like she did and didn't ask any questions about what I wanted). Ended up with Christina Aguilera circa 2002 streaky highlights from root to tip.. so basically the opposite of what I asked for. Also didn't get my hair cut, which I made the appointment for, because evidently someone wrote down my appointment information wrong. They just told me to come back again next week, which I don't exactly have time for, and is a pretty huge inconvenience. $200 for just highlights that weren't even done well is completely ridiculous, especially considering they expected me to come back AGAIN and spend more money on a cut because of a mistake on their part. Definitely won't be coming back here for my haircut, or ever again. If you aren't sure what a customer means by balayage, ASK. read more

As a full time career woman and mother, I covet the rare chance when I get to treat myself to a salon visit (twice a year). I had been to Aveda several times in the past and had always been happy with my results but this past weekend I left angry and cried the entire way home. I don't believe the request of coloring my hair the same as it was (baylage with brown/blonde) was too much of a difficult task. I left the salon with brass red roots and strawberry blonde ends. Not at all like the picture I produced to the person who did my color. It was also disappointing that I also didn't receive the neck/shoulder massage that I was told was part of my experience when I checked in. After leaving the salon, I called back to see if I could speak with someone about fixing my damaged hair, only to be put on hold for 15+ minutes. As someone who also works in the service industry, the entire experience was unacceptable and I will not be returning. Save your hair and go elsewhere! read more

They received one star because when I took my fiance in on Valentines Day weekend they were the rudest people in the newnan location that I have ever met. We were told that because we were not previous customers that we could only receive a 1/2 hour massage not a one hour massage. This was after I already paid for my fiance to have the 1/2 hour massage as part of her valentines day gift. Little did they know but I actually used to buy all of my secretary's gift cards to this spa for the holidays which I will never do again. I even went as far as to contact the spa by email and never received a response which leads me to believe that they truly do not care and since they do not seem to care everyone should be aware of that before spending their hard earned money at this spa. read more
