Then we bought a beer to go for the bus ride over to Bold Republic in Belton where we got another flight of 4 beers of our choosing. Final stop was at Fire Base Brewing where we got a set flight of 4 beers. I was slightly disappointed in the set flight just because I knew right away I wasn't going to like 2 of the beers (because I never like those kinds). Bold Republic and Fire Base both brought the tour back to the tanks for an optional info session and photo opportunities while learning a ton about how each brewery started and how they make their beers. The staff was super friendly and fun! They made sure we stayed on time without being pushy. The final stop is fairly close to the beginning location, so you can always just tell the staff you're going to stay/walk back if you didn't want to wait. Bus was clean and the tables in the back were great for conversations with other guests. Overall, would I do it again? Definitely!

I spent about 10 mins trying all the different things our tour guide asked me to practice. I pickled it up very easily. Everyone did so as well. Anyone can ride segways. I wish we had more segways all over the country. Tour started off in the downtown Fort Worth area. We stopped at many historic destinations along the way. Tour guide was very funny and very knowledgeable. My favorite part was by the riverside. Absolutely gorgeous weather to ride Segways and made our trip even more memorable with lots of great pics. Our tour guide took some incredible pics of us. Highly recommend this experience if you're trying to do something cool and fun.

I didn't realize that the #Magnolia properties are closed on Sunday, so I found other fun ways to get the Waco hospitality from the moment I arrived. I was actually glad that I got to see the town for what it is a few days before people traveled there from all over for #Silobration. I look forward to returning to Waco for a longer visit! I booked this tour through the Viator website and the tour group was really responsive from the beginning. I was actually concerned that my bus arriving to town might cause the tour to be delayed if they waited for me, but they were so kind with accommodating my schedule. It all worked out as it should timewise. I really enjoyed learning about Waco from Shannon and Don's perspective. First of all they are super friendly and welcoming and make you feel like neighbors! They shared stories of individuals from this small town who had done great things. They talked about big natural disasters that the town overcame! They showed us the natural beauty of the area around the zoo, and the rivers around town. I loved the college town feel too that made me long to go back to those college days. I also got to see several of my favorite fixer upper homes as we drove through town - many of which are now airbnbs! I don't want to spoil all that they shared, but I highly recommend their tour and will definitely return to do their river sunset tour. I also really appreciated that since they knew I was on foot and trying to get to the Dr Pepper Museum before they closed in less than an hour, they offered to drop me off there, which is not the normal ending point for the tour.

He let us have alone time, giving us the right amount or privacy, but was always engaging and positive when we wanted to include him in girl time. The driver, Danielle was awesome giving us suggestions of drinks at each bar. Aron (super nice and friendly) was our host/guide keeping us entertained and on schedules! Perk: Danielle stayed with the bike keeping an eye on drinks/water when we went into bars. FYI-No actual peddling was needed-. Highly recommended this for fun.

The place was clean and just the right size for my wife and I. Being city folks you forget how dark it is out in the country at nights. It was nice. We signed up for these adventures to make the weekend even more fun: 1. Feed baby kangaroo(Bodhi). This was about a 30 minute session where we got to feed him a bottle and kibble. It really was an amazing experience. 2. Bucket of food and self guided feeding of animals. We walked the property and hid to feed so many animals. All of the animals were friendly toward people. They were all very good motivated. We encountered a giraffe, donkeys, zebras, horses, cows, pigs, dwarf steers, camels, emu, deer, buffalo and more. The animals were often trying to bully their way to the front of the line. The cow Oreo who has not skipped a meal was always front of the line. 3. Afternoon safari ride in ATV. This was a fun ride around the property. Did not see any new animals but had a great time. The cows out at pasture were thrilled to be fed. 4. Giraffe encounter and meal. This was a little expensive but I would spend it again. The giraffes were super friendly and personable. We wanted to take them home because they were so much fun. The guide, experience and never felt rushed made this worth it. Our guide was top notch. I think her name was Jackie but could be wrong.
