We did the Waco room which is what was recommended for our first time and it was so fun! We wanted to finish so bad and we almost did but just missed by a couple minutes but it didn't even matter. I went to Waco Escape Rooms with a friend on a week night. There weren't many people there that night, but there is a spacious and comfortable waiting area for busier times. We had planned to have a group so had signed up in advance through the Waco Escape Rooms website for Code Breaker. Since we ended up with only two the host was very accommodating and let us change our reservation to Dinner for Two. The host did a wonderful job explaining how the different locks and the doorknob worked and getting is ready for the room. We had a great time working our way through the room and made it out with nearly 14 minutes to spare! The room was certainly challenging but also super fun! I cannot recommend Waco Escape Rooms enough. It's a great place to have fun with friends or to have a date night that's something different than the usual. I will definitely be back to try the other rooms! read more

This was my first time doing an escape room, and my first impression of the place was wow it feels clean in here. there is a very spacious lobby (perfect for before and after pictures). I went with four of my friends on a Tuesday afternoon, which meant there was no crowding. We literally only saw one other person: our host, who was very accommodating. We decided to do the "Code Breaker" room, which proved to be challenging but invigorating. I do not recommend doing an escape room with people who give up easily or scream a lot. Just don't do it. Luckily, I went with a level-headed group and even though we didn't escape, we certainly enjoyed ourselves. read more

This was the fourth time to do the escape room. We've done three different rooms. Each time it was very disorganized and and very hard to read clues or locks. Materials/clues definitely need to be updated. They have lots of ware. So clues are very random and it's hard to understand the connection to them. read more

I enjoyed doing the Dinner for 2 room! The room was well done with a good price. Sadly, I didn't make it out of the room...maybe because there's more pressure with just 2 people or maybe we were having an off day. First escape room that we have not escaped from! These escape rooms are fantastic! My husband and I (unfortunately) did not escape, but we were told we were close and the host explained to us what we had missed at the end. Make sure to keep records of information using whatever tool allowed! read more

Awesome experience! The Mastaba room was quite challenging and kept us thinking. Definitely a must do!

We arrived at this location and expected a lot of fun the lobby was nice, but when we entered the room there was a missing marker for our white board. After that we realized they had forgotten to reset one of the locks on a four lock chest and to top it all of one piece to the puzzle was missing all together. There was no way for us to move on in the room with out this piece and after being stuck on this for 25 minutes they finally entered the room and had the audacity to say we wouldn't have figured it out anyways. They also were not paying attention to our game play giving us hints that we had either already done or were not even to that certain puzzle. All together i would never go back and will not be recommending this business to anyone. read more

My husband & I took a bunch of our nieces & nephews here, ages 4-18. They all had a lot of fun trying to solve all the riddles & clues. The 4 year old obviously didn't get as much out of it, but he still had fun playing with all the props & being with the group. We didn't successfully escape in time, but we all still had a blast & it was a fun activity to do together that was out of the ordinary. Definitely a great addition to Waco & worth visiting at any age. My husband & I are excited to go back soon & try some of the other rooms. Highly recommend! read more

We have now done 10 different escape rooms throughout the country and are 7-3 total. All three losses are here. If you are a first timer, don't come here. This place is designed to be more challenging than fun. Most escape rooms you go to, all of the props mean something and the clues take you in a specific direction. Net here. The rooms are full of props that will just waste your time. They also have things that definitely look like clues (for those that have experience) that actually mean nothing. Basically, there is no rhyme or reason to what's in the room until you have actually solved a clue and wasted your time. While I am a sore loser (which is why we tried two more), there comes a point in time where you realize that you realize you have wasted it (and money) and have to remember the "definition" for insanity. To prove I am not insane, we have decided to actually enjoy our time at other escape rooms. read more

Seriously so much fun!! This is way different from what our typical date night would be but we took a chance and 2 couples went to Waco escape rooms. It was a blast!! The staff is very friendly and inviting, they get you pumped for the activity. We laughed so much trying to figure out all of the complex twist and turns, it's unreal the amount of thought that was put in to this! Definitely give it a shot you will not regret it! read more
