My first waffle house experience! Went late at night and the service was slow, however it was very understandable. There was a lot of people and only one chef and one waiter working and the waiter was very friendly and trying her best. Food was fine, a bit oily for my taste but I think that is your standard waffle house. My gf thought it was the best waffle house she's been to so this experience was pretty good!

We stopped here for breakfast on 4/19. Our server must have been brand new. She couldn't answer any questions and when we asked for the larger menu she gave us an inventory sheet. I had an omelet and it was ok, I just hate how the square "cheese" isn't really cheese. Toast was dry, sausage gravy was thick and gummy. Not one of my favorite visits.

I ordered cheese curds as a starter. They taste greatz kinda like small mozzarella stick nuggets. We ordered four plate: grilled cheese, plain cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and B.E.L.T. (bacon egg, lettuce, tomato). Fries all the way around. They were well-cooked crinkle fries, and well seasoned too. I had the B.E.L.T. which was great. In fact, all of the food was ideal and fresh. Between the flawless, quick food, and cleanliness, and the service I am missing nothing. Kylie was super nice and always there when we needed her. Overall, this place is a winner. Simple menu, all-day breakfast, and convenient location. Definitely worth checking out.

If you yearn for food that doesn't taste like it originated from a deep freezer, than I highly…read morerecommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern. For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

A reminder of the days when men and women dressed with class and wore hats and coats to dinner.. Mills has this inherent 50s vibe, but the menu is quite up-to-date and everything is delicious. You can't go wrong with the burgers, I'm just telling you they've got something for everyone's taste. Even the sides don't disappoint, and the milkshakes are enough for two people, at least it was enough for the two of us. My engine rings were fantastic, breaded to perfection, and plenty of them came with my meal. Our waitress was tremendous also, quick drink refills, brought our food, hot, and prepared to give helpful and delicious recommendations from the menu. They do sell their merchandise at the checkout, but what do you expect, this is pigeon Forge for goodness sake! Everyone is Hawking their stuff . We are definitely planning on coming back and trying something different. Their menu is diverse and I think that we could come back for years and never have the same thing twice.

We were seated in the very back of the restaurant, so it was very hard to see on the other side of the wall! The first bad thing we had happened my son asked for coffee and they gave him cream that expired several months prior that curdled as he poured into his coffee. We even showed the waitress the expiration date. We had to wait a long time for even our appetizer and salads to even come out . We waited a long time for food to come out even our salads didn't come out but right before our meal. We had one meal that was undercooked which was the hamburger steak where it was very raw in the middle after asking it for medium well. We had one person's food that didn't even come out with the rest of the meals while everyone else was eating she had to wait. In total we were there almost a total of 2 1/2 hours in total for dinner Which was ridiculous !!! I have ate at a lot of restaurants, but this is one I will not go back to, and I have ate their previously during the day also ordering takeout but not again The interior in the restaurant is outstanding, and the design is beautiful but The outside does look a little rough. Would not recommend this restaurant

This place is awesome! Best Grilled Chicken Salad I have ever had…read more I asked the owner how the chicken tastes like that. He said they use a seasoned grill, so all those different tastes from everything cooked on the grill are mixed in. That taste really popped! And the vegetables were super fresh. I even enjoyed the bacon bits (not like me). I preferred the Thousand Island dressing over the Italian dressing for this meal. I didn't eat the egg (I only eat scrambled eggs). The second trip was more of a breakfast meal and also very strong. Super-fresh fruit, eggs cooked very well done as requested, good bacon, and quality toast. I would give the first meal a 10 and the second meal a 9.4. Both incredibly high. The staff is very friendly, the prices are fair, and they will accommodate anything you want that isn't on the menu as long as they have it. Highly Recommended!

After being seated, the staff came over and let us know the kitchen was switching to lunch, which we planned to get. I opted for the Light Lunch, with a half BLT and cup of chicken noodle soup. My partner ordered the Ruben with sweet potato fries. They are definitely worth the small up charge! We ended with a slice of homemade carrot cake which was large and delicious. We ended up bringing half of it home.
