The staff was friendly and our waitress was as attentive as she could be. We sat in to eat breakfast and there were a lot of people getting orders to go. Only half of the restaurant was open for seating and they've cut down staff. I think all of those precautions are a good thing. Our waffles were good. I also ordered grits. Waffle House grits are what they are. A little thick for my taste, but adding butter helped a bit., This location is right infront of a Walmart marketplace, so it's convenient. read more

After living in Hungary for about a year, I craved cheese grits and eggs. My parents drove me directly from the airport to WH. Fantastic experience. Clean store, super friendly service, and excellent food. Grits can be very disappointing (watery or clumpy, saltless) or very satisfying (just the right texture with right amount of salt). Everything on my plate was perfect. Our server by far was the star of the meal. We wanted raisin toast, but they were out. The server left WH and purchased raisin toast for us at the Wal-Mart neighborhood market nearby so we would not go without. Quite remarkable. We returned for other meals. Service was not so good, but the food was still great. Still a great WH and hope to return soon. read more

We got there at 8:40 pm and were told by a very rude waitress that they were not taking orders at the time. One guy was sitting at the counter eating and that was it.... no other customers! Thought Waffle House was a 24 hour restaurant.This is getting to be typical of most of the restaurants in Montgomery that we try to frequent. Never again! read more

Four of us stopped by for breakfast on our way out of town. Who doesn't like waffles, right? When we ordered our adventure began. We got food.... About half of it. Only half of THAT half was actually warm though. And no drinks. We asked again for the drinks. And waited. Choked down some food.... And asked again. And waited some more. (Has anyone ever actually choked to death on dry toast?) We got drinks and celebrated the small victory while our waitress tried to sort out a messed up order behind us (I know, I know, it should've been a sign) But maybe this was going to turn around for us! Except we're still in search of the missing half of our order (4 orders of sausage and 4 waffles). Maybe the people behind us had them? Things are looking up, though, so we optimistically hydrate while we wait. And wait. And wait. Until one plate of sausage arrives. (The other table did have to explain that it wasn't theirs before we received it though) We draw straws and one lucky diner at our table begins chowing down on the only plate of sausage known to man. We've finished eating everything else at this point, so we're only waiting on our "dessert waffles". And waiting. One waffle arrives.... We all watch as my mom eats it. All of it. Still no further deliveries. We ask again, but the waitress explained that apparently there's a waffle maker shortage (probably Covid's fault, I get it). By now if we sit there any longer we're going to have to order lunch and I'm sure we'd just get old and die at the Waffle House, so we're looking for our waitress to just have her forget the waffles and bring the check. At which point, as if out of thin air, she appears with.... You guessed it..... the missing dessert waffles. An hour and a half and 8 separate pieces of our breakfast later we just asked for the check and left. Learn from my mistakes people. The wait at Cracker Barrel is not THAT long and you'll probably get out of there faster anyway. Just don't. read more

I ended up leaving after waiting for a table for 20 min. There were 9 employees working, I was the first person waiting and they couldn't manage to clean one spot on the counter. Employees were busy on their phones and ignoring the long line of customers waiting to sit down. read more

AWFUL!!!! We sat waiting for over 10 minutes without any service until my son and I finally just walked. I called the location and asked to either speak with a manager or get the 800 number. Initially I was told the manager was too busy to come to the phone and no one seemed to know what the customer relations number was to give me. Finally a lady picked up the phone and was very rude and condescending. She heard my story and was very argumentative stating I didn't know what I was talking about and my store experience could not have happened as I described. Again I asked for the customer relations number and after a lot of back and forth, she finally mumbled some numbers to me. I asked for her name and was quickly informed that I didn't ask for it initially and all I needed to know was she was the relief manager. She then hung up on me. Needless to say that I will never step foot in this location again. Its not the first time I've had bad service here, but it definitely will be the last. read more

January 12, 2020 This place is filthy. I arrived at 5:45 am on a Sunday. The parking lot had food containers and food spilled. Two of the staff were "making out" in front of the cooking station and 2 were asleep at the counter. The inside was disgusting. Tables weren't cleaned, food on the floor, etc. I could go in and on with how unsanitary this place was. I honestly don't know how the health department can allow a place like this to operate. read more

I adore a clean Waffle House, and this one is definitely clean. I walked in on a Saturday night/ Sunday morning, and this place was packed. I was able to find seating and Crystal (a true sweetheart) took my order. Since I didn't want overload myself on carbs, I opted for just hash browns and grits, which where really good, but nothing in life compares to the pecan waffle. I also ordered an omelette and t-bone steak for my friend. He stated that the steak was cooked perfectly. Monday night, I had the extremely pleasure of meeting Kevin, the cook, and Stix, the server. Both were upbeat and lively. Again, I didn't order the waffle :-( Since Waffle House is a standard franchise, I wouldn't have given more than three stars. What sets this Waffle House apart is the cleanliness and the awesome workers. read more

Don't get me wrong by the rating, this waffle house has good food BUT THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. Everything in montgomery closes at 9 or 10 so it already sucks because I have to walk into a place to get my food, but I can't even call it in because somebody's unplugging the phone! Who wants to sit there and wait on their food that they want to eat at home. I might as well sit there and eat there, but i don't want to do that. Love/hate relationship for sure. We went to this Waffle House this morning when the local deli we meant to eat at was closed. We were pleasantly surprised. We arrived just before 10 am to a crowded restaurant. We were greeted at the door by an employee who asked whether we wanted to wait on a booth. We said we just want to sit down. He pointed out two stools at the counter which we took. Wow! I was really glad we sat there were we could see the assembly line cooking. Amazing. I have to say I was entertained and impressed by the effort and efficiency I saw! As soon as we sat down, a waitress asked about our order. I asked for a full menu, which she pleasantly and promptly provided. We got our water, and just a few minutes later our meals arrived. I ordered the fiesta omelet with toast and grits. My husband ordered a combo plate that included eggs, meat, toast, hash browns, and a waffle. Both were delicious. I've been to Waffle House restaurants before, but I think I've found my favorite dish now. Fiesta Omelet. Yum. The icing on the cake is that we received a Senior Discount which paid the tax on our meal. I give this location two thumbs up. It's as good as it gets when it comes to fast breakfast food. read more

I stopped here after my doctors appointment because it very early and I was very hungry, I always get my eggs over light. No sooner than I could get to my car I became sick with stomach pain. I had to go straight back in and to the bathroom. This was extreme diarrhea. This happen to me 6 months ago at the same location. The bacon was so raw, it had been thrown on the grill and taken off. Part of the order was forgotten, and if I wanted it, it would have to be cooked. Had to asked for it to be taken off bill. Should these worker be taught how to cook? Had to wait for my order to be taken. I felt like I should have shown them how to cook an over light egg. read more

I would rate 0 stars if it were an option. To start, i never expect amazing service at any waffle house. This one however was the most disgusting, despicable, and disrespectful waffle house i have ever been to. The waitresses(all except one) did nothing but eat the entire time they were prepping plates and serving food which is DISGUSTING. When me and my fiancé politely asked for our ticket when we noticed a trend and before we received our food, all of the waitresses that were eating decided to get rude and one even had the audacity to say, "This isn't the only waffle house in montgomery you can eat at another one" At that point we just got up and left. I really could have taken it to another level, but hey, you cant expect much from people making minimum wage these days. We ended up going back later and leaving a nice tip for our individual server since she worked so hard the entire time we were there but the rest of those servers can play in traffic. Every time I call this Waffle House they never answer there phone I called the first time I called someone answered and said "please wait to be on hold" I was waiting on hold for like 10 min and your telling me no one passed the phone in 10 mins just to take my order. We called up there this past saturday night to order food. They picked up the phone and put us on hold and just sat it on the counter. We could here them talking in the background.
