About 3 months ago, I when in for breakfast. The worst and most horrifying experience. Let me start by telling you, the waitress was friendly and courteous, but once food arrived that's when my experience became unpleasant. As I was half way enjoying and eating the vegetarian omelet I happened to find hair stuck to the egg and cheese. We let the waitress know, she told me they would make me a new one. By then, I was disgusted by the unpleasant hair. Once I got the check they still had the indecency of charging me the meal, after finding hair stuck on the food and didn't even bother to eat the new omelet. I would high recommended you on checking your food. If I found a hair on my food, what else can you expect. I would consider checking their sanitation on their kitchen. read more

Food was OK, But the bar area is not open. They don't serve any alcohol at all. I miss Buffalo Cafe for the bar area

We had a great experience, we walked in and it was full, nobody was serving us a table but Julio was really one of a kind. He gave us a table as soon as he saw we were waiting and made great recommendations. He kept checking up on us and giving us refills, we had a good time and a lot of that was owed to him, not to mention how great the food was!! My wife and I took my mother here for the first time for all of us. We loved the selection and my mother was over the moon with how the staff took care to protect her delicate pallet. We enjoyed everything. Our waitress Elizabeth was fantastic!! We will be back again and again. I'm dying to try the Giant Breakfast and the dinners look extremely enticing. Very disappointed in the disrespect we received from this restaurant. I have NEVER yelp reviewed anywhere else! But I felt compelled to do so today as I am very saddened by what occurred today. This places claims to have "all football games" which me and family were beyond excited to have a place very close to home to enjoy some good food (which they do have) and some good football! When we went in we didn't see our game and asked if it could be put on. At first the waitress said the manager said they couldn't change them. So we asked nicely to speak with the manager ourselves. This used to be our #1 place for wings, but after today we decided not to come back. It's my grandma's birthday and we decided to take her there since we all enjoy the food. However, today my boyfriend found a piece of what seemed to be a tea bag at the bottom of his glass of beer. My mom decided to call the manager and while they brought him back a bigger size glass, the Manager was explaining it was a piece of paper and was making it seem as if WE put it in there. Meanwhile the waitress, Katerine P. slammed the glass of beer on the table and after this happened we only decided to stay because it was already late and my grandparents were hungry. She then came back with the food and had an attitude the whole time she was assisting us, very unprofessional and rude. We then realized that the table next to us had a dirty cup as well. I went yesterday with my kids I ordered a pastrami sandwich that was mediocre would have been better if there was no butter on the bread. my daughter had a pizza she said it was good. My son had a quesadilla. I later found out that for every adult meal a kid meal should be half off. I was there after 4 and was never offered that deal. The waiter seemed pretty lost. I saw other people asking questions and he seemed unsure about a lot of stuff. I will not be going back. Right before I left my cousin and her family showed up they ordered steak and shrimp when her plate came out the mashed potatoes were still cold and even had ice on the top. They forgot to bring the shrimp on both of their meals and also never brought the cheese bread... How do you forget the shrimp when you order steak and shrimp? Just had dinner at the Waffle Kitchen. Ordered the fried chicken dinner and split it with my wife. It was excellent and we couldn't finish all. The best thing about dinner was our waitress Nicole. She was fantastic, nice, and took care of all our needs without us even asking. Do yourself a favor! I really really want this place to work for us eastsiders! We have no good restaurants on this side of town. However my shrimp and fries plate was terrible. They served me the most burnt shrimp ever. It was so burnt it scraped my gums... my fries were soggy. My niece had a steak which was not good it looked a little grayish. My sister had a salad that was just meh. I ordered take out and I live 5 minutes away by the time I got home the food was cold. I got the hot wing combo with chicken and waffles. The chicken was burnt. Saturday for lunch, not busy, bartender should not be waitress, waited for drink order, no hostess. Finallly got water, ordered Bloody Mary, tasted like Tabasco soup, she did not know what the soup of the day was, had to leave table and go to kitchen, three men sitting at the bar BTW. I finally ordered, asked for more water, then man at bar ordered a salad, then a couple came in they ordered waffles. I order hamburger melt, slaw no fries. I ordered first and cup of soup. Man at bar got salad which btw was printed wrong in menu, has chicken but not in description, Couple got waffles and fries , I finallly get a cup of soup. Remember I ordered first. Bar waitress shows up, bartender still delivers food on restaurant side, and hostess. Waitress brings out my burger, slaw was so wet and swimming in dressing, aweful experience .My patty melt had red onion slightly grilled. Thinnest burger (probably frozen) I have ever seen. I cannot believe previous posts of good food, man at bar wasn't impressed either. Lady next to him asked how was the chicken, he said there was some pieces. LOL never again. read more

Came here for Father's Day. The restaurant is beautiful and our waitress was very polite, worked quickly but unfortunately our food sucked. Mainly my husband's​ french toast, which tasted good until he found onion and lettuce cooked into the toast. It was disgusting and we were offered two extra slices but who wants two more slices of onion toast? read more

First of all, I wasn't impressed. I didn't like that they were wiping the glass area next to the booth we were sitting in. That should have been done BEFORE the restaurant opened. So I had to watch them wiping windows directly above my head. The other problem I had was the server wanted to tell me that the eggs that I ordered (I asked for real eggs) were actual cracked eggs. They were not. They were completely yellow and too velvety to be the eggs I cook in my kitchen. The pancakes were too thick and dry and the flavor was not favorable. You could tell everything was a frozen product and not fresh. I'm generously giving a two when it really should be a one, that's only because the servers were nice. read more

I have been here at least 7 times. The first time, the fried chicken was good but the waffles were burnt. Another visit, my order was wrong. I ordered a pizza and got a burger. The chicken was hard and very overcooked and I'm not sure if someone ate my food because the side of zucchini included 5 pieces of zucchini instead of the usual box full. I asked the server and she insisted that that is the side order size. I guess I got lucky the other few times. The next visit, the zucchini tasted like fish sticks, it was disgusting. Manager said they changed the recipe. Manager was nice and took the food back. They replaced the order and the replacement chicken was very spicy. It has never been spicy but somehow now it has my mouth on fire. This place seemed promising but has us all very disappointed. Two days in a row my food was just awful. My family and I were excited about coming here. Boy were we ever wrong.Service was horrible we had Cindy she had a bit of an attitude we asked her for a few min to order, then took her sweet time to return. Got our drinks mixed up and it wasn't even busy. When she finally brought our drinks one of the cups was dirty so we asked for a new one. After that I decided to check silverware which one had a big chunk of food yuck! Our appetizer came 3-5 min before the food we ordered and it was cold. So was the burger my hubby ordered patty felt really cold and it was a thin patty we couldn't understand why. My salad looked nothing like the picture and the dressing wasn't even southwest!? I know it's a soft opening but they need to get it together! Staff can't even communicate and to top it off no alcohol lic. yet! We finished eating after we asked to have the burger removed and asked for the check. Cindy was to busy counting her tips to even bother getting our payment. She really shouldn't be a waitress. This restaurant is HORRIBLY MANAGED! I came here with my younger sister to enjoy a yummy waffle with her. My waffle took an hour to come, and it was cold, as those who had ordered the same were receiving theirs back to back. 1 HOUR FOR A WHOLE WAFFLE??!! REALLY??!! It's not like I ordered a steak . My server was very sweet, but she seemed quite unhappy so I decided to take a peak at what they had cooking in the kitchen, BOY OH BOY did I suddenly understand why she seemed unhappy. There was an older man with glasses yelling at her, he even made her cry, a few minutes into receiving my waffle I was greeted by another server, who was also very sweet, and she told me that she was going to be my server for the remainder of the time as my previous server left the restaurant in tears. Is this man CRAZY, your servers are not children they are adults so speak to them as so. Whoever that man was the owners need to put his bald headed ass on check, make him feel like a child for a change see if he likes to be treated like so. These servers bust their ass on a daily to maintain a calm, and ongoing environment last thing they need is a Chihuahua biting at their ankles and barking all up in their ears. I feel extremely bad for all the employees who work with him on a daily, maybe if he was gone I'd see more TRUE SMILES on the front end employees faces.
