It's a vegan and vegetarian cafe that serves nice food and a brunch buffet on Sunday. The owners are from Anatolia region of Turkey and the food is prepared in this style. There is a nice selection of cakes and pastries at the counter including Turkish desserts like baklava and others. They make most things in house. The brunch buffet is quite inexpensive at €9 and it was more or less full when I got there. Eggs baked in tomatoes, cous cous, dolmades, soup, fruit, breads and many other items on the brunch buffet. I loved the flavours and enjoyed the dishes very much. A great choice for delicious vegetarian and vegan food in Munich. Glad I tried it and will be back again for a meal. It's no frills but nice and tasty home cooked food for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is eclectic and the owners very nice people.

It's a casual setting and has almost every vegan baked good. I speak zero German, only English. The woman working barely spoke English, but we made it work! She was very nice and even through our language barrier she recommended some delicious treats for me! I highly recommend the donuts (they're filled to the brim!) and the baklava. The baklava at Umi's was better than any I've ever had in my life! I'm thankful for this little bakery. It made my trip in Munich so nice and tasty! With a glass of water and if things got a little sweet. The service was very good. Young people who work there and they did a professional job at providing a service! So friendly and kind. Our only regret is that we didn't get a chance to visit again for breakfast before our trip to Munich was over. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. This was one of the first to pop up and all the reviews I read looked great. It was a short walk from our hotel and it was right on our way to the city center. We had to of been their first customers of the day but we were greeted with a warm welcome and they even provided us with menus in English. The food was FANTASTIC & the cappuccinos were out of this world. I cannot remember the name of the nice gentleman who served us but he was such a nice guy. He seemed interested in our travels and where we were from. If you are ever in the Munich area, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. We may even go back tomorrow before we leave! The people at the front desk were always very kind and polite. They did their best to accommodate us as best they could. However, the cleaning left a lot to be desired. We found lots of dust bunnies in the kitchen dining room area. But other than that, I would definitely recommend this place.
