Wir gehen seit Jahren regelmäßig ins Waldhotel Ehrental und waren bislang nie entäuscht. Nicht nur für Familienfeiern, sondern auch auf ein gemütliches Essen zu zweit. Das Personal ist stets ausgesprochen zuvorkommend. Als Stammgäste werden wir (wie auch bei dieser Feier) häufig vom Chef persönlich begrüßt. Übrigens: Verwandte von uns haben zu dieser Gelegenheit im Hotel übernachtet und waren auch von dem Frühstücksbuffet sehr angetan. read more

Excellent kitchen where some traditional dishes have an added new touch. The Thueringer Klöße…read more(potato dumplings) are home made and a must try since most other restaurants use the ready made version. Good service. On the pricy side though - otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
