It teaches you a lot about yourself and how you respond to visual impairment. I used the survival skills I learned in school to locate my glass or picking up a fork in pitch black darkness. I chose the vegetarian option and the 3 courses were very flavorful and I was able to taste the food even more so in the dark. I felt like the dark made my sensory of my palate enhanced. Keep in mind everything in Zurich is extremely expensive. Wait I should say the upper echelon of the world! Anyways, you pay for the experience. This really changed my outlook in life and I have even more gratitude when I wake up everyday! I was very grateful for this unique experience!

I had the rabbit, with veggies and potato mash- the food was tip top, and I never broke a glass! The chocolate truffle tort was a tasty little sweet, and the Lazarus wine was a soft, fine treat. The wait staff are visually impaired, but kind, and the service is as good as any you'll find. All and all it was pricey, but it's for a good reason: try out Blindekuh- dine in the dark in any season!
