Their pharmacy staff is literally crazy. I called in to explain how I was mistreated by an employee. The lady said "can I talk" and I said "i shouldn't have to call your ass out to say you're sorry I was mistreated" and when I said that she said ass was a bad word. I went on to say ass is the word for donkey and she thought I was calling her a donkey............. Tried to explain that this lady totally misunderstood me to the lady and then she gave the phone to someone else who was rude didn't care and assumed I was the bad guy. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS WALGREENS, IT IS MISMANAGED FROM THE TOP DOWN. On top of the litany of poor reviews regarding the pharmacy (which I can attest are accurate), the management at this store has zero focus on customer service on the retail side as well. On 1JUN at approx 1:30p, there were 19 customers in line to check out (including myself) meanwhile district manager Ashley was at the photo counter taking three employees off the floor to "train" them to sell walgreens credit cards at the POS. Despite the single cashier working calling over the intercom for assistance, in addition to two automated intercom messages for customer service in cosmetics and allergy sections, Ashley did not once stop her pitch explaining how to sell credit cards. I've worked in retail management for years and understand that there are KPIs and specific pushes that managers are responsible for, but the blatant disregard for customer experience and team playing demonstrated by DM Ashley was deplorable. There's no way this woman should be in management and I can only imagine how she interfaces with her team behind doors. After making my purchase, I went over to confront her to which she only replied "I'm sorry for not keeping a closer eye out, I encourage you to contact 1-800 Walgreens. She blatantly refused to give me her last name nor regional managers contact info to share this experience with, instead choosing to brush me off to entry level employees--I'm sure par for the course for this unfortunately misguided manager. While I'd long ago pulled all my prescriptions from Walgreens due to their monopolistic business model, poor generic suppliers and constant understaffing, I will never be patronizing this Walgreens again. I feel for the employees, which have always been kind and helpful here, but until there is a big change at the managerial level, I will not be returning. Had I not already been crunched for time on my lunch break due to this, I would have walked out and completed my purchase at a competitor. The following is copied and pasted from a request for me to rate my recent pick up experience... I rated it poor there, and has promised- am rating it poorly here too. I really didn't care for the fact that the drive thru itself appeared like it was closed... I would have second guessed (it took about 3 minutes for someone to finally come to the window) the drive thru, had I not seen someone in front of me successfully get their needs met. Not only that, but when I did inform the lady I was there to "pick up my order" and it was photos- she told me, "you have to come inside for that" I said,"your website gives the option to drive thru or park curbside"... and then she tried to charge me again! Finally, some man came over and showed her on the screen it had been paid for (I had since found my email with the notification of payment, and showed it to her) and I finally got my photos... You know, I had a screaming and crying baby in my back seat- if I wasn't in a hurry, I would have gone inside- I thought this process would be easy and convenient- instead- all I got was a headache,.. oh, and my photos- but that was ridiculous. I made an appointment on Walgreens.com for Covid vaccine at 7:30pm&7:45pm one for me and one for my wife , this is the place has that time available when we got there the pharmacy was closed only drive through open, asked one of the worker there and was told they short of staff so they closed and I was asking how I can make sure it won't happen when I schedule an another appointment? Pretty nice, open, clean Walgreens that is fairly easily accessible from the Southlands area. My Mom needed something after an appointment I took her to and it was easy in, and easy out. They have a daily wide range of items here, more so then my local Walgreens. This store is quite large, well lit, wide aisles with a photo center, grocery items, and the medical items you would expect from a Walgreens. Bring your Walgreens card as there are quite a few deals to be had, and the card is free. Who doesn't like to save a little money for doing next to nothing? I've been going to this pharmacy for about three years but over the last two or three months I've had several very bad experiences. Always a 45 minute wait whether you are in the drive-through or waiting inside for pickup. I rely on the app but recently I've had questions and have needed to call. What a nightmare. Like the other reviews say, there is a 45 minute hold time no matter what time of day you call and eventually the call Will disconnect. I talked to the store manager about this and she said she Would check the phone system and see if something was wrong. Another time I was inside and asked who was responsible for answering the phone. A man said "the phone is right next to me and I've been answering it all night," even though I had been calling all night and no one answered. I eventually drove there just to get a question answered. On another occasion I drove there to get a question answered because again no one would answer the phone and I again asked why no one answers the phone. The girl's response was, "we turn the phones off when we're busy." Once again while I was in the store I asked why they didn't answer the phone and a man yelled at me and Said " look lady, I'm answering the phone, filling prescriptions, and giving injections so contact corporate about your issues" I am your customer damn it whether I am in the drive-through, inside waiting forever, or CALLING ON THE PHONE! I was asking questions about my medication to one of the female pharmacist and she was very rude & sarcastic so I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she ignored me. Rude Managers = Bad Service. Get it together. This is the closest pharmacy to me but I'm going to switch and drive further. They'll probably appreciate it. One less customer Bitching about your sorry ass pharmacy. The prescription Status on the app is not very reliable. It will show prescription is "in progress" and the pick up date was two days ago. So, since I know I Can't call I have to visit the store not knowing if my prescription is ready or not. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Waited in drive thru pharmacy for over 30 mins only to be told they are still "unloading" and "have a lot to unload". I was told to come back in an hour when they will supposedly have more staff available to unload. I don't understand why it takes over 30 mins to help a few people in line. Horrible horrible horrible. Just the customer service lacks completely. I am speaking only about the pharmacy department. The technicians in there really could care less about the patients and their prescriptions. My daughter had swimmers ear and had some drops that were expensive and I had to ask them to send it back to the doctor and ask for a generic one. It's been two days and I've checked back twice with them. they say they've never received the fax but also have never called me about and update on my daughters medicine. They also only faxed one time more than 48 hours ago to the doctor to get a generic. Wow what kind of compassion. 5/13/2020 I honestly don't use the pharmacy very much but when I do it's just constantly an issue. It's like they can't get it together and they can't be pleasant or nice and the professionalism is pretty much out the window. You COULD have sent me a text message informing me that my prescription was no longer available, but no, i had to stand in line for an hour to find that out. All I have to say is to check your meds when you get meds at this location. I went yesterday for the first and LAST time. I was missing one pill out of the total count that I was supposed to get. I wonder if they are keeping pills from every order they process. If they do, this needs to be reported to the state board of pharmacy. Good Luck! read more

This place is the worst. Don't take my word for it, read the other reviews. This Walgreens NEVER answers the phone, is understaffed, etc. Just one example... I waited 45 minutes in line (while on phone to this pharmacy as well) and only got 4 spaces closer in a 30 person line!?!?!? I'd bet people at the end of line wouldn't make the 10pm closing time either (It was only 7:15pm). I will never place an order from this store nor shop here ever again. There is no organization of anything. I placed an online order, went to pick it up and they couldn't find it but the employee told me not to worry because my card would not be charged until I picked up the items. Next day I called Walgreens customer service to tell them about the situation since my card had already been charged. She was rude but did call the store and someone confirmed they had my package there. I told them I would shop up in a few hours to pick it up. I show up again and again no one had any idea where my package was. I called customer service again and was rudely greeted again and asked for a refund. Do not ever use this pharmacy. By far the worst customer service and experience I've ever had. I've never cried in a Walgreens until tonight. They said it would take 30 minutes to get my son's antibiotics, and in reality it took over 4 hours. They could care less that my son is sick at home and I came twice to get his stuff and waited over 40 minutes each time just for them to tell me it still wasn't ready when they said it should of been ready in 30 minutes. The lady was so rude and dismissive and could have truly cared less. Then when his proscription was FINALLY ready, they didn't even have enough to barely fill half of his bottle of medicine. This is by far the worst Walgreens I've been to. I've gotten photos printed here twice. Arrived well after the time mark and still photos weren't done. Finally when they print them, they cut them wrong and have to reprint. If you choose to go to this Walgreens for photos please prepare yourself to wait well over 20 minutes. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER. First, they took 2.5 days to fill a script that I needed the day it was prescribed. Then, I tried to call and was hung up on twice after waiting for 20+ minutes on the phone. Lastly, I went when pharmacy opened at 9AM to pick up script, there were 12 cars in front of me and by 9:26 ONE car had been served so I got out of line. I wish I could say this was the first bad experience with this pharmacy but this has been the pattern the last 2 years. The point of curbside is so that I don't have to go in!!!! But I was told by the cashier when I called that I have to go inside. Am I wrong? Finally took my business from them. They just can't or won't staff. The Pharmacy is an hour wait no matter the day or the time. You can try the drive thru but most of the time there is a sign saying it's closed. I do everything I can through the app and I just need to be handed my prescription, but there is no way to do it efficiently. Poor management! No reason to ever walk in this store. read more

Pharmacist and staff are uninformed, give you the run around then make you complete a process multiple times then say it didn't go through but you don't need it. Waited 2 hours for my vaccine and was treated like I was the bad person. Not sure how any one can provide such bad service but it's possible. we just moved here from Highlands Ranch. The Walgreens there was wonderful, friendly staff, good communication etc. NOT this one at 24250 E SMOKY HILL RD AURORA, CO 80016. I had a flu shot scheduled today at 9 AM arrived 15 minutes early (they require 10 mins early) Signed in, then get a phone call after I signed in from the pharmacy stating they are out of the flu shot. Today is our first snow of the season with slick roads. Could they not have called a 1/2 hour early to prevent people from driving in this weather. Also, it seems the cashiers don't have very good customer service skills. Not friendly at all. Ready to move my prescriptions away from Walgreens. Don't want to deal with these people. read more
