Had Monday 1020a vaccine appt., on 10/21. Check in was easy and staff was friendly and appeared to be efficient. No other customers in pharmacy area and I saw 1 customer in the store. We waited 12 minutes to be called. This may be reasonable for many but for me, it is not. The documentation received states if we are not on time our appt will be cancelled and we would have to wait. Short-staffed? Maybe, but there were other Walgreen's employees all over the store and 1 other customer. read more

Third time in a row where the pharmacy had long lines inside and at the drive thru. My prescription was not ready again. I was told it might be ready tomorrow. Picked up a prescription that was transferred from another pharmacy and with the minimal information they were able to apply my insurance coverage and have it ready quickly. Drive-through was minimum weight and pharmacist was very pleasant. read more

Do not go to this pharmacy. They are terrible. Your prescription will NOT be filled on time, the staff is clueless. Walgreens is on a downhill path and about to go bankrupt so these people just don't care anymore. CVS or Jewel Osco are better alternatives!! read more

2:15 appt for a shot and sat around until 3pm. I was the only person there when I arrived and they took 3 other people getting the same shot before me that arrived 15-20 mins after me! No explanation other than a sorry from the uninterested shot tech. I switched to CVS for all my needs. read more

Do not purchase any VanillaGift cards from Walgreens. The policy at Walgreens is they will not refund the price of the Credit/Debit card once the card is activated. I purchased a VanillaGift card for a friends birthday only to find out the VanillaGift card had been hacked by a hacker in California. It is impossible to correct the matter with the VanillaGift card. You will never get a human when you call the Customer Service number. You will get referred to Website which is broken. We get our prescriptions sent here and have been for years but for the last year they take hours and even a whole day to get the prescriptions ready. Also sometimes you go there and they tell you they didn't have a prescription. Why can't they call us to tell us that? Another time I go there 3 hours after the prescription was sent. They tell me it's not ready and rerun in 2 hours. I return 2 hours later which is half an hour before they close and they tell me it's not ready yet and to return later. This Walgreens in Bartlett on Rt 59 has the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. I actually utilized the pharmacy for many years, and years prior it was lead by a pharmacist named Tim, and he was wonderful. Now they have new, younger pharmacists, and they are unprofessional, untimely, and have extremely poor customer service skills. The pharmacy has terribly long lines and wait times. They do not have your prescriptions ready at the time you ordered via the automated system. The pharmacists are straight up rude and unhelpful. They seem to go out of their way to cause the customers additional aggravation and grief. For example, I ordered gabapentin, which I just looked up and is the seventh most common prescription drug in the US, to be filled a week earlier than I had the month before due to a trip I had planned, and it went through fine on the automated system. But when I went to pick it up, the male pharmacist told me he would not fill it early. I was confused, so I called my insurance company, and they looked into it and said there should be no problem filling it as it followed all legal directives and was approved by them. When I told the pharmacist this it infuriated him. His face turned bright red, and he literally yelled at me that it was "his right" to refuse to fill any prescriptions he wanted. I have no idea what was wrong with this young man. He truly appears mentally unstable. After that crazy incident, I decided that although it is two blocks from my house, I did not need to put up with this atrocious behavior or the long lines and impunctuality. I switched to Bartlett Pharmacy, and they are absolutely wonderful. read more

Had a great experience this evening. (As always) I went to the store and they were sold out on the shelf 100% of all baby medication as a result of COVID-19. (People stockpiled) I asked the pharmacy if they had anything in back. The gentleman (pharmacist tech) went above and beyond and was very helpful and compassionate. He offered a few different options that they have in the pharmacy. He called a lady (very nice always helpful) from the store and she went in back and found exactly what I needed. They both could have simply said that's all they have and that's it but they didn't. I am a frequent patron of the store and they are always friendly and helpful. read more

Every ti.e I come here to get my medication it seems to be a battle with them or the insurance company. I got the pharmacist can go on break but have a back up manager to verify things. Some people need their medication and can't wait and can't help the timing they show up due to work. For what I pay Jewel Osco is cheaper and way more nicer and professional. I think I am going back and keep tbe stuff here that I have to bc of insurance. I am sooo done with this! It's been am issue all year since I had tonswitch bc of insurance. read more

My brother and I decided to stop in and see if they had any of the highly sought after Halloween Squishmallows (tiktok trends nowadays...) and Janet not only checked the back, she looked throughout the Halloween aisles, then proceeded to call every Walgreens in the area to see if any were in stock. Worst service of any Walgreens I've ever been to. First there is no one there physically to help me then when I called to try and locate their new cosmetic line, I was put on hold three times where it sat until it automatically redirected to another line when finally I got a man who said he was the manager. After I explained what happened he completely ignored what I had said and asked me what it was that I was looking for. When I asked him why he didn't think that was odd nor did he apologize he told me how busy they were up at the front and I then told him I would find another Walgreens to go to. This is a shame because it's actually a beautiful new Walgreens and I passed on my way to work although there is another one near where I live in St. Charles and I'm happy to go to that one where they have a very friendly staff and there's always someone there to help. read more

My 3 prescriptions were filled with minutes. The pharmacist filled the prescriptions while the technician figured out my Medicare and Blue Cross co-pay insurance card billings. I was shocked that I paid less than $4 for what would have been over $250, when two other pharmacists had quoted me much higher prices. Very prompt, courteous service from all staff involved! Worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. They change help all the time. You cannot form a relationship with the staff since they are always changing employees. Not a customer oriented staff. Pharmacy cannot handle all the BCBS customers. They need more staff in the pharmacy ASAP!!! I have been there after 7pm and they will let the phones ring and ring and ring, until after 45 minutes they hang up on you. I only go here because I live close by. Horrible horrible! read more

This was the slowest Walgreens pharmacy I have EVER used. Seriously. I use other Walgreens pharmacies very frequently, this one I have used twice now out of necessity. Never again. Two strikes, so they say.... No one else was waiting, no one else in line.... but over 45 minutes for one single prescription (that is a maintenance drug - nothing "unusual/difficult"). I think they may have taken lunch and then come back to fill it. The store itself is new, very nice. Workers throughout the store were all very kind and pleasant. The pharmacy - nothing good to say about it. Stay away if possible. There is another one not far down the road with much better customer service. read more

If the guy behind the counter spent more time doing his job and less time doing his hair they'd be ok. Item rang up way wrong, I had to go confirm as he stood there insisting the price was right. He then proceeds to ask a co worker if I'm right with major attitude and she goes and looks and tells him that I was right. No apology or acknowledgement at all. CVS it is from now on.
