Worst Walgreens pharmacy I've ever been to. They refused to call the doctor about one of my prescriptions, which was an antibiotic that I needed. The pharmacist with long red hair was so rude, it was shameful. I called my doctor myself and they still haven't filled the script 24 hours later. read more

The pharmacy manager is the worst ! She is rude and has no idea what she is doing. She refused to fill a prescription called in by my physicians office the day before a major surgery. Because she refused it, my doctors office had to call the prescription back in to the other Collinsville Pharmacy (belt line) where it was filled with no issues. Make sure you specify the belt line Walgreens with your health care provider. The pharmacy manager definitely owes me and my Surgeon an apology. It's a waste of his and his staffs time as well as extremely stressful for a patient not to have the medications filled prior to the surgery date. read more

Walgreens Save-a-Trip Refills program is not what they say it is, I made more trips using Save-a-Trip Refills than if I just called it in myself, a prescription I needed was supposed to be there on a certain date and it wasn't, I called them and they promised it would be there in two days with two other prescriptions and again it wasn't and I called again, I was informed that a short order would be called in and they would complete the order and it would be ready for pickup in about four days so I went to pick up the short order and it wasn't there but two other prescriptions they just filled were there so I had them return them to there stock, more trips than I ever made when I called them in myself, and now being without for five days I placed the order and cancelled the program not worth the time. read more

This has got to be the WORST location Walgreens has. I use to stop here ALL the time on my way home from work, but had to change up my routine as they never have what I want in stock and the manager is EXTREMELY rude. Saw her kick a vendor out of the store once and all he was trying to do was inform her they were out of stock on something they didn't order. She told him he could bring in the order they asked for, or leave. He left...serves them right! Good luck making money on product you dont have. Not sure why Walgreens keeps a manager like that around. I thought the goal of any business was to make money??? Cant make money if you dont have the product to sell!!! I stopped going there when I saw the way she treated her vendor. Tried them again today...still didn't have what I wanted. Never again... I actually stop in Walgreen's more than often when needing a quick item However I actually prefer CVS as far as a Wellness store, however due to its location it much easier to stop here and go than to deal with the mess that is Wal-Mart. Parking here is quick and easy and the staff is always friendly. The layout is the same as pretty much every other Walgreen's and just like every other store you can use your Balance Rewards card for discounts on a variety of items in the store. My only complaint with this location considering is proximity to the highway is that it's not open 24 hours, which makes things rather difficult if I need to make a quick stop before heading to work in the morning. This location opens at 8am, which makes things more difficult for those needing items before the morning commute. read more

I'm a physician and all I have to say is after talking to their pharmacy, I would not recommend their service to anyone under any circumstance. They are grossly incompetent. They have no business dispensing medications, especially prescriptions; very scary. read more

We were in town for a job and stopped here to pick up a few extra things we needed. We met the nicest lady working tonight. I think her name tag said Tenika. I might've got the spelling wrong. She is the most charismatic, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, fun, Walgreens employee that I have ever met. What a great choice of hire. read more

This Walgreens will not allow me to exchange a a lousy spiral notebook that has a spiral that won't stay on, and the manager refused to make any exceptions. Walgreens return policy is the old Kmart return policy, get ready Walgreens - Kmart went broke, and you will eventually too - Walgreens is too big for its own good. read more

During a horrible time in the world, while I find myself to be a mother of three and an essential employee of the world, this location does not support the public nor do they follow their own policies. I came to the store at 8:50 p.m. as the cashiers and manager were all standing around the front of the store laughing and talking. As I entered the store the manager stops me and says oh we are not letting any more people in. I said, I will be out in 2 minutes, I only need a can of formula, my son has none left for the night. She shook her head and said I don't know what to tell you I'm sorry. In desperation, I ask is there any other stores open and she smiled as she replied, NOPE and turned back around and started chatting with co workers. Horrible customer service. My cousins and I called this location to see if they had Hennessy. There was a lady who told us she would have to put us on hold and check in the back. Seconds before she put us on hold, she said to someone in the background that we sounded too young. She, then put us on hold and hung up the phone. She was extremely unfriendly and rude. It doesn't matter if we sounded young, she should've answered our question respectfully instead of talking bad about us and hanging up. We would not and could not buy the alcohol if we weren't of age anyway. read more

This is the worst Walgreens. Megan that works in the pharmacy seems to think she is a doctor. My husband went to pickup my diabetic test strips and they were held back due to an insurance issue. That was fine. I called the next day to inform them I wanted the test strips and Megan proceeds to tell me I don't need them. I stated I did need them and my doctor prescribed them so I wanted the prescription filled. Megan proceeded to inform me that since I use the Libre system I didn't need test strips. I explained that when my blood sugar goes too low (which it has) the Libre system tells you to verify with a test strip. I want the prescription filled. Megan then says I don't think we have any in stock. I once again informed her they had a bag full of them ready for me the previous day. Megan then says we are too busy to get it ready today. The store was going to be open until 10 PM. I was talking to Megan at around 2 PM. I immediately called the corporate office and filed a complaint. This will definitely be the LAST prescription I have filled at Walgreens. Well hopefully they will fill it. read more

Since it's been 3 days since my incident, and I still have not received a call back from Customer service, I will use YELP. Maybe this will get the attention of the people ignoring my calls. The following is what I posted on my Facebook page the day it happened. It involves Pharmacy manager Rebecca Varel Went to Walgreens to pick up my prescriptions today, I was told I would have to wait for the pharmacist to see me. She came up to the checkout where at least 4 people were standing behind me, and proceeded to "Grill" me about the different drugs that I take on a regular basis. When I told her I was not comfortable about discussing my health in front of several other people, she told me "the insura...nce company is paying for these, and therefore they have the right to question me about them" She continued to question me as if I was doing something wrong by taking the prescriptions my Doctor has had me on for at least 10 years. "we just need to make sure there are no allergies and that I'm taking the prescriptions as directed" At least 4 times I told her I was not going to play along with her invasive questions, but she insisted on continuing her grilling. I was so angry I was shaking! I called Walgreens customer service, and I'm waiting fro someone to call me back. Am I wrong for being pissed off about this??? Do you think it's OK for them to openly discuss my health records in front of other customers, even after I complained I did not care to go any further with their questioning??? read more
