Poor automated phone system. Waited 10+ minutes to renew prescriptions through the automated phone system. Rite Aid was so much better and so much more friendlier. When I finally spoke with a human and asked her how to maneuver through the system she had no idea. She was unconcerned with potentially loosing a customer. The customer service couldn't be worse. I called to make sure my scripts were ready at 9 this morning. They had failed to fill one, but said it would all be ready after 1. I got off work at 2;30. Got in line at the drive thru (from experience going inside isn't any faster), took an hour to get to the window and they hadn't started the 2nd script...so another hour wait and I got some of what was prescribed. The attitude of the staff is nasty, and they have reduced the hours to the point that I literally have to take leave at work to pick up meds. I get off before they close but last time I tried that, I waited an hour and they literally shut the window in my face as it was my turn. The shortened hours are making me look for a different pharmacy. Unfortunately, Insurance keeps me stuck. I am going to move them over to Starkville or Tuscaloosa. Columbus is literally so bad that driving 2 hours (over and back to Tusca) is preferable. I was in line for 2 hours here today. Do better. read more

I have gone twice (driving an hour from work to get there on time) and the drive through pharmacy has been closed. The first time I had been sitting in line for 20 minutes. Hours state open till 6PM but they were closed at 5:49PM. Very aggravating, guess I'll try one more time to get my prescription. read more

The customer service at this Walgreens is terrible. I placed an order for same-day photo prints and--like every other time at this location--they weren't ready the next day. When I called to check on the order, the employee hung up on me the second I said the word "photos." So I went to the store. The woman at the register was rude, and the team lead, Sam, couldn't give me any kind of update besides "they're not done." I wasn't asking for a full explanation--just wanted to know when they might be ready. When I asked about the hang-up, Sam claimed "that phone is broken," which doesn't make sense when someone clearly answered and then hung up after hearing what I was calling about. I ended up having to call corporate. After that, I called the store again, and a different employee finally answered, apologized, and told me the order would be printed and ready by 5 PM. When I came back to pick them up, Sam was still there, working the photo counter. While I waited, he kept loudly trying to get another associate to take over for him, saying "everything is wrong" when she asked what kind of help he needed. It should not take this many steps--and that much unprofessional behavior--just to pick up some photos. Completely unacceptable. read more

Staff failed to pick up the phone for me, my wife and another pharmacy, this caused my daughter who was just released from the hospital for having a severe allergic reaction, to go without her EpiPen and other critical medication. When I asked about the issue, they said that the phone had just been ringing too much that day. The staff was rude and dismissive and even when we explained the severity and urgency of the issue they continued to FAIL to do their job. complete disregard for customer time and safety. this is inexcusable, especially considering that at the time I'm writing this, I still have not been able to get in touch to move my daughters prescription so she still does not have her medication. If you read this, consider using any other option for a pharmacy. The staff here is apparently too busy to care about your or your families health and wellbeing. read more

1 got a prescription called in mid day one Friday. (I watched the nurse do it.) 5 hours later, it wasn't ready. She said come back in 30 minutes. On Sunday, I waited for an hour in line, and they closed when I was 2 cars back. (Didn't realize they close at 6 on weekends.) Went back on Tuesday. I waited an hout inside bc they weren't using the window because of it being very cold. When I got to front, they said it wasn't ready and to give them 30 minutes. They are terrible, but they have a drive thru, and I am crippled, so I guess I am stuck. read more

Placed a photo order online... arrived well-after the pick up time... they hadn't even started on it. They didn't even know the order was there. Same crap the last FEW times we ordered from the pharmacy. Never an apology, always unfriendly. read more

this is probably the worst pharmacy I have ever been to! The pharmacy techs are extremely rude I was greeted with rudeness from the moment I entered the store I did not get my RX filled none of them they wanted to charge me a lot well I cancelled them I will go to the trouble of getting the doctors office to send them elsewhere I will never do. business at Walgreens again! read more

I enjoy shopping at this location but I have to say that the pharmacy is AWFUL!!! One of the pharmacist that woks there ( younger woman , maybe lower to mid thirties) is so rude. Customers look up to the pharmacist when they pick their medicine up. It's really sad when they act like the CUSTOMER is disturbing them . I have complained several times but nothing has changed. If it was not for the fact that all of my doctors have this location to call my medicine in, I would change. I can only hope that things in the pharmacy will change. read more

Walgreens Columbus hwy 45 is terrible always saying the doctor didn't call in you prescription when you call doctor the Doctor says oh yes I did call it in. Then you speak back with the Pharmacy OH we found it this happens over and over . Well the last straw is they gave my husband CANCER med by mistake my husband name and address on the bottle but a doctor from Starkville he has Never Seen what caught my attention was the bottle said take Once a week??? I looked up the name of the med on google it is for Breast Cancer in women He does NOT have cancer .... every time I call them to complain they act like we are getting disconnected and telling me I must be in my car moving I sitting on my sofa at Home it is MY home phone they are liars and treated me like I did some thing wrong telling me "Do What you have to DO" well I am I sending a report to Mississippi Pharmacy Board I hope they have to close their doors before they KILL someone..... read more
