Apparently, both employees were outside having a cigarette break. When they returned from their break, they were very nonchalant, as if it was part of their job. They didn't even apologize for making them wait. They also were not wearing anything that indicated they were Walgreens employees. I realize it's difficult to find good help nowadays, but this is ridiculous. C'mon Walgreens, do better! I may need to start getting familiar with CVS.

Not sure who makes that business decision to shut the pharmacy down rather than leaving half the staff there while half the staff takes their lunch. Even with this ridiculous policy, I arrived five minutes before their lunchtime and just needed a quick flu shot which takes no more than two or three minutes, nobody else was there waiting in line. It was just me they left me stand at the counter for three minutes before coming to the counter and telling me well they were just getting ready to leave for lunch and I would have to leave and come back some other time to get my flu shot, I ridiculously bad customer service and ridiculously bad policy to send the entire staff off for lunch at the same time in the middle of the day and shut the whole pharmacy down.

I mean BECKY... and she said she needed a more clear photo to match it up With what I rang up. CLEARLY, in the photo my kids took, it had a HUGE red sale sign and the entire rack was filled! but NOOOOO. becky couldnt NOT argue. so I told her to have an employee go look this time because I'm not gunna have kids kids go back again for the THIRD time! so she got upset and said "well, then you're just gunna have to go to customer service and they can ring you up for the socks because I cant leave self checkout" I replied saying " no, I dont want TWO separate transactions I want It all on the same transaction, so I'll just have customer service ring it all up for me" becky said "they won't do that for you and there is no manager that is here to help you" so I replied saying "oh yes they will, and I took my cart and went to customer service where there were TWO PPL not helping A single customer !! I asked for a manager to speak to and as I was telling the manager named firew (I think was his name) and told him I was having an issue with Becky again And all I need is her to fix my socks that came up the wrong price.. then BAM out no where Becky shows up!! Wait, but I thought Becky Couldn't leave self checkout?? then she hands the suspended ticket to firew, and she tells him "she's a good one" EXCUSE ME!!??? don't you dare disrespect me in front of my children ! Walmart charges $71.13 for the same script. A local grocery chain, Meijer, charges $46.65 for the very same prescription. Cost difference between Walgreen and Meijer? $307.24...for a 90 day supply. Oh...and Walgreen's told us that they will not refund the money once you walk out the door with your meds, even tho you never opened them.

This is the most disorganized, customer UNFRIENDLY Walgreen's I have ever worked with. Of the few…read moretimes I've used them, 85% of the visits have consisted of a mistake of one type or another. I'm not saying that the mistakes are all the pharmacy, I've made one or two myself. However, when calling to get assistance, the technicians are immediately defensive and rude, and when you finally do get a pharmacist on the line, they talk over you, are rude, and won't help at all claiming that they are going to protect their staf. I was in pain, had waited two days already for them to fill a pain prescription, only for me to have to call and find out that they had contacted my doctor and then had voided my script. They did not call and tell me this, and what's worse, I had a doctors appointment in the meantime, and they had not heard from this pharmacy. Save your money, go across the street to CVS, and you'll have ultimately better customer service.

WARNING about buying gift cards at CVS I Bought a $100.00…read moregift card at CVS Pharmacy for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The transaction on the receipt showed Error with the gift card so I never left the store and brought the problem to managements attention. The staff, including the store manager on duty, would not refund me my money. Told me they could not as store policy. I said, I never left the store, the error is on the receipt and they wouldn't help. The next day after the pending charge went through and money was taken out of my account (which I received nothing for), I called Ruth's Chris and their card services said the card shows it is FROZEN. I called CVS and they told me I would have to wait two to 2-1/2 weeks for a refund while they verified that the gift card had no value added to it. Moral of the story, don't buy gift cards from CVS. Ruth's Chris actually resolved my issue over emails in a few hours while CVS was absolutely no help and the problem was entirely there problem. You will thank me when you have a pleasant experience buying a gift card some where else!
