Absolutely the worst pharmacy we have ever had; and that is suing a lot, as we have used Walgreen's in several cities and states. They literally can't seem to do anything in time, despite giving you a pickup time...when it's never ready. You end up coming back several times for the same prescription. Nothing on their app seems to correspond to the reality of what is available and when to pick it up. They no longer stock many or most medications, and only offer terrible cheap generics, for which you have no choice. We will try to find another pharmacy...anywhere else has to be better. read more

Only transferred here because CVS doesn't take my insurance anymore but would never come back if given the option. Lea or Leah was so rude over the phone, I honestly don't know what I did to instantly tick her off but 0/10 patient service. I'd love for a manager to relisten to that conversation & reach out to me on what happened. I've worked in the pharmacy & know it's sometimes a miserable job, but not enough to be blatantly disrespectful in tone and responses. Please do better. read more

Pharmacist and counter personal in the pharmacy are RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Pharmacist helped me tonight. Threw my prescription in the drawer to me, no words, then drew the Closed shade before I could get my seatbelt back on to leave the drive thru. This is not the 1st time I've received their lack of customer service. I'm going to switch to CVS. Stay clear of the Walgreens At 380/Lake Forest. Don't even bother trying to call. You will be on hold for a minimum of 40 minutes then the call will be dropped and you will be hung up on. I called moments ago and was on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and waited. Another 10 minutes. No one ever answered and I was hung up on. I called a prescription days before it needed to be filled just to make sure that they had it in stock by the time my refill date came around. Two days later, I checked the app and it said that it was "in progress". Tried calling but was on hold for about 40-50 minutes and then was hung up on. Because I needed my script (one that I take every day), I drove to the store location and waited in line to speak to someone at the pharmacy. Finally, it was my turn and I explained my situation. I explained that I needed that script because I was now out of it and it's important that I don't miss a dose due to my heart condition. The tech straight up told me that they didn't have the prescription in stock despite me telling them days ahead of time that I would need it. So I asked to speak directly to the pharmacist. I told him my situation and he asked me to hold on for a moment. 5 minutes later, he came to the window and gave me my script that was supposedly "out of stock". This isn't the first time I've been lied straight to my face by this pharmacy. If you have other options when it comes to where you get your medication from, use them and STAY AWAY from this garbage dump that reeks of lies and bad attitudes! read more

Scheduled a yellow fever shot 2 weeks in advance, drove 30 minutes and got there 15 minutes before my appointment only for them to tell me they have their last dose to a walk-in customer. You cannot check in for the pharmacy. You wait in the LONG line to even check in. No point in making an appointment. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! If you need to fill a prescription to get relieve for you/your kid/your loved one, go anyway else. There is a CVS JUST DOWN THE ROAD, there is a pharmacy across the street in Tom Thumb, and Walmart pharmacy just of s-121. My child was sick and in pain. I asked the doctor the send the prescription to Walgreens of Lebanon rd in Frisco. I went to pickup and drive through said it didn't see the prescription. I went inside, and asked them to please check again. I was told that they did had the prescription information, but it wasn't ready because they just received it.... I asked how soon they could have it and they said 1 hour. I took my kid home to get her comfortable. Got my sick kid back in the car and went back to the pharmacy 1 1/2 hours later (giving them an extra 30min to get it). I had to waited 30 minutes in the drive through line, just to be told that they didn't have ANY record of her prescription. I again parked and went inside to see what the issue was, and I was told they didn't receive any prescription for my daughter. I asked for the lady that had talked to me before (and said to come back in 1 hour), and they said she left.. I asked the pharmacy technician that was still there (and who I had asked a question about the prescription), and she said that she didn't know anything.... That she remembered talking with me, but she wasn't paying attention to what I needed. I asked why I was told that they didn't have t he s prescription and to come back, and the rude attendant just said I don't know I just got here, and promptly told me to leave because he didn't know anything!!!!! In general I don't wish bad to others, but I do to this people! My child deserved to have her medication and the relief that the prescription that the medicine was meant to provide and not only she didn't get it, but also she had to spend hours in the car instead of at home resting. THIS PROPLE ARE A DISGRACE!!!! Go anywhere else***** I don't know how to send a private message. It was store 4786 and all started at about 8:30pm (I was dismissed and me and my child sent home without the medication at around 10:30pm.------- I just spoke to the prescribing doctor and they said that they had confirmation that the prescription was received at 7:50pm AND when the call the pharmacy (because I begged them to help me figure out the problem so my kid could get her medicine, they were told that YES!!! I have been a patron of this pharmacy for 20 years, and it has gone so far downhill the past two or three years that we are leaving it. I have dealt with two lost prescriptions, three short-changed prescriptions (both liquid and pill form), a scheduled flu test appointment when there were no flu tests in stock and no one bothered to contact me beforehand, inconsistent communication (not letting me know when my orders are stalled, or ready, or anything despite being set for automated messages), giving me liquid medicine with no way to dispense or measure it, and rude staff all in the past 6 months. Our family has to play rock, paper scissors on who gets to be the "lucky" one to pick up prescriptions at Walgreens and deal with the incompetence. It's so sad. Get your act together! read more

Avoid this location at all costs. The staff is rude. The lady working there at the vaccination counter was terrible. She couldn't even say good morning back to us. We were filling up a form and I could listen to her sighing like if we were wasting her precious time. She kept rolling her eyes when I asked questions about the form/vaccine. My dad had an appointment for a vaccine at 11:00 and I had mine at 11:15. We were 5 minutes late and she said my dad was not going to get it. There wasn't anyone waiting! Pharmacist refused to fill my prescription for no reason. Only reason I got was because my doctor was not "local". I have used this teledoc service, same doctor, same medicine, same pharmacy for about a year. The pharmacist was just trying to flex his power and told me they didn't want to put their name in for an "override". Didn't even get an explanation why, they just said I would have to fill somewhere else. Put in a complaint with ADA and TSBP. I'll also be up there to talk to the guy in person. Don't shop or send prescriptions here, at least not this location, everyone there has a big ego. I'll get my meds but why not from here? Discrimination, because of my health history. Pharmacist was acting like he was a doctor, asking me when I was going to stop taking the medication, why it was from out of town, my plan for tapering off. Pictures of all the times I've filled the prescription no problem, same doctor, same pharmacy. I was plainly discriminated against based on my medical condition by whoever the persons name was, all because the guy who puts pills in bottles wanted to play doctor. I'll get my meds but it will never be at a Walgreens ever again. Wouldn't even stop in for a pack of gum. Employees are disgusting, disrespectful and dishonest. Keep in mind this medicine isn't Asprin, it's for addiction, and I could go into withdrawal because of them. I also pay retail prices. But whatever I'll take my money somewhere else. This is no minor infraction and you will pay. Rude staff at the pharmacy counter and the main pharmacist said "not just show up " - has no manners and same for others behind that counter - may be they should take some PR classes. So next time, I called day before and the automated line said to pick up after 830 am and when I went there at noon next day they said they didn't have it bc there was no refills authorized even though my doctor had ordered the refills and it was visible on the BSW - Baylor web site. Then my part D Wellcare called me and asked if I had filled up my prescription - they were concerned bout my well being but not this pharmacy. So I called my doctors office and they refilled my two meds the SECOND time and still the pharmacy automated line TWO DAYS later as well as the lady at the counter said " not ready " and come back next day ?? I protested so she checked again and told me it was ready for pick up ! So basically it took me a whole WEEK and several calls to pharmacy to get my two refills. What a harassment at this business. I'm a doctor and this pharmacy is worthless to visit and they don't seem to care. Like other Walgreens, please close this store too bc you are harassing this community and not helping by any means. read more

Honestly, this is the worst experince. I went to find the stuff I needed, but it was so hard to find. I ended up wandering this drugstore and I couldn't find anyone to help me. Then when I got to the register, I had to tell the women, who was not wearing her mask properly, my phone number 4 or 5 times because she didn't understand what I was saying. Then she was asking me for my address??? I just moved from Houston and I don't have my new address memorized yet, so I gave her my old one that is linked to my Walgreen's account. I then had to repeat it another 3 or 4 times, then she asked me for my email address! I was like, "is it not on my account???" she then mumbled something under her breath and asked the other cashier, who was ALSO wearing her mask around her chin and then THAT woman tried to get my info. My cashier motioned to her face for ME to take off MY mask so she can understand me-- I told her "No, I am not fully vaccinated yet." and then repeated the info ONE last time to her. Jesus fucking Christ, I just wanted my items??? I said, louder than my normal speaking voice, "What's going on? Just check me out." to showcase my irritation because now the line was 6 people deep and I don't want a potential eves dropper learning my information! The lady that was checking me out AGAIN asked for my email, I finally shouted, "I DONT WANT TO GIVE YOU THAT INFORMATION--- JUST RING ME UP! PUT ON YOUR MASK PROPERLY." I normally come to this location for one-time prescription pickups. I dropped off my prescription at 10 am, I was told it would be a 15 minute wait and I opted to go home and get some work done. I came back around 11 am and waited in line behind one car. They must have been dying or getting a year's worth of medication because I waited and the two cars behind me pulled up and got through before I did. To top it off, I get to the window and of course, the prescription wasn't ready, I was told they "didn't put it in waitlist" without a reason and told me to come back in 5. I'll come by here to shop inside, it's a typical convenience store. But I won't be picking up prescriptions here again. Update: I was given a 3/4 full medicine bottle with no measuring spoon. I'll have to guess at how much medicine I need. Good stuff! read more

This Walgreens pharmacy location used to be the pinnacle of customer service in the city of Frisco; the pharmacy staff was friendly and knowledgeable at one point, and they used to make you feel as though you and your health was the most important thing to them. However, over the past six months or so, it appears that they are having a high turnover of pharmacy staff (as noticed while I sit at the drive-thru window for copious amounts of time). Please keep in mind that this pertains to the pharmacy staff only, as I am not reviewing the inside of the store itself. During one recent visit, in particular, I was told that an ID was required to pick up an antibiotic and that a passport did not qualify as "proper identification". I could certainly understand if the medicine were a controlled substance, but not basic penicillin. When I asked to speak to a manager (yes, a slightly "Karen" moment...), I was told, "Good luck with that" and the pharmacy technician turned around and left me in the drive-thru! I felt that he was so uneducated about his job that I could have shown him a cut-out square of a cereal box character as an ID and he wouldn't have known whether he could accept it or not. On another visit, my prescription was filled and then put back into stock because (through the fault of my own) I failed to pick it up in a timely manner. As this was my fault, I was completely understanding about the fact that they would have to fill it again, but not that the technician who put the medication back into stock failed to put the prescription refill back into the computer. As you can imagine, I was frustrated by the fact that I had "no refills" (according to them)... luck was on my side, though, as I was able to text my doctor from the drive-thru line and he called immediately to straighten it out. To finally compound my lack of respect for the current pharmacy staff's level of knowledge and common sense, on my last visit the pharmacy technician did not even cover his nose with his medical face mask. One would think that in the world of pharmacy, a technician would have enough knowledge about germs and how masks should be worn to know that if you wear a mask hanging around the bottom of your face without covering your nose, it is virtually useless in this current Coronavirus pandemic. As a customer, I don't feel very warm and fuzzy about pulling up to a pharmacy where the proper protocol isn't being followed to prevent germ spread during a series of infectious molecules floating around randomly in my city. The final straw was when the technician stuck his finger up his nose; I am not sure there was enough hand sanitizer in my travel-sized bottle to make me feel better after that transaction! I have transferred all other family members' prescriptions from this Walgreens to another local pharmacy and I will be following suit with my own. If you visit this pharmacy location, be sure you bring lots of hand sanitizer with you. Two stars simply because to be fair, my medications are usually in stock. read more

I have switched my prescriptions to Walmart Supercenter. My prescriptions are always ready. No Walgreens drama, and having to go without my medications because they are so disorganized, or just don't care. Also when I'm out of town, Walmart fills my prescriptions without drama or a hassle. I had to go without an important medication out of town, because Walgreens said my Dr was not a Dr. I thought all anesthesiologist were Drs? This is basically an update to my prior Walgreens pharmacy dilemmas. Just change to Walmart or another pharmacy. I've had very good service from Walmart. read more

This is quite possibly the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. They gave my husbands prescription to someone else entirely. No explanation, no resolution, just, "Sorry, someone in a pink hoodie filled out your name & address and took it.". He had to contact his MD & have another prescription sent. Also, my own prescription was put in the wrong persons bottle. Thank God I happened to notice the name on the bottle was not mine. It could have been a really serious situation had the medication been what was listed. Finally, the lines are insane!!! There is only 1 line for the cars and the other is continually blocked off. There is regularly 8+ cars waiting. I go inside and that line is 10+ people. Really frustrating and I am SO DONE! read more

This walgreen's pharmacy is unprofessional, lacks knowledge and empathy, and does not show respect. I have a prescription written for supply of every 3months- I informed Bryan ( drive thru) as I was given one month supply again if he could check on why I'm getting my prescription one month at a time. Per Bryan, he stated it was due to my insurance( without looking into the computer to check, etc), I decided to go into the store as I knew the information was incorrect. I asked the pharmacy tech (young indian lady) the same question, and she didn't look she stated the same as Bryan. The pharmacist Daniel informed me with the same answer without checking on "why" i asked Daniel if he could check via the computer, and he checked to inform me my prescription was written for 3 months. " I dont know why this happen" The why is because no one took the time out to run my prescription for what it was written for, I never had any issues with and of my medications until i moved to this Frisco walgreens due to relocating . I have /had trouble with this walgreen's pharmacy with lies, inconsistencies, judgments, unprofessionalism , discrimination, and disregards. This pharmacy needs to have an internal investigation, as the pharmacy does not follow walgreen's mission, nor vision and its sad, hurtful to those who are battling an illness, to have to deal with a pharmacy that discriminates, lies, lazy , unprofessional, lacks knowledge and does not want to do their job! I will give a zero if that's one available. I dropped the prescription in person just want to make sure everything is right. But when I wait 4 hours and try to pick up they told me that they mass up the first and last name and they don't know a date of birth and told me I need to come back half hour later. When I showed up as they told me that they don't even work on it. And they mentioned they are doing me a favor to let me wait for extra hour while they try to fix their own mass. On a positive note, upon walking in I was immediately greeted by a monotoned-voiced woman asking if I needed help finding anything that day. This is a rating about the pharmacy ONLY. I went in for a flu shot and it was very busy, I was helped by a tall black guy who I'm guessing is in his early 20s. He was very kind and helpful & reminded the person administering the shots that I was waiting for a shot. As I was waiting I noticed how almost every customer that came up he seemed to remember their last name from previous visits and I am a fan of that. The only reason I am rating this pharmacy 4 stars is because it took a little while for the lady who gave the shots to come out and give them to me. It wasn't a long wait considering how busy they were so I am not upset about it but for anyone looking to get a flu shot here just plan a few extra minutes. read more
