Well, simply put this Pharmacy staff could learn to count. I have an RX that may not be popular to…read moregive, not acceptable in some opinions, and I'm allowed to pick it up 1 day early. This is important to me bc I have several medications I take for my mental health. I take them all together when I wake and start my day at between 5 and 6 a.m. The Pharmacy isn't open until 3 or 4 hours later. My doctor impresses that I should take them all together. To get them 1 day early that would be on the 29th day after the last, Correct? Well, here in February, let's count together. 31(days in Jan) minus 28 the day I filled them is 4 days! Correct? OK! Then 30 (number of day in script) minus 4(days from Jan) is 26(date allowed to pick up! Correct??? Then 1 day early is the 25!!! Correct?? But the insist that the 25th is only the 28th day???? Please tell me some of you counted with me and got the 25th???? However, We cant do crap about it except say ok sir! Thank you!! The cashier and then the actual pharmacist said different numbers.. Why???

This is regarding the Walgreens on 3550 Broad St…read more I wish I could give negative 50 stars! I have never been treated so horribly by a pharmacist in all my life. This happened this past Friday evening, July 19th, 2024, around 7 pm. My 77-year-old mother, who is arthritic and, in a wheelchair, needed her muscle relaxers. And it's those tiny cyclobenzaprine tablets, 5 mgs a piece, not those huge methocarbamol tablets... When she first received the prescription, it was for 1 a day. But on day 2, I called the dr's office and advised that one a day will not be enough. She needs 2 a night. So, they told us to have her take 2 a night out of her current bottle and when she gets low, to call the dr's office and they will get her going on a new rx for 2 a day. I did just that. I called the dr's office when she was running out and had two pills left. They called in the rx to Walgreens. I received a text that there was an insurance issue. I called dr's office, they get the rx approved with the insurance, and proved medical necessity. It goes through at Walgreens. Then suddenly disappears from the app. I called Walgreens to check the status and the pharmacist flat told me it's too soon to refill. We argued and I asked for the pharmacist in charge, he said that was him. I then asked for a manager. And conveniently, he won't be back until Monday. So, I head down there in person to confront him, along with my mother. But the male know-it-all pharmacist cancelled the rx and put it back on the shelf, stating it's too soon to fill and refused to fill it. I tried to explain what happened, as to why we're refilling on day 45, he kept talking over me and was emphatic that he would not fill my mother's rx because it's too soon to fill, he didn't care about the back story and didn't care that my mom's dr and her insurance are all taken care of, he will not fill it. He was so rude to me and my mother! Such a jerk! I had her rx transferred to the Walgreens in Fort Oglethorpe on Battlefield Pkwy. And when I got to Fort O, the rx was ready and waiting for me with a smile! I am switching all rxs to them. DO NOT use the Walgreens pharmacy on Broad St. Go ANYWHERE else. This pharmacist has a God complex and makes decisions about your meds without consulting your dr. And he stated the dr hadn't consulted HIM! What?? You're not her dr! Why should they consult you?? I told him as I left that I hope he never has to go through the pain and agony my mother does and then deal with someone that withholds meds the dr prescribed. Ludicrous! I will report to corporate Walgreens too! The pharmacist that worked the evening shift on Friday July 19th needs to find another job. He has no customer service skills, no empathy, whatsoever! He is the end all, be all, of your medications. He was condescending and completely infuriating. DO NOT FILL YOUR MEDS THERE.

They say 'no record of prescription'. HOW CAN THIS BE? They have major problems. Don't bother calling the store manager. He just says too bad. I asked who to report system issues to, no one knew.
