If I could give this location zero stars I would. They manage to waste my time about 30% of the trips. First you attempt to utilize the app and then the prescription never gets filled. Then you start calling them to remind them to put the medication into their system. Then even after you go through that hoop and have them check for stock they still will have you show up and not have anything entered into their system. This branch is a circus. It was easier filling prescriptions when they were on paper. Though I doubt this location could manage that. I will never fill one mine or my families prescriptions at this location ever again. read more

I left the doctors office and drove to Walgreens to pick up my prescription. I got there at 5:00 pm and was told I had to wait until 6:30 to get my prescription filled. That's unacceptable. this Walgreens has aweful employees. my boyfri got bit breaking up a dog fight . it wasn't bad enough to go to the hospital but we needed some stuff to keep it from getting Infected so we drove to the Walgreens on hwy 30 in Gonzales with 10 min till they closed, we only needed 3 min to get the stuff we needed , but the girl locked the door. when we showed the employees his arm through the window and begged them just for 3 min they both laughed and turned their backs to ignored us . these heartless soulless women are garbage period. and Walgreens is completely irresponsible for Continuing to employ them . If you ever want to receive the WORST service ever go to this pharmacy. The group of girls working in their are some of the rudest people EVER! Was just in there and saw the worker constantly roll her eyes while on the phone with an elderly person (1940s birthday I heard it) then she called the person dumb once she hung up. Today 1/28 I had surgery and had someone drop my script off and 4:30 for pain medications at the Airline and Hwy 44 locations. They pharmacy refused to fill the medication stating I have to wait till tomorrow after 2 pm. They never confirmed or denied is the medication was available. The check out clerk stated they do this when the lead person leaves for the day make everyone wait till the next day. I just had major surgery and I'm a lot of pain and have to wait 24 hours to have access to pain meds due to lazy unethical Staff. I can only imagine what they do to the elderly population which are most of the clients at this location. This is the 3rd time this had happened. I've had to wait for my anxiety medications and asthma medications while having a flair up. This seems to be the norm and is very wrong! I am very upset and something happens to me Walgreens has now made themselves liable. read more

This pharmacy is not any place you want to go. The employees are jokes, and they misrepresent their hours of operation. Went at lunch and they were "closed" to allow the pharmacist to have lunch. Came back at 7:05 pm and they were closed. Look at the professional poster they have at their drive through that I was relying on for the afternoon. Do not use this pharmacy if you have any choice. They are horrible. Not following covid regulations, slow, rude, unhelpful. All they had to do was call my doctor but instead I wasted an hour having to drive from doctors office to pharmacy, calling insurance with could be easily solvable problems. I do not understand why the drive-thru line always takes SO LONG. If there are 3-4 people in line, it will surely take you nearly an hour to get through. There is no reason it should take that long to drop off or receive a prescription. No. Reason. read more

The clerk at the Pharmacy gave me a horrible attitude when I when to pick up my medication and informed me that it was too early to pick up my life saving medication that I was out of. I informed her that I'm out of medication and she said, "well you can pay the $3800 for your meds and stop complaining". The comment was unprofessional and walked away when I said that's not correct, it's not too early to pick my medication up because I am OUT, of medicine. She proceeded to walk away and said "y'all deal with this man he's getting on my nerves". She should not work at the pharmacy and should not be a part of the medical field if she cannot care for her customers. Customer service should not be like this towards customers who are needing life saving medication. This pharmacy also sent my medication to 3 other locations in the past and has never had my medication on time. Either they need to clean up their attitudes or their system because I am not impressed with either of them. read more

Slowest, rudest pharmacy I have ever been to. Just wasted an hour for them to try and figure out how to bill my insurance

I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. My meds change usually every 1 to 2 months.Consequently, I only get a one month supply of my meds at a time. If they didn't change I would use the mail service...they give good service.! Have informed the pharmacy that I only want a 1 month supply 8 times. Have had to remind the pharmacy 6 times already and told them to put it on my chart the same number of times. Today I picked up my prescription it was closed so that I could not read the info. Asked the sales girl to check to see if it was a 30 day supply. Her reply was "oh yes, a 30 day supply." I had another item so I paid and walked out. Just got home to find that I have another 90 day supply. Which means I have a year of this med and I will probably have to throw out a 6 month supply. This is wasteful and very distressing. Not a lot of money...but each dollar counts. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to use. When KMart closed I chose this one because I am old and didn't want to drive far to pick up my 5 different meds. Have tried numerous times to have the prescriptions filled on the same day. So that I had to only make one trip to the store. Obviously these people failed the training sessions! Tried to get info today on the shingles shot and Guess what? they had No idea what it would cost or when they would have it. The head person is unfriendly and gives the appearance of one that doesn't care much about clients or helping others. I regret having to give this type of report.....but it is true and there needs to be a thorough retraining of the upper staff! This is the worst walgreens pharmacy i have even been to. The last 3 (and only) times i have gotten my prescriptions filled here i have spent at least 30 minutes in line. There has only been 1 car in front of me in the drive thru each time. The worst service imaginable!!! If you have other options (even if it cost more) do it! Not worth the hassle of dealing with these people. read more
