I only give them one star bc they did actually fill one of my sons 4 prescriptions. Their clock on their wall in the pharmacy said 655pm. I was in line. The guy ahead of me was an employee and cut me off in the aisle to get in front of me. Said they are closed, it closes at 7. I point to the clock on their wall that shows it is not 7 yet and he throws up his phone that read 659. Lady at the counter, let's call her Barbara, well bc that is the name on her scrubs, was the rudest person I have ever met in my life! She absolutely does not need to be in customer service! She Screamed at me that they were closed and would not help me. I had to plead my case bc my son has a tooth infection and his mouth was so swollen (see pic) I needed to start mediation immediately or it could end up more serious. The dentist can't take him for 4 more days bc of Memorial Day weekend. I was desperate. She then proceeded to tell me it wasn't even ready, even though I already got a text 20 mins prior that 2 of 4 were ready and the antibiotic was one of them. Another nicer lady comes up and says you have 2 ready, I said ok, I don't even have to go through insurance, whatever is quicker, I just need those 2 (other one was lidocaine to numb his mouth). When all is said and done they brought me one and said I can get the rest tomorrow. Ok, at least I can start his antibiotic, whatever. She Told me the price and I pulled out cash and Barbara basically yells at the other girl, you can't take cash on that register!! Ok, calm down, here is my debit card, I don't care, I just need to get this medication. So even though the other one was ready, per the text they sent me, they still would not give it to me. My son is in so much pain. I literally got in the car as soon as they texted me it was ready. Worst customer service ever. If I could, I would have them transfer the other 3, I dread going back in there tomorrow!! Barbara, if you are reading this, get out of customer service NOW! You do not belong there and here's the thing, most of the time, it's not what you say, it's how you say it and all I am saying is take a customer Service class or find a different profession. Walgreens just lost my business forever. All because of them not knowing how to set their clocks correctly and bc of one person behind the counter that does not know how to talk to people. I understand there's a shortage of workers, because they had to close at 5pm for a while because of it. But this place was awful before that. Now that they're open till 9 again, guess what? This is my go-to place for photos and prescriptions. Of course, there are other places I can get these things done, but I feel that it is very easy to go in and out. However, the four stars are due to the wait time for the prescription pick-up line. On average, one will wait at least 30 mins for six cars. This may be due to a lack of staff because of COVID. I am not sure and therefore do not feel they should receive fewer stars when this may be out of their control. As far as the staff goes, they have always been excellent, both kind and courteous. read more

Worst business I have ever been with. Took them over a week to fill life substantial medications. I had to go to the ER for temps because no one does their job. I e been in the drive through for 45 mins. There is only 3 cars in front of me. The refuse to transfer my medications to HEB. And to top it off every person o have talked to is uneducated, extremely rude, without a concern they they are handing out medication to SICK people who don't need a crappy attitude. I had a 10:15 a.m. appointment to receive a flu shot. Because I was running errands, I arrived about 9:30 a.m. at the pharmacy with only one customer ahead of me. I had a bit of a wait on that customer, then received and filled out my paperwork. At 10:17 a.m. I had to run to my car because it had automatically shut off with my husband and dog inside - a great need for A/C. When I got back inside, I was asked to again fill out the paperwork that I had already completed and she was holding. About 10:30, I got my shot. There was an apology for the mix up because they thought I was waiting for a prescription. Duh! While waiting I was exposed to unmasked customers for an hour. I don't find this store very frendly or accommodating. They were going to give us a call about when the meds were ready. There was mixup on the meds. So, I kept calling back to see I if they were corrected and filled. For three days they were not but they kept saying they would call. I had to call back each time. Finally, on the fourth day of calling they said yes, they were ready. But when I got there, and waited for 15 minutes, they were still mixed up. They were very busy and very short handed and the pharmacist had to approve every purchase. But the ladies at the pharmacy were nice and apologetic. Not so with this se answering the phone. Anyway, Walgreens needs a better system for their pharmacy and the floor personnel need to be friendly and helpful. I miss CVS in Harker Heights!!!! read more

The pharmacy @this location *Harker Heights has the worse customer service! Drive thru is so slow (very frustrating) I waited almost 45 mins..then the person who was working at the window was incompetent. I walked inside and the person inside helping me could not find my prescription, i waited again approx. 15-20 mins...They don't always call you when med or F/u when they don't have your prescription available . They closed the pharmacy for more than 3 days due to computer problem they did not even call to let you know. I had to go there and the cashier inside was not helpful at all, and I ran out of the med ended going another Walgreen pharmacy and again waited cause they again had to order my prescription. read more

Irritated because I had my meds sent specifically to this Walgreens but when I get there they tell me that they sent my most important meds to another Walgreens across town and will give me the ones they have in-stock. Then they write on the medicine bag that the "customer was called to be notified" however I check my call log and voicemail and didn't have anything from the store. They wrote it to cover their butts because they could tell I was pissed I wasn't notified that my meds were sent across town. I have never had issues with Walgreens before. I've always picked up meds from there and have always printed my pictures. However, today I went to pick up a picture order of my daughters school pictures. I've printed professional photos many times there and have never needed to show the copyright so I didn't bring a copy with me. The lady that was working the photo lab asked me for the copy right and I told her I didn't have a copy but that I could pull it up on my phone. When it finally pulled up , she then decided to tell me I needed a printed copy. She was very rude the whole time and seemed like I was just another pain in her butt for the day. She then got a manager who got another manager who said I could print a copy of it but that they would charge me. At this point I was so upset I told them to forget it and that I would go elsewhere. I will NEVER print my pictures here and I will be switching my prescriptions over as well thanks to HORRIBLE customer service. read more
