My husband was purchasing medication at the pharmacy, as he was walking through the store, he decided to stop for shampoo and extra hair ties. As he was browsing the isle, a woman walked behind him and said "this is lost prevention, you better pay for your items". PROFILING MUCH??????? Instead of loss prevention doing their actual job and watching people, to see if they are truly stealing, this woman decided to walk up to my husband to MAKE HIM FEEL LIKE SHIT, she wanted to use the little bit of power she holds at her job.What a sad woman. This was Saturday, Feb 6 in the morning. We are not coming back! I can see why they are so poorly rated. Prepare yourself accordingly if you are contacting the Walgreens located at 400 Hialeah Drive. I have been trying to reach someone to answer my call for 2 days in regards to a pharmacy refill which happens to be of high importance. I can't seem to get one human being. They leave the calls on hold forever as if none has a thing to do, and then simply disconnect you. Seems like their employees are not interested in actually working for their income! The walgreens is open 24 hours!! Pharmacy hours are 8am-10 pm. That's a big plus for me seeing as we can't always control when we can pick up our medications due to work or personal obligations. The staff is attentive and helpful. read more

Unreliable and low quality service. I made an appt for 3:30 to get the COVID vaccine at this location. When I arrived the pharmacy was completely closed and there was no explanation or communication, no signage or anything. In fact the only signage posted indicated pharmacy hours end at 9pm... When I asked staff what was going on they just said "Yeah the pharmacy's closed. You can go to another Walgreens." Maybe Walgreens as a corporation is too big to have awareness over one of their pharmacies being closed at least 6 hours early (if it ever even opened) or they don't care how many customers' time they wasted. I would also strongly advise you avoid COVID testing at this location as well. The lab this location partners with for testing is very disorganized and you will likely wait 3-4 days for a PCR result. This pharmacy has demonstrated itself to be unreliable and poorly run, which is unacceptable for a medical service. There are plenty of other Walgreens stores out there that operate just fine, so I would absolutely avoid this location. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service at this Walgreens. Typically all Walgreens are pretty average, but this one is above that. The girl who attended me was not only super nice, but she helped me locate products and even made sure that I took advantage of a sale. The Pharmacy staff is overwhelmed and end up being rude. I've called several times to follow-up on a consultation with the pharmacist regarding a cardiac medication. I wait in the queue for over 10 minutes. Someone picks up and places the call on hold. I hold for 15 minutes. Someone picks up the call and hangs up. This happened 3 times this evening. The last time, it rang until past closing time, and I gave up. Customer SERVICE is lost on this store. read more

Terrible experience! There was only one customer paying at the register in the makeup area. My husband and I waited about 10 minutes there where the worker Robert Gonzalez never once acknowledged us - no greeting or even eye contact while he kept talking away with the customer about "girls that get surgeries on their bodies." I got impatient so I asked Robert if he can ring us up. Robert immediately said he is not a cashier there. We then tell him he's charging the woman and then again he shuts us down with saying he only deals with beauty, when in fact I had beauty items. We told Robert we have beauty items and then he said he will charge us but he's not supposed too and that he had no idea we needed to pay. That was when my husband told him how can he not know if we've been standing right behind the lady waiting the whole time. Robert then threw our things back on the counter and told us to go pay at the front. I asked for the manager and he said his manager is not there. I went to go make the other line and paid. That's when I asked the cashier for the manager and she said they are there. The manager Jose came out and wasn't even apologetic, he told us Robert explained himself and basically sided with him saying beauty register is set up different. When again, we had plenty beauty items. There should be better customer service training to employees. read more

This location needs a massive face lift. The store is always disorganized and the staff isn't very helpful. Clearly they have a shortage of employees and need better management. Try to avoid this location and go somewhere else if possible. read more

I just called to ask a question. The person who answered didn't speak any English and did not understand me. When I asked if there was anyone there speaking English, she said: "No, thank you!" and hung up. I need to say that I am not a bigot or racist but do believe that anyone employed in the US service industry should have a basic, rudimentary, minimal command of English. Great location and well stocked. Has all you expect from drugstore. In close proximity of the port.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens should seriously be closed down, if you can not attend your customers at the counter at a timely manner going through the drive threw is even worse. I have had to sit 40 minutes waiting to be attended by the window. It is extremely unnecessary and a waste of the customers time. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. For the third time in 2 months they tried to give me someone else's prescription. After the first time, I spoke to the pharmacist about their lack of proper procedure. He assured he he would fix the problem. I love the pharmacist here and in the cvs near by. Every other Walgreens and cvs in Hialeah the pharmacist have dreadful personalities. Here the pharmacist and techs are very nice helpful and are actually smiling. I come here a lot... I've never had a problem and the cashiers are very friendly. read more

I am writing to tell you about my terrible experience with the pharmacy staff Rosa the pharmacy manager and also the store manager were both extremely rude to me i have 2 prescriptions one for myself and one for my son victor i am pregnant and supposed to be on bed rest so about 2 weeks ago i sent my husband to pick up my prescription at this store where he was rudely told that if he did not have my insurance card they could not verify insurance nobody bothered to search the system or make a courtesy call to my insurance to get the bin# Group# ... so a whole week passes and i end up back at the hospital because i have no meds thanks to the incompetence and lack of customer service at his Walgreens i stayed at the hospital 1 whole week i got released and went directly from the hospital to another Walgreen's where my prescription was processed immediately with no problem and no insurance card what i am trying to understand is why one store can easily process my prescription and another store cant at this store that i am complaining about there are a lot more staff and not 1 person in that pharmacy was able to help even the store manager was completely lost and was very rude defensive and unable to help. now the second problem my sons rx on Friday my husband went again to the same pharmacy and dropped off in person my sons prescription the pharmacist said it was at another walgreens location and that there was nothing she could do my husband asked to have the rx transferred because this one is closer to him 1 day passes 2 days pass and we keep going back to pick up his rx only to have the pharmacist tell us the same thing it is at the other walgreens so today on the third day of having left our sons prescription at this pharmacy we find out @our other trusty walgreens location that is rx had never been filled by the other walgreens i am complaining about so now i am furious because not only are they playing with my life and my unborn childs life but also my 2 year old sons health . Also while i was there they were treating all the senior citizens the same way telling them if you don't have the insurance card we can't help you and most of them leaving very visibly upset .now this is the worse part so you see how disorganized and lost everyone at that pharmacy is they did something illegal i got mad they were not hlping me so i asked for my prescription back to fill at another walgreens and instead they gave me another one of my family members prescription back that had already been filled and picked up instead of giving me my sons rx back so not only did they give me another persons prescription but the pharmacist at our other store told me it was illegal for them to give back a prescription that has already been filled nd that also the prescription did not have a stamp that they are supposed to place on the rx paper once a prescription has been fulfilled ... This pharmacy needs to be shut down every single employee is rude and lost the other walgreens location resolved this 2 week long problem for me in 5 minutes by making one phone call to verify insurance with out us even having to ask them at the Hialeah location and placing this complaint on both my husband and i asked them to call the insurance multiple times and they refused until i spoke to the assistant store manager and he made Rosa the pharmacy manager call my insurance and still she was not able to resolve anything she said once again if you don't have the insurance card i can't help you i will not be using Walgreen's anymore due to this terrible experience and the rude and defensive behavior of the store manager rosa even rolled her eyes at me when asked by the store manager to call my insurance and due to their illegal practices and the address always gets printed wrong on my rx so i don't even feel safe consuming what is inside the bottle what if they are giving me an rx of someone who has the same name but dif address read more

I just had the worst experience at this walgreens. First of all I was I'm a lot of pain. A lot of pain, as I am going through a miscarriage at home. This process is extremely painful as it feels like your body is going through labor and all you can push out is blood. Sorry. I say that because my trip to walgreens was an emergency I had gone through all my supplies including pain medication and had to leave urgently to buy some. Walgreens was the closest most convenient place. I gather all 3 of my items fairly quickly and the very few open registers have a long wait except cosmetics. I'm standing waiting patiently but clearly in a lot of pain as sweat beads in my forehead. A pharmacist on break intents to cut everyone in line just because she works there. The lady in front of me must have had a good 25 items and she wants to pay for them separately. The first payment had some type of problem that it was taking a very long time. I kindly ask her if she would mind letting me pay for my only three items as I explain to her my painful situation . Very rudely and without sympathy the lady catches an attitude and yells some obscene things to me and the lady behind the register. She grabs all her things off the counter and throws them and gathers them all again to moves to wait at another register. The lady is then scanning my items saying some very nasty things to me and telling me how can I dare do that' and that I have no idea the problem I just caused her. I left crying in pain and very upset because I was being so kind and I needed some help and sympathy. I found myself in my car outside for 15 because the pain wouldn't even let me move or drive away. It really was a disappointing and discouraging experience. I will never be returning there again. read more
