I have made numerous calls, visits, to get my med, always given a slightly different story. I finally called this morning and asked them to transfer the script, and was told it'd be done immediately. Got on the CVS app this evening, and noticed the script was PUT ON HOLD, NOT transferred. so, I called the pharmacy. FINALLY got someone to transfer it to another CVS, but was told I was triggering the employee. WHAT does she think CVS is doing to me by basically just not filling my script??? An added insult is the pharmacy refused to call other CVS's to see if they could get the med from another store, they told me to do it myself. WTH? SO done with this store (this has happened in the past with other prescriptions, particularly for my dog's cancer meds.) They obviously do not care about the customer! i would have given this NO stars, except the whiny person I spoke to tonight FINALLY transferred my script as asked. If you need a med (especially if it is a not widely available med), do NOT use this location, you are better off driving an hour to a reputable pharmacy.

Because of my previous insurance, I had been using Walgreens, up to this point (with no problems) So I was quite surprised when one of the ladies working there, told the lady that was starting to fill my prescription, "wait, don't fill that prescription!" I did not understand at first, but she was handing me back my prescription, and telling me that I would have to go elsewhere. I haven't been here in a few years since moving, but Susan and the girls behind the counter really know how to make you feel welcome. Susan(the Pharmacist) knows everyone by name and you never feel rushed to get in or out. You can simply drop off your script and browse the store while your meds are being filled, or even prepared by this compounding pharmacy. This store is not only just a pharmacy, but it also is part book store, part card store, and part gift store. It's like a one stop shop. I love it! They don't have a drive through lane and there's almost always a wait at the pharmacy, but the associates are generally friendly and try to stay organized. I am surprised they're staying open with the Publix purchase. Most other local businesses have already relocated to new locations, but -- from what I read last -- this CVS is immune. I signed in at the computer and it told me it wasn't ready. I clicked I would wait at the store for it to be ready. I waited about 15 minutes and they called my name over the loudspeaker. I went up and stood in line. A pharmacy technician (maybe it was the pharmacist, I really am not sure) looked at me and told me to check in. I told her I already had and they called my name. She then proceeded to berate me and yell at me that I had to check in again because the screen erased my information. I was so confused. I began to cry. I went over and re-checked in. There were two other customers being waited on. I turned my back to wipe the tears from my eyes and the same person, Melissa is her name, yelled at me, "Well are you ready". I turned around still crying and thought to myself, why is she waiting on me. I got my medicine and told her to have a nice day. She rudely told me the same. At that point I was walking away and told her I used to work for CVS and was going to give her a bad review. Melissa screamed at me across the entire store, "I don't care." This is not how you treat people whether they are sick or not. I am a kind person. I wasn't rude or deserving of such cruelty. I reported all this to their corporate offices. He waited about five minutes before the photo area employee even acknowledged him. When she finally did, he explained he wanted to print pictures from his phone, and her response was, "You're a big boy, you can figure it out." Is this what passes for customer service now? I'm completely disgusted. He didn't get her name, but it should be easy to find out since it was early in the morning. I'll be spreading the word about this blatant disregard for helping someone. It makes me question why she's even working there if she lacks the basic customer service skills needed to interact with people daily. I hope she's reprimanded, as I doubt this was the first time she's refused to assist a customer. Gloucester has lost my business for good, and I'll make sure others know about their lack of customer service.
