Unfortunately this Walgreens is still struggling big time. Called on Friday to refill prescription and I was told that it would be ready on Saturday after 11. Came on Sunday morning and after waiting 15 minutes, they claimed the medication was out of stock. When I questioned the fact that I was told it would be available on Saturday, after 11, I was told to wait again. They then told me there was a glitch in the system and the pharmacist would start working on it now. It's now been over 30 minutes and I'm still waiting. While making an exchange today I was left with weird feelings about my experience. Prior to covid I purchased a Walgreens brand cool mist humidifier for $44.99. They've been selling this model humidifier for 5+ years and I have actually got it on sale in the past for around $35. It is a great product and this is the third one I've owned. The past two lasted over 2 years each. I called a few weeks ago and explained my situation to the manager. I had just purchased my most recent humidifier in February or March and stopped working after just two weeks of use. Due to covid I haven't been able to make the exchange and that is why I called to see what their policy was. I explained I had no box or receipt and it was a purchased within the past couple months. She said that as long that I have purchased it with my Walgreens card to come on in and exchange. Tonight when trying to exchange it seemed like no issue. The cashier called the manager. The manager seemed like everything was cool. I wished her a nice day and complimented her twists. She had left the cashier to finish the exchange. I went to grab the item and the cashier needed to call the manager back over again for an override. She told me that she was going the exchange as a courtesy and that any other time I wouldn't be able to make an exchange this late. I told her that I wasn't sure and that's why I called. She asked me what I thought was fair as if what I was doing wasn't. I would like to respond... I think it's fair that you clearly let customers know your policy. If I was going against your policy in some way you should have told me you couldn't do it and charge me for a new one. I would have no problem calling the manufacturer and finding what's wrong with the product after only using it a few times but since your manager told me over the phone that I could make the exchange I popped in. I don't think it's fair that you want to give me a hard time for an exchange that you clearly were able to make. I was trying to trade in the product for money. I don't think it's fair to the company that your making exchanges you shouldn't be and asking asinine questions and providing horrible customer service while doing it. Cashiers were great. Visited the doctor and they sent them here electronically, so I has to pick them up. I went during the lunch hour and everyone had the same idea I did of picking them up at this time. Had to wait in line for over 6 minutes but was given stellar service by the cashier. Need maybe more cashiers in the pharmacy because the drive thru was busy too. As always the candy section of the store was fully stocked with all that yummy chocolate that we all crave. This Walgreens has a great selection of holiday swag as well for the next holiday coming up , bunny day. read more

We used the photo print app to upload and print to a nearby Walgreens. The app was easy to use and we were notified when it was ready for pickup. When we got to the photo center, there was no one present. There was a button to press and the intercom came on to tell the employees that we were waiting. After 10 mins, we pressed the button again and waited another 5 mins or so until someone came on the intercom saying there were people waiting. Someone finally came over and the transaction was quick and easy. The only downsize was having to wait for someone to come. We will probably use another location in the future. read more

I've been coming to this Walgreens for years. I think 10+ years to be exact. The main thing I'm going to say is: please hire more of a pharmacy staff. I haven't waited less than an hour for my medications in such a long time. Chris at the pharmacy is always super nice and kind and you can see his effort but the other pharmacy staff is rude and you can tell that they do not want to be here working. I need to revise this review. I come here once a month to pick up my prescription. Last month, and then again today, I was given someone else's prescription. I repeat, I was given someone else's prescription, not once, but TWICE!!!! You know how dangerous that is?!? Both times I've driven away and then noticed it was the wrong name on the bag. It's not my job to double check the information!!! It was the same tech who did it too!! We got the Halloween pix dad ordered online & my sisters dog was cut out alone w/ my bro n laws Storm Trooper head. The very kind lady in photo tried to readjust it from her end, but it didn't work. Pharmacist Dr. Randy did a stellar job utilizing confrontation deescalation skills to handle an irate customer. After reading Yelp reviews, it is clear that there are some opportunities with this particular location. I hope WAG has enough integrity to investigate and train all employees how to run an efficient pharmacy while providing excellent care for the customers. Personally, I have no issues with this location but I can recognize that Dr. Randy's calm demeanor and focused approach with an incredibly disrespectful and disruptive customer indicates that he is surely an asset to Walgreen's. The other staff handled the situation as best they could, nothing critical of them. I received my first dose of the vaccine today and the pharmacist (very kind woman from Ukraine) was lovely and remained calm as well, which was much appreciated! Then Im at the register asking about the BOGO on the feminine care products and Oliver had an attitude saying his phone says no their is not one when the whole isle for feminine care has the BOGO signs. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. Looking at the other reviews you can clearly see that I am not the only one. I don't have health insurance so I have to go to the doctor only once a year and pay cash. I get my prescription refilled for one year. I went all the way home out of state to get my year prescription in September of this year. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy. Here's where the problem started. The pharmacy started refilling my prescription under and old expired prescription and asking for refills every month from the doctor's office. After several months of this the doctor denied another refill and wrote a note to the pharmacy saying I had to come back in. I was never alerted of this or notified of this. I know this because the pharmacy tech showed me the hand written note today that she said I wasn't suppose to see and I'm not allowed to keep even though it's my medical record and has all my information on it. The year's prescription I just got in September was voided out by the doctor's office because the pharmacy kept asking for refills on the old prescription- even though I didn't ask them to do that and has just gotten a new prescription!!!! I can't afford to go to the doctor for a new prescription every time the pharmacy screws up the one I have just to straighten it out. I literally spent HOURS today trying to fix this, going to the pharmacy 3x and calling, ect. The people working at this pharmacy are not accountable at all and it's really unbelievable that they can just do whatever they want. This just goes to show you that the people that don't have insurance continue to suffer in this country, and in this case by lack of attention to their job at this pharmacy. read more

Visiting the Walgreens pharmacy at this location is consistently one of the worst experiences every month. There is always a long line (which is mostly out of their control so they get a pass on that). At least every other time there is an issue. One month they couldn't get ahold of my doctor (even though my doctor never received any calls or emails from them). No matter what there is an issue. Today was the final straw. They have been out of stock of the one prescription I have for about a week. Their messaging system only works about half the time so I decided to go check in person if they had stock. I asked and the gentleman behind the counter told me they were out of stock. I asked if they could transfer. He didn't know so he asked the pharmacist. She gave me an irritated loon and said, "no idea". I then asked if they could transfer it somewhere in stock. With the same look she said, "no". Unfamiliar with the process of prescriptions I stood there confused. Eventually she said, "your doctor has to do it". If today was a one-off unique experience I wouldn't mind. But it's consistently every month. It's also almost never an issue with anyone but the pharmacists. They are typically rude and unhelpful. Non-pharmacists at the pharmacy desk tend to be helpful. I have now transferred pharmacies so I will unfortunately not know and be unable to update this post if they get new pharmacists. Also, they do have one good pharmacist but I forgot her name. It's not whoever was just now work though. I'll try and check if I'm ever in the Walgreens getting a Gatorade or something. On that note, the rest of the Walgreens is great! read more

The easiest process ever! Made an appointment online, and the site responded with a confirmation and an attached application to print and fill out from home. I went to an urgent care yesterday. The urgent care called in 3 prescriptions for me and tells me to give the pharmacy an hour to fill them, which is reasonable. My relative went to pick it up the prescriptions and they were told they had no prescriptions to fill for me, I called the urgent care they told me the prescriptions had been called in, but they would call them again. I called the pharmacy at 4:30 and was told none of my prescriptions would be ready until the next day. I explained that I needed these medications. The employee transferred me to the dispensing pharmacy. The phone there rang 50+ times and then hung up. So you go to an urgent care extremely sick and give this pharmacy four hours and they can't fill your prescriptions. I had to get another pharmacy to fill these prescriptions. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again!!! read more

I always come to this Walgreens for a lot of my basic needs. I even have this Walgreens set as my pharmacy. I personally have never had any issues at the pharmacy, and the longest I've ever had to wait in line was maybe 5 min. The parking lot is pretty big, but it can definitely get busy at this Walgreens. The staff has always been extremely helpful, especially Jean in cosmetics. I was looking for a particular shade of lipstick one day and she made sure to order some for my next visit. She also keeps an eye on the front counter and encourages customers to check out with her to speed up the line. They always seem to be mostly well stocked on all items. I have never used the photo area, but after reading some of the reviews, I will be sure to give it a try sometime. read more

My wife and I arrived at Walgreens on Silverado Ranch Blvd. and began shopping. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by Brandon who was the cashier closest to the door. He was greeting everyone that entered. After shopping for a few minutes, I saw a man and a woman enter the store with NO MASKS ON. They walked right by me. I immediately went to Brandon and asked him if he was allowing people into the store with no masks. I thought perhaps he was busy and didn't notice them. NO, I was wrong. His response made me very upset. Brandon told me that he was instructed by the store manager that he should not ask people to put on a mask if the come into the store without one. I asked him the manager's name that told him this. He told me her name is Rebecca and that she is there during the day. I told Brandon that there is a county wide mandate in place to wear masks in public places and that its unsafe for people to be in the store without them. He didn't seem to be concerned and said he was following orders from Rebecca. I am most disappointed in Walgreen's for allowing such a practice during a pandemic when Clark County, Nevada has strict mandates in place regarding the wearing of masks by everyone. I also find it ironic that Walgreen's is offering Covid-19 shots at the same store they allow people into that don't follow local government mandates to prevent the transmission of this deadly virus. Shame on Walgreen's for allowing an unsafe environment for their employees and customers by not following local mandates. I also wonder if these UNSAFE POLICIES are specific to Rebecca's location(Silverado Ranch) or if they are ordered from the corporate office? read more
