Every time I have visited the Main Street location in Manchester CT there has been a dog in there. It's not a support or seeing eye dog, no special collar or vest; just small dogs walking on a leash or in its owners arms. It's not the same dog, but a different one every time. I don't understand why dogs are being allowed in the store. Last time the dog was barking at everyone that walked by. It was extremely alarming and anxiety inducing. Not only is it dangerous and inappropriate but also extremely unsanitary, especially when they pee on the floor. This kind of behavior is extremely appalling. I have been bit by dogs in the past for just walking past them and am very allergic to them as well. It is a drugstore not a doggy daycare. I'm wondering if I should be finding myself a new pharmacy. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever visited. Between the customer service and the pharmacy staff, please get your scripts filled somewhere else to save yourself the headache. They don't give you correct information over the phone, and the pharmacists here bottled up my son's antibiotic incorrectly and it wasn't closed properly leading it to leak. I have been trying fill a prescription for a week now and everytime I go here after waiting in line for 45 minutes plus at times, they give me and my family an attitude. They refused me and two of my family members our prescription saying our insurance isn't valid. Our insurance told us to give them a number to call and they refused to stating they already called and left a message with somebody. Completely fed up! I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for over 6 years. I have always been happy with their service until today. Today I went to pick up my sons scripts, and went through the drive through. The woman helping me named Joy, was very rude, she had an attitude, literally like she couldn't be bothered. When I asked certain questions regarding my insurance she said I had to come in and someone else would help me. I have been able to have people clear up stuff with my insurance in the drive through in the past. It was literally like she just couldn't be bothered to help a costumer, which I thought was her job. Serious lack of communication and dishonesty at pharmacy. The girl tells me i dont have to fill out check to pay for prescription, and that it will automatically bill account from swiping acct/routing # from check. So obviously i said "i will fill out the check anyways" and she looks at me like im stupid. Then she swipes the check and hands it back to me...she handed it back to me...you might want to mention that youll give the check back to the customer, if you had i wouldnt have bothered to fill it out. Learn how to communicate. Earlier that week the same girl takes down the mucinex d and charges me 30$ i said thats too expensive and she offers no solution. The correct solution would be to inform the customer of the 2 other sizes the same product offers that are drastically cheaper. But shes a dishonest person with no communication skills who thinks pharmaceutical work is for her. So i left with no meds. Later that week i went back and the man offered me each size without even asking, because he was honest. read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. It's enough some of the people who freqeunt this location are sketchy, but the cashier that I usually get (an older overweight gentleman of southeast asian decent) is often rude and impatient with me. One time he blurted out that the store wouldn't accept my coupons without even looking at them and attempted to embarass me in front of the entire line of waiting customers. Great pharmacy! Much better than the service you get at Cvs or rite aid. Most of the staff knows my name which is nice. They can get busy at times but they work hard there. They need more cashiers ion the front though. The line is too long sometimes. read more
