People are coming in sick all time you would think they would be a lot cleaner sadly they are not. You might need a shot just to visit this place. They should really clean it up.

The star rating at three (3) is due to the inconsistency of being consistent? I live quite close to…read morethis Walgreens, & when first moved to "the island" as some seem to enjoy referring to (Merritt Island) I do not, & that's a review not to be included here, but mentioning as I moved from Suntree, and LOVED the Walgreens there on 7780 N Wickham was amazing, the cashier's were fabulous, small professional extras that made that a favorite and created devoted customers, others that were either closer to Rockledge or further downstream towards King Center went out of their "zone", drove a bit further, decidedly well worth it. So? When I moved & Walgreens was close? I figured it had to be close to as professionally adept as Wickham right? Well? Kinda... Walgreens on Sykes Creek Parkway is useally fully stocked, rarely at a loss to find a product looking for, quite clean, and generally set up as its other stores, used to shopping in one? Should not be totally lost in others.. The pharmacy closes rather early? Which was both surprising and disappointing (the sister store on Wickham Rd I referred to prior was open till?? Very convenient) but as I now know early closing in Merritt Island is the norm for ALL stores on Island for some bizarre reason, only exception is Walmart & we won't go there now.. but the entire store would shut down VERY early about a year ago, now they have extended the pharmacy hours till 9:00 PM, and the store portion at 10:00 PM. There is a very helpful gentleman that works all areas of the store, and VERY helpful if you encounter in the photo department, or if you can find him to assist if your looking for a specific something & don't feel like trolling around on your own.. he knows all things Walgreens in MI, down to knowing what batteries can be used in place of others? Yes, true & happened to me, but he solved in mere minutes w substitutions and THEY WORKED!! Yea Mr Wonderful Walgreens employee of fabulous talent! But he's only one man... His ability to solve the unsolvable? Without his presence? The staffing there is sorely lacking.. quite pleasant in their "Welcome to Walgreens" greeting, several seem irritated by your entrance, most definitely so if it's close to closing, looking to expedite the ability to be out as quickly as the glares seem to merit, any question posed, the stare seems to go from irritated, to blank, & nothing is said, just go off to find whatever needed to quickly return to front? You thought checkout was next? No.. a startled expression and a grab of intercom with a "Code 21 at front"?? As would seem that some shining star in charge of scheduling seems to most EVERYTIME in the past few months, decided to place a cashier on the front & most used checkout whom is well under the age to sell anything they need to card you on, but no one thought to think? If the person RUNNING the register can't by it? They can't sell either, but there they are, waiting for the calvary to rescue the coded call for help.. Lines get longer, customers patience becomes shorter, and the not old enough "to even touch" (as I was told by one of these little wonders) the product of issue wiggles around twirling a hair strand.... Now I understand that in a pinch perhaps putting little ones on the front register because your short staffed, the one that has to answer the code call has to attend a meeting, or if the manager de'jour has to quickly staff with older because that's the reason "underage" is ON the frontline? But most definitely not any of those excuses anymore? It just seems to be a mistake that management enjoys repeating, if for no other reason than the idea that when that code is called, the ones whom are to respond have nothing other to be doing, will rush right up to save the child & the disgruntled customers will be mesmerized by the call to code & dissipate prior ill will? Should not the ones whom are clearly the best choice be assigned to? Therefore allowing no code wait, customer displeasure, and the little ones could be off stocking an isle? Or whatever the code responders are doing when said code goes into alert.. honestly I have rarely witnessed such poor managerial decision, and that is why I chose less stars than what I have.. it's a consistent error that becomes tiresome in its repetitive mode of choice, being yet a constant reminder that the cliche of "if it's not broken? Don't fix it?" Somehow now confused with the alternate..someone needs to find some glue.

First of all, let me start by saying I can't remember the ladies name, but I did speak to her, and…read moreshe was from the same area that I was from Atco, New Jersey. But this store right here just saved my life because I was going on a cruise. And I had misplaced a medicine that I really needed. I called the CVS that was close to our Airbnb and we have figured out a way to go ahead and refill the medicine and which if it wasn't for then my cruise would've been a horrible experience. I love the CVS. I'm not from this area but I will say this is a good place to be. They treated me like family. They were very honest with me and that's what I like about them, so if you ever get the Florida and you this area and you lose your medicine or your medicine go to the CVS thank you so much.

They would call me and the medications would be ready and waiting for me at the time they said it would be ready. Staff in the front of the store and in the pharmacy were always friendly, smiling, said hello or some nice greeting. People seemed to enjoy their jobs. Over the last two years, service has been spotty. I have begun to just use the drive-thru. Certain pharmacy staff act like they are forced to be there and to serve you. Instead of a smile, you are often greeted with a big sigh as they shuffle slowly to the counter. They say the words, but there is no feeling of any sincerity behind the words. Now, my meds are not on automatic scheduling and the excuse is, "the system is old and sometimes just plain broken." I have a regular medication that is renewed monthly through CVScaremark pharmacy and every month it is not in stock and needs to be specially ordered. It is just not the pleasant professional experience it used to be. I pick up medications at the Wal-Mart pharmacy for a woman I take care of and they are dramatically more professional in their customer service and explanations. I don't know what happened, but it is just not the same as it used to be.
