I have lived in Brickell since 2005 and this is honestly the worst pharmacy service I have experienced in over 20 years. Unless you are picking up something simple like aspirin, filling prescriptions here is extremely frustrating. If a medication is not immediately available, you are told to call every day to check if it is in stock - sometimes even multiple times per day - or to come in person. When you call, the phone system repeatedly says "Pharmacy - please hold." I have waited over 11 minutes on hold, only for the call to be disconnected. This has happened more than once. Please do yourself a favor - and pick up your medications in a different pharmacy! Coz this one - will screw you over... sadly.. Amen! read more

This is honestly one of the worst Walgreens locations I've ever experienced, especially the pharmacy. Every time I go in person, the wait is anywhere from 20 minutes to over 2 hours. Trying to reach the pharmacy by phone is essentially impossible. I recently spent nearly three hours trying to get through, and my doctor's office gave up after waiting on hold for 45 minutes. I understand pharmacies are busy, but this level of service is simply unacceptable. If you rely on timely prescriptions or need to speak with a pharmacist, I would strongly recommend using another location. read more

I was visiting Miami from CA and was so pleased with my pharmacy experience. They transferred an emergency prescription from my home Walgreens and filled it in such a fast and friendly manner. 1 star for their 24-7 pharmacy. That's huge. Getting there is a bit of a challenge with traffic. The triangle parking lot a bit of a nightmare. The pharmacy staff, while well staffed, seemed very inefficient. Perhaps the main checkout lady was having a very bad horrible no good day. The line piled up. She didn't know basic crusher functions. I had to tell her my credit card scanned and point to the receipt. Others were getting more red in the face. I believe this location would benefit from some additional technology and training. read more

The staff in the Walgreens is great, but the pharmacy line is too long. The pharmacy is understaffed and they work very hard to ensure that they help all customers so it is a shame. I got a decent bottle of wine for a reasonable price, I believe Alamos malbec. My favorite item was the ginger shot. I wanted something natural for my immune system while traveling. I had a very negative experience with Walgreens. When I tried to fill an urgent prescription, I found out they are no longer part of my new insurance network -- something I didn't know. I asked them to transfer the prescription to CVS, but they never did. After waiting without any updates and still unable to get my medication, I had to contact the urgent care clinic again so they could send the prescription directly to CVS. The whole situation was needlessly complicated, stressful, and even dangerous. In moments when health shouldn't be delayed, the level of disorganization and lack of follow-through from Walgreens was unacceptable. I will not be trusting their services again. read more

Waited in line 20+ minutes to drop off prescription. They told me they had the medicine in stock and to come back in 2 hours. I went back 2.5 hours later, stood in line 15+ minutes and they told me it wasn't ready. It is now hour 4 and I'm waiting. Waiting. Waiting. What a cluster. Avoid. UPDATE: after 3.75 I stood in line AGAIN and this time was told they don't have the drug! If you're truly desperate enough to come here to pick up a prescription, don't trust them when they tell you they'll text you when it's ready - they're just trying to get you to go away. read more

The Pharmacist at this location (alex) helped me out with an issue today and it was much appreciated. 24 hour pharmacies are not supposed to be good, and honestly this one probably is not, but the care I received today was very helpful and late on a Sunday. I use Primatene Mist but the Walgreens I usually get it from has hired such lazy employees that don't speak English my son had to go there twice today to get anyone to get me one! He went and was told in spanglish if it's not on the shelf they don't have it. So I went online for that store it said yes they did have it, so I had to call and finally get someone to call the actual store from the automated system. After being on hold 4 times, someone finally answered in English and said they did have it. I actually had to tell them to put it at the front register so my son could go back and finally buy it. Horrible service. The Pharmacy night shift does not help you at all. They answer the phone and put you on hold for eternity. I was on hold for 2 hours because I have Covid and need my medicine. Called back several times and they answer "pharmacy please hold" before you get a word in you're on hold. It's sad because having a 24 hour pharmacy is a blessing but they don't help you. I am 20+ mins into the sixth phone call and after all the wait a dude called Alejandro comes on the line, terrible attitude, and informs me that he is missing ingredients to make the compound prescription. When I inform him that I did pick up the prescription from them before, he changes the story and tells me me that he doesn't really know how to make the prescription. Not sure what to respond I ask to talk to his manager to understand what is happening, at this stage he tells me he is the boss. Every avenue I try to take to pay them $60 to get a simple prescription ends up in NO. Why did they not call my doctor if they had trouble filling the prescription? You guessed right, he could not answer that either. Two days in, several hours and six phone calls wasted on this location, I am calling the doctor myself and asking them to delete walgreens and suggest another pharmacy. I came to this Walgreens directly from urgent care with an open wound from a dog bite. I was told my medications would be ready in 30 min. I have now been here for over an hour to pick up 1 antibiotic. The customer service is beyond atrocious - there is a line out the door while 6 people are visibly hanging out in the back office and the cashier is incredibly rude and dismissive. Klide assisted me in taking a passport picture. She took 3 and even fixed my hair (it has to be all tucked behind your ears for passport) and I just picked the least ugly one of the 3. Everyone hates their passport picture and I do too every single time but the service was excellent and fast. I paid $16.04 for two photos. read more

It's like the twilight zone you will be waiting here for an hour even with just one person ahead of you in the line. There's usually only one person working for a line that goes down the nearby aisles and the service is impossibly slow. The pharmacist punches in one word into his keyboard every couple seconds and will disappear into the back room for minutes on end even for a simple prescription pick up. And god help you if you have any insurance mistake or some issue because you will inadvertently hold up the entire line for about 20 minutes. Absolutely go anywhere else than this Walgreens to get your medication. Your experience here will be very similar to the DMV, trust me, stay away. read more

I have rode up on my bike to the drive thru for 4 years. I have to come to the drive thru early in the morning or the middle of the night. Today they won't serve me from my bike at drive thru after being told one hour earlier my scrip wasn't ready and come back in an hour. So after waiting in line outside I was told o had to come inside. Then I got to wait in that line. my review here is mixed because the pharmacy is actually quick, efficient, pleasant and willing to help. the store employees here could actually care less and get annoyed if you ask for their assistance. god forbid you're persistent about them helping you find something, then the attitude comes full throttle. If you are an an employee of a business and a customer is seeking assistance, waving your hand at an aisle and running away is not doing the job you're employed and PAID to do. After spending 10 minutes searching for saltines for my sick boyfriend who couldn't stomach to keep any food down, I followed up with the employee who said "well then we don't have it"... well can you even check? what is your problem. now for the pharmacy. the technician went above and beyond. there was something wrong where my boyfriends new insurance wasn't processing and the medication was over $200 - she tried over and over to correct the issue with insurance and although we couldn't, I was grateful for her trying. we ended up paying out of pocket but she applied a discount which was helpful in easing the *painful* cost. she also helped me locate the saltines the other employee was to lazy to help look for. They were out of stock but I was appreciative of her willingness to check. She went out of her way to suggest nearby CVS that were open (it was midnight) and how to get there - truly went above and beyond. my three star would've been a 1 had it not been for the pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens in doral is the best. I went into the pharmacy to pick out some medicine because i was in extreme pain. However, i had no idea what to get so i spoke to pharmacy worker named Carlos, i explained my situation and he was super helpful and patient with me. Futhermore, he helped me pick out the best medicine for me and he even gave me tips on how to avoid getting this pain again and told me how many times to take the medicine. Overal, an amazing experience 10/10 i would come here again whenever i need medication. read more
