If I could give zero stars, I would. The 931 S Saginaw Walgreens pharmacy is rude, unprofessional, and careless. My daughter (18) waited over 40 minutes while Wendy dismissed her insurance, made a joke about "going home to take a nap," and then admitted the prescription was never even ordered. When we returned, she ignored us, embarrassed us in front of other customers, and loudly argued instead of helping. Even worse, she shouted another customer's prescriptions across the pharmacy--a serious HIPAA violation. We've moved everything to the N Saginaw Walgreens, where staff are respectful and professional. Save yourself the frustration and go there instead. read more

I was not going to leave a review but the Walgreens commercial that just aired about the human element is not the experience I have seen while using the pharmacy on N. SAGINAW RD. in Midland MI. On numerous occassions I have observed inconsiderate, rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful behavior towards the people there to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy staff. I observed lack of patience with an elderly person that did not understand why their prescription wasnt covered by insurance and rather than trying to explain or look into it the elderly person was told to call their insurance company. Another elderly man was told his prescription would not be ready for 4 days and he was out today and need to refill it today. He was told no, no offer was given to refill it later in the day until his wife said they would just go to Meijers to have it filled. The wife asked to please cancel the refills for his meds and the pharmacy staff, after they left, proceeded to cancel every single one of the prescriptions, and delete them all, instead of helping the next person in line. I undertand they are overwhelmed with the amount of people that they now have to serve, but this was not our choice, and the need for meds to be filled in a timely manner, offers to get answers about copays, insurance, etc. should be an expectation of the services provided considering the amount of money spent on prescriptions and the amount of time people are spending in a line just to get their meds. If you have an elderly person, go with them, and advocate for better treatment. read more

Very Rude and Racists! Not only one time, but FEW times. I tried to ask about the kind of generics they stock for medications I have prescriptions for, from my physicians who ask me which pharmacy I would like to send my prescribed med to! I have to know what generics each pharmacy stock, before the office send in my prescriptions as I have kidney failure, bowel and colon resection that make me very sensitive to inactive ingredients to certain generics and I have to stick to the ones that I already know. Walgreens always refuse to give me any information about anything. They are always rude to me whenever I ask them this question and treat me like an ALIEN who speaks JEBRISH. It's either they are very unprofessional or very racists as I am not a privileged white. Will NEVER recommend. read more

Terrible customer service! They don't have prescriptions in stock. Took four days to get my daughter's prescription. I called several times. Was finally told it would be ready in 20 min. I waited an hour went in and it was STILL not ready. I will never go back to this location. read more

Horrible "shift lead" just refused a coupon from me that was a manufacturers coupon and said because it said redeemable at CVS on it that it couldn't be used. I used another coupon just like it at the other Walgreens in town with the manager yesterday. Puffed up with his "shift lead" importance said that they probably didn't notice it. I didn't make up this coupon game they did, if they don't like it get out of business but if you continue treating your customers this way he won't be around long. read more

I had a GREAT experience with the pharmacy today. I drove straight there from Urgent Care (3minute drive). At the window I said that I would be shocked if you had my rx ready already. She checked, said that they just received it (electronically), but could probably have it ready in 10 minutes. I don't think it was even two full minutes! Great/fast service and this was NOT an emergency drug that I needed. read more

Switched all my prescriptions from Meijers to Walgreens because I travel quite a bit and Meijers is not a national chain. The Dr had written all my prescriptions as 90 day supplies. Walgreens filled the prescriptions, and on their own, cut them all back to 30 day supplies without talking to me or informing me. I was surprised when I came home and found this when I opened the pouches the prescriptions came in. I called the pharmacy to ask why they did not talk to me on this before just doing it and the claimed it had to do with insurance coverage. No apology - nothing. No - it has to do with talking with your customer. Yes I do have a choice of pharmacies and very disappointed in Walgreens and how they handled this - actually PO'd is more appropriate because now they have wasted my time. read more
