This is the experience I had with Walgreens Store #09798 (4855 Commercial Dr, New Hartford, NY 13413). I stopped in while traveling to pick up a few supplements and I'm glad I chose this location. The service was genuinely excellent. Aly (shift lead) and Justin (manager-in-training) were professional, patient, and proactive from start to finish. I was trying to figure out how to use my Walgreens Cash rewards, and they walked me through it step-by-step with zero attitude, even though it required extra verification and a couple extra taps on the register. Despite limited staffing at the front, they kept everything moving smoothly and stayed calm the whole time. It felt very old-school in the best way, disciplined, competent, and well-run like a good operational military team. Shout-out to Aly and Justin for solid, capable service. For the last 6-8 months my prescriptions that I get every month are either on back order or have half scripts available.... And THATS HALF THE PROBLEM!!!! When a script is due to be refilled they never have it ready until I am out of meds up to 7 days past the due date which means I go without my meds!!! I need my blood pressure meds and not having them when I NEED them increases my blood pressure!!! I'm sure they don't want me to have a medical emergency due to their inept service!!! Get with the fucking program Walgreens!! And stop with the bullshit excuses!! And it's not just this particular store!! I've heard the same things from other stores in the area complaining about the same issue!! This is unacceptable!!!! read more

This place is so incredibly slow. They are also rude. It shouldn't be that hard to fill a prescription. Take your medication needs some place else. read more

The store is disgusting looking, the tile floors are all stained with dirt, there are cracks in several of them. The toilet walls are slimy looking by the sink and it just looks completely unsanitary for a place with a pharmacy. The staff acts friendly enough, but it's just an act, you can tell that most of them don't want to be there, and that interacting with the customers is a burden to them. When asking for help, or directions to a product, most of them sigh and point in a general direction rather than actually assisting you. If given the choice of stores to go to, this would NOT be one of them. read more
