Walgreens on NE Miami Gardens Drive. I just went in there, there were 4 customers including me, and 4 employees as far as I could see. This is a bad review and an unnecessary bad one because ... well you make up your own minds. I had to return something and purchase a replacement. The replacement was under lock and key. The pharmacy staff instantly paged at my request stating assistance needed on aisle 31, bring the key. About 30 seconds, the only male employee there at 11:19am passed me in the aisle. He said nothing, did nothing. I waited 5 minutes more then I went looking for someone. At this time, I am now the only customer in the store. 2 aisles down, I found the same male and a female employee leaned over a cart watching their cell phones. I asked if any of them could help and stated what I needed. The female immediately said no she does not have a key and she cannot help that I must go to the pharmacy department. I told her I did that originally and the pharmacy paged for assistance and no one has come yet. The male employee then takes out a bunch of keys out of his pocket and gives it to her. She looks at me and says oh you need something? I said to her yes, she says come and show me . He meanwhile scurried down the aisle that I caught them on looking at their cell phones. We got to the item I needed and in that bunch of keys, she went directly to the necessary key, opened it and handed me what I needed. It was that easy. Isn't that the worst customer service? The store was totally empty. Wasn't it easier as you passed me in the aisle to open the thing and give me what I needed and then go look at your phone? And when you're caught instead of saying coming right now or something like that, you're about to lie and tell me to go to the pharmacy when you know you're standing beside the man with the key in his pocket. Does that make him the manager? Is this how a manager behaves? Shame on you, Walgreens read more

I was actually doing door dash when I came in this store. I've been here twice before and this time was probably the last. I needed two items and I'm not even surprised they didn't have one of the items. As usual many items out of stock in this store, one poor girl working the register, one guy there to help her when the line gets backed up. He is the reason why I won't be back. The girl was helping an old woman with a return and the line backed up. The guy comes to open another register and helps the only white guy in the back of the line. Completely ignoring the three black people (myself and a black couple) who had been patiently waiting in line. And then he walked away leaving us to wait even longer. This was unacceptable so I spoke up loudly and asked her was he going to help her and he came back. I was upset, but more for the poor young girl at the register who clearly needed help and couldn't speak up for herself and will probably continue to be taken advantage of there. I will not be visiting this Walgreens again. Especially when there's another as near as Biscayne blvd. read more

This Walgreens has the best employees working at their pharmacy. Twice I had transferred a prescription from another Walgreens pharmacy to this one and couldn't be more satisfied. Got vaccinated at this location. Both times I had an appointment. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment just like they said and still I waited for way too long. The first time I waited an hour and the second time I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The pharmacy doesn't seem busy and there are 3 other people working in the pharmacy besides the pharmacist. Won't be going back to this pharmacy again. read more

I was trying to figure out something about the coupon system which is very complicated because you have coupons on your paper and you also have a coupon book at the store and then you have other coupons I guess online, I was questioning the attentive clerk how the whole coupon process worked some lady named Natalie who claimed to be the manager came to the line and started speaking to me rudely about the coupon system, She couldn't even explain herself but made me and others in the line feel uncomfortable because I had held up a 3 to 4 ppl line. I ended up taking items out of my purchase because of her lack of concern. What she should have done is open a new line and help the clerk that was there get the customers out the door and maybe come back to me and explain nicely why was it that I couldn't find the correct coupon. I'm sorry but I feel she needs to be re-trained or atleast not consider someone with no people skills to hold a position like management. You are across the street from my home but I will pick another location after this incident. Sad but true! read more
