My husband and I came to this location, and got our booster shots for Covid and it was a very quick process. Everyone in the pharmacy dept was really nice. The store is clean and also stocked up with medicine and etc that you will need daily. We will be back soon. read more

Please, please, for the love of god, I beg you, go to literally ANY OTHER PHARMACY for your prescriptions. This applies to all Walgreens, but especially to this location. I am constantly given incorrect information about medications that I need in order to function, and whenever I try to give any feedback, the employees have such a bad attitude that I genuinely wonder if they knew they were going to be providing customer service before they decided to take this job. No boss I have ever had would allow me to behave the way they do in front of a customer. Today I did something that is quite rare for me - I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. Before I could even get to the reason why I was displeased, ***OLIVIA*** interrupted me in the middle of my sentence to claim (inaccurately, and in a particularly arrogant and patronizing tone) that she had said something completely different to me that morning. Which was all the more unprofessional, because she was not part of the conversation to begin with, and if I am asking to give feedback to your manager, the least you could be expected to do as an employee is to allow that feedback to be heard. This is not something that only *I* have an issue with. It is a common theme in all the online reviews that have been posted in the past several years, and it's something I've experienced at multiple Walgreens locations. No other pharmacy I go to struggles this much to tell me accurately whether they have a medication in stock and a general estimate of when it will be ready, because that is one of the most simple and essential functions of a pharmacy employee. But at Walgreens, they will tell you whatever answer they think gets you out of their hair fastest, then when you come back and find out that they lied to you, they will act like you're expecting a Herculean feat of advanced pharmacology instead of simple accurate information. And if you have any issue with their attitudes, apparently they'll interrupt you before you can even complain to cover their own butts. Medications are not something frivolous, they are important things that people put into their bodies every day in order to live healthy and productive lives. Honesty, common sense, and human decency should be the bare minimum. And no business should treat their customers like an inconvenience, but it is especially egregious when a pharmacy does so. I got my prescriptions from Walgreens for the first 29 years of my life, and I never will again for as long as I live. And after today's experience - the final straw, if you will - I will never spend another penny at Walgreens for any household items either. I'm not sure if the management is too incompetent to oversee and correct these issues, or if they simply don't care. Either way, it's an abject embarrassment. read more

Still getting better here , needed help and the employee that helped was very nice and suggested a better option and the pharmacist here is very nice and addresses any concerns about the medication and even has called to see if everything went ok , no more cvs for me read more

Every month they always mess up and give my elderly mother hell about her monthly prescriptions. Then they continue to constantly lie about the price even though she's on disability insurance. She never gets them refilled in time like they should be and the pharmacy techs and pharmacist have always been very rude to her when she calls them. Why, because she asks simple questions that you all don't want to bother with answering. I'm talking her into changing pharmacies so this week will be her last week of dealing with these BS ppl. read more

If I could give zero stars for this pharmacy I would. I'm a very sick woman and have a feeding tube. I have to take all my medications via feeding tube. I had a female pharmacist mess up my anti nausea meds that I take for gastroparesis. Instead of giving me anti nausea meds she has been giving me cough syrup. This is gross negligence and I will be pursuing legal action. Even if I have to sue her directly. This woman has been overdosing me on very high doses of cough syrup that has a similar name. I even called about the color being off several times and they kept reassuring that it was indeed the correct prescription. I could have died and now I'm going to have to go a severe withdrawal while I wait for this medicine to leave my system fully. This woman should be fired and barred from working as a pharmacist before she kills someone. She could have killed me. There were several opportunities for them to catch this gross negligence and they didn't. I switch all of my prescriptions to Walmart and they found the error day 1 of transferring my medications over. This is absolutely insane. I have been so sick for months I can barely get out of bed and we couldn't figure out why. Now I know it's because of the grave error. I'm so sick right now. I'm already facing extreme health complications and this negligent pharmacist almost killed me. Let's see what happens to .y body over the next couple weeks as I withdrawal. I'm absolutely mortified and again will be pursuing legal action to the fullest extent. This is gross negligence. Don't EVER use this pharmacy. This pharmacist is going to end up killing someone. read more

I gave this FedEx drop off location a second chance today but the employee that works there in the mornings confirmed my suspicions. She hates her life and her job and anyone that disturbs her in the mornings with a package to simply drop off. read more

I went to get a COVID test for my daughter, pre-registered her for a rapid test and they couldn't find paperwork first and then had the wrong test to be used on the paperwork. Told me I would have to reschedule. Have also recently screwed up 3 separate prescriptions and refused to fill one of them. read more

When I transferred my prescriptions from the Osco in Lemont to the Walgreens in Ottawa, IL they immediately changed my 30 day prescriptions to 90 day refills without notice. Then, when I recently got out of the hospital, the ER doctor called in a prescription for a bladder spasm medicine but he only wanted me to take it for 30 days. When Walgreens received the prescription they tried to upsell it to a 90 refill. They put my prescription on hold and sent the doctor a request to fill it for 90 days. When the doctor refused, the just dropped my prescription and pretended they never got the order. I have text messages from them, telling me that my prescription was delayed. When I went there to pick it up, they played stupid. So, now I'll go elsewhere. No points for you, Walgreens! read more

Q. You know whats worse than Walgreens with slightly higher than averaged prices? A. How about a jacked up photo lab in a Walgreens that prints out pictures with to much magenta saturation. What wrong with this you might ask? Is that really a big deal? Let me explain issues this might cause. Does your Baby have Blond hair not any more thanks to walgreens over saturation, bam now she is strawberry red! Not all Walgreens are like this I can drive to Peru and the lab there is just fine, My self and several others have brought this to the attention of the staff and Manager, the most we have had done is another set run off that look exactly the same they have never adjusted the printer settings. How the lab stays open is beyond me, I suppose some people just don't notice or pay attention, but it's a service that is paid for and it should be given at the best of their ability. read more

Worst customer service i have experienced. I called to check on the status of my father's pain meds, ordered by hospice, and was told they were in process, would be a half hour to 45 min. I showed up an hour later, they were closed! Due to potential riots...at 4 pm. They couldn't have told me that when I called? Showed up the next day, meds still weren't ready. REALLY??? PAIN MEDS FOR A DYING MAN! Unconscionable. read more

I give up trying to use this place. For a while I thought they were better due to some new staff but it is back to the same issues. I called in a refill Friday via automated teller & was told it would be ready Friday. I attempt to pick it up Monday only to be told they have nothing for me & that the script is a "no refill." The staff member said they do NOT check the automated messages about when the med will be ready or if there is a refill issue, so they do not call people when there is an issue. What the hell? So, Walgreens gives you automated service but does not follow through on the service. I Cannot tell you how many trips I have made to this Walgreens because of this ridiculous issue. Wasted time & gas. I strongly suggest you go else where. Fyi: I live in joliet and just called them to figure out what to do. Because they are human, they found a remaining refill for me on a different script number, which ottawa Walgreens did not even bother to do. It makes me wonder what qualifications the ottawa branch requires to work there... read more

What a crumby place. (Pharmacy) the pharmacist hates his job, hated customers and just is an angry person in general. Can't fill scripts correctly, and the women who work there are crotchety at best. They all think they are god. Including the pharmacist. They won't fill Rx as written by dr, and assume people who are getting a controlled substance somehow are there to scam them. You can't call Corporate, the pharmacist is in charge! Nobody cares at Deerfield anyway. I tried to call them and all they did was refer me back to the pharmacist! Thanks but no thanks. I just don't understand how this place stays in business! And why anyone from corporate doesn't read these things. Guess they don't care. The pharmacist even got snippy with me at the drive thru, wouldn't come face To face to talk to me, picked up a remote phone and chewed me out. What a coward, what crappy customer service. By the way, I have seen them on 3 occasions treat people like dirt. (Not just me, elderly folks too). CVS across the street can't be built quick enough!!!! read more
