He was a little helpful but not that much. The young Asian woman was sort of helpful but seemed pretty unsure of herself. Lastly asked the other lady who works here a question. She said "can you ask the pharmacist?" What, really? You work here and are perfectly capable of asking the pharmacist on my behalf but you dont bother helping me? Why the heck am I still coming here? Tbeir obviously not that qualified. If you never have a question about your meds or want to answer questions they might ask you about your medication than this is the place for you!

I always have an excellent shopping experience at this particular CVS location…read more The shelves are always abundantly stocked and they are never out of stock on any of the products that I am looking to buy. The sales staff working on the sales floor are always knowledgeable and willing to help customers locate products or provide helpful suggestions. The front end staff is always very pleasant and the checkout process goes smoothly. There is also a self checkout option at this location and the self checkout machines are always in good working order. The parking lot is huge so finding a parking spot is never a problem. It is also well lit at night. I would definitely say that this is my preferred CVS location. I highly recommend this location to others and I know for sure that I will be back.

As others have noted here, this js a very small CVS. I've used two much larger ones recently (easier to schedule immunizations per my schedule) and found each of them with bare shelves in some aisles and very thinly staffed. I believe CVS as a whole is under pressure and being challenged to succeed.

They carry a good variety of health and beauty aids, groceries, medications and so forth. They usually have plenty of staff working so there's always somebody there to help if you need assistance while you're shopping. There is a spacious parking lot outside and parking here is never a problem. The store is usually pretty busy especially during the daytime hours but the cashiers are very efficient and the checkout line always moves right along.

In my experience, it's impossible from the big chains. Skendarian is one of the rare places that can not only create custom topical/transdermal medications, but do it exceptionally well. My Boston vet had directed me to an out-of-state pharmacy to make a topical version of the steroid my cat could not tolerate in liquid form. It would have taken at least five business days for me to get the meds, even paying for express shipping. I remembered that Skendarian can compound medications on site. I called them. They had the prescription cream it ready the same day they received the prescription! I'm embarrassed to write that this is not the first time Skendarian came through for our household when no other pharmacy could. The experience reminded me how critical it is to patronize local pharmacies for every day needs. CVS or Walgreens would not have done for me at all what Skendarian was able to do in ONE DAY. I wish I lived in Cambridge rather than Boston so I could do all my drugstore shopping there. They are the best. Seriously.

Also, I'm not sure if it's intentional, but they always don't have enough stocks of normal meds (Epi pen, clobetasol ointments) so patients will fill it elsewhere, which make it less work for them. I called other CVS and Stop and Shop, these meds are their staples. I'm planning to transfer all my scripts and my family's meds to Stop and Shop. The phone system also suck, you can't talk to anyone and has to leave a message even for urgent needs, that pharmacist told me they will call back in an hour. I hate talking to her.
