This is one of my go-to Walgreens locations. It's a bit out of my way as are my other two favorite…read morestores but all three are worth the drive. This is a larger store and it's a jumpin' joint, it's always busy. (It's also a 24 hour store but I have no idea if it's busy at 4 AM, I never tried going there at that time.) There are lots of selections available for brand names, private label, and generics for OTC and even for 'scripts. There are also large selections of general merchandise, greeting cards, gift cards, and enough candy choices to keep every dentist in Washington County busy for years. There's something new here that I've never seen before. The cooler doors are not glass, they are large format LED screens that rotate displays, from advertising to contents of the cooler to showing what products are on the racks when you open the door. The products are animated and some dance to try to attract your attention. Yikes, what's next? On my last visit, I went to the pharmacy for an injection and to find an equivalent OTC product to one I bought in Alabama a year ago. The pharmacist dropped what he was doing and went out to the shelves to bring back the equivalent Walgreens product. Kudos to him because I am not a chemist and I can't make head nor tail of the ingredient lists on those boxes. My injection was prepared quickly although I had to wait for the RN because they were very busy with Covid19 vaccinations. (Mine wasn't Covid19, that's already been taken care of.) If you live in central Washington County, you can count on this Walgreens to take care of you - 24 hours a day.

I love Lotza Motzas pizzas and they were over 8 bucks. At my local store they are 7. At another store they are 5 each. Other stuff was over expensive than my local store. What they have on sale tho is awesome. They had a bag of potatoes for 1.00. Stores is very clean. Great location. Clerks at the check out were nice and kind. What I don't like is they can't find people who want to work so only 3 check outs were open and all self check out. So spend a hour looking for your things, then u have to spend 15 minutes in like to check out or do u'r own check u out which can be an issue if u can't get things to scan and so on. This was after the third time in line because they kept telling me I did not have any prescriptions, when my doctor said I had 2. I tried to explain what my doctor was telling me and just kept getting yelled at. Called corporate yesterday to complain, they took my notes. Got a call from the Waupun pharmay manager who told me I was wrong, is technitions were right, they didn't yell at me, and I swore multiple times at them. The manager then told me it was best to find a different pharmacy, did not appoloigize for his staff yelling at me.

I called them the next morning and asked to have the prescription transferred to a Walgreens closer to my home. She said I'd have to call them to initiate a transfer but she'd cancel the order filled there. Apparently she cancelled the entire order because after spending several hours of my day on the phone, traveling to the nearest Walgreens I found out that neither of the stores was able to help me. More phone calls to the ER, more time waiting and waiting in Walgreens. This is ridiculous. I will not trust the Waupun Walgreens pharmacy ever again. Absolutely the worst service. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
