The older lady who is the pharmacy technician is unnecessarily rude. She is particularly more rude to people of color. Her nasty demeanor is totally uncalled for. I understand that pharmacy jobs are not well-paying and can be stressful but please find another job if you hate your job. People waiting in line for a prescription surrounded by sick people waiting for prescriptions don't need the vitriol and snark. Everyone in line was patient and spoke nicely to this person but she was just mean and snotty to every customer. I am moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy immediately. I've had it with dealing with the rude people at this pharmacy. I am also reporting this behavior to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. There is no excuse for berating customers asking legitimate questions and patiently waiting for a prescription that your app and push notifications said was ready. read more

Always staff missing. Takes forever to get someone to help with picking up pictures and checking out. When visited last time girl at the checkout was rude and didn't want to help me with my account. Manager was called over and would not price match their own website. Get your products literally anywhere else. This review is for this one lady in the pharmacy, I don't know her name but she sounds older. I pulled up with my son there was no line and I pressed the call for service button. She asked how can I help you? As I was saying I'm there to pick up prescription supplies she immediately cut me off and said somebody will be with you in an irritated tone and hung up. My 9 yr old son in the back was like, "Mommy why is she like that why did she cut you off?" Enough said, please get rid of rude customer staff Walgreens. Even kids know how to act better. Yesterday, I called to get a prescription fill around 4:20 & the person that answered my call did not seem happy. She is scream & all around rude . It wasn't the pharmacist because I asked a question about my presentation & she had to asked someone else . Just an advice if your employees are having a bad day send them home & if they continue being rude just fire them because the customers don't need to take anybody's bad days behavior. read more

Even though there have been times they are super busy the staff has been friendly! The girl in cosmetics is very knowledgeable and is always a big help. She doesn't try to sell you something you don't want or need. I like that a lot! read more

Full disclosure: I haven't had a prescription filled here (yet), so I can't comment on that. Most of the haterade for this location seems to stem from the pharmacy. That being said, I'm a pretty big fan of this Walgreens. Why? Well, it's big. It's new. Has a big ole card & candy selection. Employees are helpful & seem nice. There's a RedBox. A drive thru pharmacy. There's a nice cosmetics section - well organized, displayed and stocked. Hopefully I don't experience the seventh circle of hell that is bad pharmacy. DUMBEST PHARMACY EVER! I will go in 2 days after I ask my perscription (which I have had for 8 years) to be renewed, giving them 2 extra days to get it right, and they will tell me my medication isn't even in stock at the store! This has happened not once, not twice, but THREE times in a row! The woman told me it is because my medication is uncommon. Really? Eight years and they don't realize I'll be back every month??? They are lazy and won't call doctors if they need to. Instead, they will flat out do nothing with your order, won't even tell you, and won't you be surprised when your perscription isn't ready. Bottom line, there is no excuse to not have a medication in stock 2 days AFTER it is supposed to be ready. If it happens one more time, I'm switching to Jewel across the street. I don't think there is anything any pharmacy can do to be worse than Walgreens. read more

This Walgreens makes getting prescriptions much more complicated than it needs to be. Having worked as a pharmacy tech for 20 years at no point would I have ever suggested that a patient pay cash and submit to the insurance on their own. It is the pharmacy's job to obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies as soon as it is rejected. Thank goodness I am my elderly mother's advocate. Don't understand why Walgreens puts you through a process to sign up to be a member in order to get the vaccine and have you go through a very lengthy process only to say everything is booked. The pharmacy at this Walgreens is awful. Slow. Poorly run, poorly managed. I routinely drop prescriptions and am told the wait is an hour and it's not ready on time. Today I dropped at 10:30 and was told it will be "about an hour". Okay no problem. It's 3:23. By my math that's nearly 5 hours later. My prescription isn't ready, it will be another 30 minutes. Then asked if I'd like to pick up the waiting 2 scripts then come back for the 3rd. No - the script I need is the one guy haven't filled. This is ROUTINE for this location and the reason I left them 3 years ago. Only reason I returned is Blue Cross dropped Cvs and I was forced back to Walgreens this year. Time to change to a new location and hope for better management. read more

This pharmacy told me that my prescription would be out of stock for 2 months and then 1 week later it just magically showed up out of know. When I got it filled it was the wrong amount and they didn't say anything about it, and then gave me wrong information about the next time I could fill it. read more

I used the kiosk to get some pictures developed and set up a pick up time for 8am the next morning. This is not a 24-hour Walgreens, so they open at 8am on Thursdays. I arrived at 8am, and sat outside with about 4 other employees and five other customers, and we all waited for the manager to arrive and unlock the door. I watched a pharmacist call this manager a couple times and each call went to voice mail. The pictures I was picking up were for work, and I needed them that day. I finally had to give up waiting and had to head to work because I was going to be late. The management here needs a lot of work if they can't even show up on time. read more

Walgreens...you had me at the nail polish display. This Walgreens is brand-spanking new and I dig it. Walgreens love to tear down their own buildings and build new ones all the time...as long as they have one on each corner! I think there are 3 or 4 Walgreens on Roselle Rd. within a .5 mile stretch, crazy. This one is pretty cool though. It has a very cold, sterile feel though which I actually like. It is a pharmacy after all so it should feel sterile and clean (unlike other chain pharmacies that have carpet...gag!). When you first walk in the first thing you see to the right is a fairly large nail polish display with tons of Essie. The display is light up so it is extremely hard to see the shades. I had to take the bottle of the display and turn away to see the actual color. The bottles are priced at $8 which is on the high end. I did notice that a lot of their pricing for makeup was a lot higher (saw the same products at Target the next day for considerably less). I don't normally purchase beauty supplies from Walgreens so maybe this is typical? I am a sucker for Essie and I still ended up picking up 3 new bottles! read more

I'm here frequently. I find the staff helpful, they have resolved any issues I've had. The pharmacy staff is pleasant but prescriptions are rarely ready when they say. The other day they said my prescription may take another hour I received a text about 6hours later. read more

This Walgreens is usually a late night quick stop when I'm driving from work to home... but have they save me many times! .. sometimes is milk or snacks and sometimes is an over the counter medicine, I've noticed the night shift people be niver and more relaxed than the day shift.. I have never had a prescription from here so I can not comment on that.. read more

A prescription that could have been loaded with problems was a smooth as it could possibly be. I am delighted with my experience today. I'm on the 31st day of a 30 day supply of a much needed pain prescription for 2 back surgeries and 1 more needed. There is no other information I'm not telling you. These are the facts. Pharmacy GAVE ME THE WRONG MEDS. Instead of apologizing, the man (Ron? Manager) told me that they cant get me MY prescription without ordering it, which would take "days". WHAT? Instead of letting me know, they happily and greedily took my money and handed me medicine that i dont need and that my doctor DOES NOT WANT ME TO TAKE. This is far from over, and i will be SURE to tell every person i meet not to go here and to get all their meds from Target or Jewel-Osco, which is across the street. I looked it up online and the FDA pulled this medication from the shelf as it worsened symptoms and caused seizures. When i told this to the man on the phone, he laughed at me and told me to "trust him" over the internet. I told him this was from the FDA and from my doctor. He will not order the correct product, and he doesnt find that he should alert the customer if they do not have the meds, instead he said i should "trust him". Seriously? I hate this man! read more

As I am trying to contact the store, I am on hold now for 40 minutes. (knowing from past experience not to expect an answer) I am staying on hold is to see if they ever in fact do answer the phone. Ironically the only song they are looping is by: "Brandy" - Song: "Best Friend" (1994). These are the lyrics (heavily edited by ?) : "Call me when you need, I'll be there for you, you can count on me, don't know what I'd ever do without you, best friend, hey hey hey". These are the only lyrics that plays and is looped over and over. That is hilarious, isn't it? Not. I know the original song has more lyrics than that. Now, the reason I was trying to call the store is because I was first trying to call the pharmacy, with very similar results. Hold for very very long periods of time and not able to get through at all! First they want to put you through the automated system, which when there is no reason to talk to a human, works ok, but I guess Walgreen's thinks we are robots too and will never have an important reason to speak to someone. - This is not the first time I have tried to get a human on the phone at this location. read more

Concerning the Web Pickup, I was very happy with my first (and so far only) experience. Bought a few things for Christmas presents this year through the web pickup and thought it was easy enough. I even ended up returning one of the items but had no problems. The customer service was decent enough. Nothing about my experience turned me off from this location and I just wanted to review the web pickup because I was hesitant at first myself. read more
