We were forced into Walgreens when Rite Aid closed and the service has been awful the entire time. I understand they probably doubled their pharmacy load, but Rite Aid used to have 2-4 employees working in the pharmacy and every time I am waiting at Walgreens, there are at least eight employees, so the workload should be covered. They will tell you a date your pills will be available, and if there is an issue, they are clueless and do not look into it or let you know until you reach out after the time has passed. Yet if your prescription is ready, be prepared for a phone call, text, and email daily until you pick it up. We went to pick up a refrigerated prescription which was in a bin at room temperature and the pharmacist said it was fine when the prescription specifically says to keep refrigerated. Also, the entire pharmacy closes at lunch time from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. You cannot drop anything off or ask a question. Not sure why, with so many people on staff, they cannot do a lunch break rotation like every other company in the world. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! DO NOT COME HERE! You will be made to wait days for important prescriptions that literally take only 10 minutes to fill. The pure laziness of the 5 pharmacy employees is shocking. Not sure what they are actually doing every day if not their work. They keep telling you to come later to pick up a prescription only for you to come later and it still not be ready. How many times can you do that to actually sick people? Do you really want them to keep coming back over and over again and coughing throughout the store? After finally complaining and making a fuss is when they tell you to wait 30 minutes and then having it ready in 10. Just close the pharmacy if you don't want to help people. read more

Every since Rite - Aid Closed on 12- Hoover People have transferred there prescription there at Walgreens. It's not Walgreens Pharmacy fault. They have a heavy load of Prescription to fill and even changed there hours. I have to wait longer due to more customers transferring Prescription there. If your HAPPY Please Go some were else. if I could give zero stars I would on 4/14 I was told I had Covid and my medication was sent to Walgreens so I go to Walgreens and they make me wait an hour for my medication and then they tried fighting me on my card not working due to their new card systems. They made me go inside just for my card to work in the end. I decided man after this encounter I'm going to transfer to the cvs they have WAY BETTER customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the world. They constantly tell my husband on the phone that his script is in stock, just to show up and they do not have it after promising it to him. Last month we went through the drive thru and after taking his name, date of birth, and payment, the tech handed him a script for someone else. It was not even his and was a controlled substance. This is beyond illegal and the pharmacist Mohammed just brushed it off like it was not a big deal, just a mistake. We will be reporting this and he should lose his license. They are incredibly incompetent, slow, and have no clue what they are doing! Stay far away! read more

After waiting for 15 minutes, someone FINALLY came to the window. She was running words together and talking to quiet to here over car engine. Then told me my script was only for 7 days instead of 30 days, took another 5 or 6 minutes to verify that. I was stuck there over 30 minutes. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! AND THEY DONT CALL YOU FOR PROBLEMS OR WHEN SCRIPTS ARE READY. If I could they would get NEGATIVE stars!!! read more

Pharmacy is a joke. Called to put a discount card on my drugs, and then was put on hold until someone else who know what they were doing could come and help, but after 20 minutes on hold (literally) i had to go back to work... every 4 minutes someone picked up, and put me back on hold... then someone else picked up and had no idea why i was on hold... then got put on hold again... LIKE REALLY????..... getting ALL of my scripts transferred to a pharmacy that might care about the patients a little bit! read more

i wish I could give this place a negative rating. the gentleman main pharmacist (if he's there any more) is very kind And helpful and there is one other woman who has been there a handful of years who is pleasant but anyone else has been horrible and so rude. the last 2 times have made me never want to return. the time before this there Was a line of cars we waited for well over 40 minutes in. When I pulled up I noticed the woman was starting to close up the pharmacy when there were 3 cars behind me. She took care of me and before I pulled away I made sure she knew the long wait and those 3 cars behind me had been here waiting majority of the time. She said ok - then as I drove away closed the pharmacy for the night. Today I had to return because my dr sent my script here on accident - same situation where I was in line for over 30 minutes, this time as I pulled up for my turn when there were 4 cars infront of me before my turn and 3 behind me, I watched the pharmacist walk out, and I'm assuming she was shopping in the store for over 10 minutes before returning never once even apologizing for the wait when she knew I watched her walk out. I just don't get it. I understand help Is tight andpeople are tired but it costs literally nothing to be a good and kind person, you never know what the person on the other side of that window is dealing with and they may be picking up medication that keeps them alive, so just be kind and Treat us how you would expect someone to treat your family if it was them picking up a prescriptio. read more

I've been going to this pharmacy for several years, I give this Walgreens five stars because of the exceptional service at the pharmacy . Mike, Mohammed, Darcy, Nicole and everyone else that works there are kind & friendly and have always looked out for my health and well-being. I've never waited for a prescription longer than 15 to 20 minutes, and I've never had any issues with any other staff they always greet me with a hello and a smile and a how are you today !! But again it's the pharmacy that keeps me coming back, I feel like they're a part of my family ! There are many other places in the area that could take some lessons in customer service from the fabulous people that work here, I recommend anyone go there and get to know the staff and you'll be treated like your family as well !!!! read more

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabtes a few years back, and this pharmacy has been so helpful. They're very sweet and take their time while on the phone with me. When i go inside to pick up they always make sure i have everything i need. I ran out of insulin a while back and my doctor was sending over my prescription but they gave me insulin to get by in the mean time. Very compassionate staff. read more

I went into Walgreens this morning w/ my 3 yr. old and 3 month yr. old to grab baby formula before work. I never take them to the store together because any parent of 2 or more can imagine its a handful. I placed my 3 month year old in the cart and had my 3 yr. old walk along side of me. He got excited to see a nerf toy they had in the store and started running towards it. As he turned around he tripped over my flip flop and fell to the floor. I immediately stopped everything picked him up and consoled him. The lady behind the counter stands up and yells OMGGGGGGG and yells for a manager. The manager runs up asks if he is ok and I said yes he just tripped over my shoe. This lady at the registered glared at me like I intentionally tripped my child. I walked up to the register I told her what happened and she ignored me . I've never been so disgusted and appalled by someone's actions . She was the rudest most foal women I've ever came into contact in my life. Everything inside of me wanted to tell her off but I held it together. I was so embarrassed on how she acted . I've been going to this Walgreens for years now and I'll never go back there. I'll be sure to tell my friends and family the same. As for that jerk lady I hope you get fired. read more
