Sweeping views of the Marmara Sea & Istanbul. Fantastic breezes, contemporary furniture of couches & a DJ spinning cool tunes; we all were swept away by the feel of this place. Hostess sat our group at a great spot overlooking Sea. They serve Ceviche, Tapas, Small Plates & a few desserts; plus, handcrafted cocktails. We had planned on just stopping by for a drink, but ended up watching the sun set and spending the rest of the evening here (we left around midnight, but they were open until 2am). Cocktails: I started with the Red Lips. This was a delicious treat of vodka, Prosecco, pomegranate? with a whipped egg white froth on top. Yum. (had a few of these) Food: all the items were good, but there wasn't anything I had that is a Must Have. The Yellow Fin & the Empanadas were the standouts for me. Yellow Fin Tail Ceviche Empanadas Grilled Rib Steak w/chimichurri & lime dressing Octopus Lamb Cons? Pricey. Cocktails (around $15) & Tapas were LA prices. Smoking. People smoke everywhere. Service was a bit slow, at times. Husband had ordered his martinis with olives, but they kept bringing them with lemons (he didn't mention it to staff). Closed Sunday nights. Food selection was limited to soup sandwiches, and dessert baked goods and cookies. Maybe because we arrived after dinner time? The spread also includes serve yourself alcohol, coffee machine, soda fountain. Entry fee varies. We got in free with Chase Reserve CC Priority Pass. I'll skip Comfort and HSBC next time and head straight to Primeclass Lounge downstairs.

As we have priority pass membership our lounge visits are free but usually the lounge costs at least $25. They have pretty good wifi and a good spread of food which includes a soup of the day, different sandwiches, fruits and drinks of all kind. I have been to many different lounges in different airports around the world but this one is starting to show its age. The furniture is getting old and the sofas are really uncomfortable plus they don't have enough charging outlets. So at some point the management of the lounge will have to update everything. The good part is that the Ataturk airport has lots of different options so if you don't feel satisfied with this one you can try other lounges which are within the same area of the terminal.

We came to the hotel straight from the airport and I don't know if the front desk person felt sorry for me or what but we got upgraded to a partial sea view room. Score! The room was spacious with a king sized bed, bathtub, small sitting area, and a view of the sea. The hotel is beautiful and is located near the Marmara Sea. The room we had was spacious and boasted the only bathtub out of all the hotels we stayed in during our vacation in Türkiye. We asked about the breakfast and it was 30 euro per person. We also asked where there were local shops to dine at nearby and someone told us to go down the street to the nearby strip mall to find sustenance. My husband forgot his razor and they were able to give us a small shaving kit. We also asked for ice and they brought us a champagne bucket of ice to our room. The hotel is pretty secure, as they screen all the cars coming onto the property as well as the guests walking into the lobby via bag screening and metal detectors. The staff was great at the Hyatt Regency and I would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.
