I've had about 2,000 dinners in my life and the one at Wallingford Homestead was squarely in the top 10. Truly memorable, innovative, fresh and balanced. Perfectly relaxed yet elegant environment and a friendly staff. We stayed two nights in the "Day Nursery" room and thoroughly enjoyed the view, the quiet and the two beautiful dogs in the yard. Breakfast included fresh baked sourdough and a picnic basket lunch was perfect for a day relaxing by the nearby beach. My only question is when Chris and Jeanette (the owners) have time to sleep.
