After the filter arrived, the guy made a remark about the size of the box and how wasteful it was...what he should have done was make sure my oil filter was tight. Made a 520 mile run the next day and parked it until today as I've been out of state on a business trip. Today I had to make a couple blocks run to the grocery store and on the return trip see an oil slick coming from my neighborhood...followed it right to my house. Look under and see oil leaking from underneath. I let it cool a bit and was able to get a half, almost three-quarter turn of the filter by hand.

When I went to pick it up, I was informed there was another leak somewhere, but due to being extremely busy, I'd have to bring it back in. I drove a few miles and realized I didn't feel safe driving it 30 miles home. I called back and Danny told me he could have it towed the next morning. My husband wanted to take a look before we did that. He decided I had a leaky radiator. I called Black's and they told me to bring it back. This was the afternoon before Thanksgiving, and the waiting area was full. In a couple of hours, I got a call saying I needed the radiator replaced. The parts were ordered, and I got a call Saturday saying I was ready to go. I was impressed, considering they were closed on Thursday and had to wait for the parts delivery on Friday. I found the staff friendly, understanding and efficient. I dealt with three employees. Black's came highly recommended from a friend who uses them regularly for his vehicles. He also routinely worked with Black's when he was a supplier. Another friend used them and was pleased with how he was treated. Great, friendly, respected business.

I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car.
