I was not greeted when I entered by the two sales ladies that were standing at the counter talking. One just looked my way and carried in the conversation about another woman loudly. I walked slowly around the entire store, perhaps 20 minutes of time elapsed. They conversed with each other the while time. I'm 40+ , looking for something that complimented my figure and didn't age me and I had questions and no knowledge of where to start. I left overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I am an approachable person, working class and was made to feel as if I didn't belong in the store. The worst customer service. I went home, and I shopped online. Not at reitmans sadly. Something that should have been a good experience that boosted my confidence and made me feel seen, resulted in disappointment.

When I went back to return things that didn't fit, I learned there are no refunds, only same day exchanges, with no option for store credit later. This was my third time returning items from the same purchase. Today I was also told they would not accept belts or even new, packaged socks for return. It feels a bit like a scam if I'm honest. Overall, the process has been too inconvenient, and frustrating and I will take my business to Talise.

My problem began when I was led over to a staff member that is clearly tasked with selling as many accessories as possible. For 15 minutes I was subjected to one of the most polished, high pressure, aggressive (think timeshare broker) attempts to up sell that I have ever experienced. Everything from shirts, socks and pocket puffs was pushed on me. "What do you mean you don't have a Christmas office party to go to?" was a memorable comment made to me. I'm a jeans and t shirt guy. I JUST WANTED A BLACK SUIT FOR MY MOTHER'S FUNERAL!!! Finally the guy that fitted me interrupted and took me to the cash register. He didn't apologize, but I could see it in his eyes. Afterwards I did contact Moores about this situation but never received a reply. Too bad for them. Three sons near high school graduation and needing formal wear. Perhaps future weddings. None of that business will go to Moores. As long as I draw breath on this earth I will never step foot in a Moores store. I would sooner pay double for the exact same suit anywhere else than do business with Moores again. If you are reading this I hope you do the same.

I told him I just needed a black suit for a funeral. If the transaction only involved him, I would not have had a problem. Unfortunately he takes me over to a table where a female was waiting. Her job is to watch what you pick off the rack and get tons of accessories ready for the attack. What happened next was one of the slickest high pressure sales pitches I have ever encountered. She had two shirts, a formal and more casual tie, poofs for the pockets, shoes, socks, tie pin and cuff links. After patiently saying no for 15mins and arguing with her that no, I really only wear a suit once every few years. I will not be returning to this location.

The mall has many stores that features technology, dental, food, clothing, athletic needs, and more. Landsdowne place is a hangout for teens and a great way of spending your day with your family and friends because the special thing about this mall is that it's a better experience when you are not alone. There are bus stops around the mall which grants you access to public transportation with ease so you can arrive to the mall, and return to your home or where your next stop is. The bike racks are available but there are not many but it's good enough. The service is great as there are security guards to help you out that walk around the mall to ensure that nothing bad is going on. The overall atmosphere is great as people are willing to help and the employees of different stores are friendly and also willing to assist you in any possible way. I would greatly recommend this to anybody who wants to come in a group or just a pair to enjoy and shop with no problems.

This was after them insisting I pay an extra $5 for "length" even though I requested SHORT ACRYLIC NAILS. I am just beyond floored. It's unfortunate Peterborough has 0 standards and no good salons.
