First, they know my name when I show up and they use it. My initial feeling is good. Second, they make sure that the meds are dosed properly. This week it was odd to the pharmacist that the medicine I had been prescribed by my doctor was half the normal dosage. He suggested that I call the doctor to verify, and, sure enough, he was correct. I needed to take two pills a day and not just one. Third, on a return visit one of the representatives asked if I was feeling better. Simply put, very nice customer service. We've used them for a long long time, we've stood in the lines, we've seen how busy they can be, and yet the current crew makes it all work. Thanks again Raley's, you've made my day.

My…read moreprescription has never been ready when they told me it was so I have to walk around the store until they fill it (apparently they don't fill your prescription until you're actually there). My most recent visit was the worst. I arrived at 6PM and even though it's supposed to be open until 8PM the manager yelled at me through the glass and said they were closed. I tried calling after that to check to see if it was ready. The first two times no one answered, but on the third try the manager said my prescriptions would be ready that Thursday. I waited until Friday to be sure and went in and waited in line for more than a half-hour. When I got to the counter, the manager said they hadn't filled them yet, per usual, and to stand next to an end cap for a half hour and wait for them. A half hour later he gave me one prescription and said they couldn't fill the other because they couldn't get it. I'm reasonably sure he was lying as he's lied about everything else. Even though I get my groceries at Smith's, I'm getting my prescriptions filled elsewhere from here on. Spending hours trying to get a prescription filled and being lied to constantly by the pharmacist in the process would be self-abuse if I kept doing it.

I worked retail for a long time so I understand things happen. The following day I come in for appointment and they said the tires are here but the paper was send to Carson city... just waiting for the manager to override this so we can help you.... I waited 1 hour and still no help... the older man said the manager knows but it busy. I waited another 30 minutes and still no answer.... I looked for the manager in the store and found her! I reminded her that the nice older man was waiting for her approval and there a line in the tire center- She was rude! She said it's not her priority and she'll get there when she does.... I told her he's been waiting for awhile and I said thank you my appointment was over an hour ago .... She was rude Again and said move out of the costumer service line. No " I'm sorry and I will help" no please set out of the line and I will get to you soon". Nothing! Just rude, nasty , older big woman barking orders . Shame !!! This lady needs to learn to desolate herself and the situation. She needs training on customer service. In my opinion she's too old and grumpy to be working anyway. As a wife of 43 yrs, a mom and friend of many people in the Sierras ... my health matters greatly to me. We tried 3 other pharmacies before finding Raleys, Emerald Bay. Jacob as the Pharmacy manager, has a strong and caring team. We have never experienced such care through people who make time to make sure they not only understand my challenges, but Jacob goes out of his way to follow my new medications and medications that have challenged me. He will read up on situations that exhaust us.. hospitalize me and even notices if a new doctor is involved. I cannot say enough about a pharmacist and team who treat you as someone who matters... the fight to have quality of life matters. We are so grateful for the overall " eye " they have on my health , and understanding of how kindness makes a difference. I went to this CVS with my friend to buy a Plus One Adult Toy. We were trying to find a worker, as…read moreit was locked up and it was awkward enough to have to go up to a man to ask him to unlock it for us, he was extremely rude to my friend who asked him. He acted as if we were a burden and had extreme attitude. After he unlocked the case for the toy, he brought it up to his coworker at the checkout and started speaking in another language and was waving it around and laughed. It was extremely uncomfortable and dehumanizing. The worker who checked us out, though, was kind and professional and didn't say anything back to the rude worker. I was already having a bad and stressful day, and being embarrassed by my local CVS was not helping.
