On 12/3/2024, I was purchasing some sliced cold cuts at the Deli Counter; I was waiting for the Associate to hand me my food when I realized she was gone! I looked to see where my food was, and it was gone also. I asked another Associate what was happening, and she answered, "she went to weight the food!" I said, "you just do not take my food from my eyesight!" I did not like that at all! I also expressed my feelings to the manager at the Customer Service Counter. She said it was a temporary set-up. Well, whoever designed those arrangements did not have the customer nor their employees in mind. You should not take someone's sliced unsealed food from their eyesight! Your employees are taking the brunt of complaints from customers as well as having to walk back and forth wasting time. The WalMart in Brookhaven, Mississippi is the worst store I have EVER shopped at. The customer service reps are rude, hateful, and talk and surf on their phones more than work and then blame their slow progress on Corporate Walmart. They allow their friends and relatives to cut in line in front of customers who have patiently been waiting in line and even open registers specifically for people while intentionally discriminating against others. The reps, when confronted, claim to be managers and won't allow you to speak to an actual manager even when asking for the General Managers information or to leave them a message. They aren't afraid of losing their jobs and treat people like they are bothering them. Without customers, Walmart employees have no jobs. This fact needs to be made clear to Walmart Corporate so that they can get this store back on track. My elderly parents use the grocery pick up very often as they are both disabled and it is disgusting how many times they've told me that have waited patiently, after checking in online and when they got there to only be ignored and forced to wait in hot car for over two hours only to be told that the employees didn't know they were there waiting. Again, the employees friends and relatives were helped immediately, but not my elderly parents. This deplorable behavior has happened well over ten times and again, Corporate Walmart does NOTHING to stop it. Our money and our business are going elsewhere to shop. Let's see how long they act like this when corporate starts seeing the decline in their revenue from this store. Maybe then they will try to address the debacle that they call the Walmart in Brookhaven, Mississippi. read more

Automotive refused to air a tire up for me in order to pull in to the slot to get it fixed, refused to put spare on so I could get home. I called a family member to bring me a inflator, no cars in service area and 3 techs stood and watched me air it up. I am a senior citizen. read more

My pick up.order was set for 4pm to 5pm, I got a message that it was going to be delayed which is understandable l. I left 20 minutes after they messaged that it was ready. I arrived and checked in on the app and waited another 20 minutes and I called to make sure the app was working right. The woman that answered the phone told me the wait was due to not help and hung up lol on me. Been sitting in my car for 30 minutes and another customer left. Maybe they should hire people ? I know lots of people personally that are very qualified for this position including myself that have been waiting on applications submitted multiple times in the last 12 months so don't give me that "people don't wanna work" crap. I am oh so pleased by this walmart. i really do appreciate all they have to offer. walking in i had expected to buy the large curd great value cottage cheese but i was graced with the chance of a lifetime and i had the most wonderful time wandering the isles. just when i thought it couldn't get better i saw a badger in the tire section. i really thought the wildlife exposure was a nice touch and made it a much more well rounded experience. i am so thankful. This store is TERRIBLE. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I do realize that service work is one of the hardest industries to work.. with that being said, the employees are disrespectful, rude, have no sense of urgency, and no desire to help. I could go on further, but I think I've made my point. we waited 30 minutes to just be helped. there were hardly any workers on the floor anywhere, and when we asked employees we saw, we were blown off. I wouldn't even patron this store if the next closet store wasn't an hour away. NONE of these people have any customer service skills whatsoever. I'm so sick of the Brookhaven Walmart! I went there over the weekend to pick up a few items. Almost everyone working there was frowning, rude, cold, and obviously hate their job! What is wrong with people today! When I am at work, I try so hard to help others with whatever they need and I expect that same consideration from others. Pretty much one of the only places in Brookhaven to shop. And it shows. The shelves are usually half empty. Most of the staff and management is lazy and doesn't care. Had one time when it took a manager 22 minutes to walk from the service desk to the cashier that needed help. My ice cream melted and the manager acted like she didn't care. The worst part is Brookhaven will never get another big box store. A Target was suppose to be opening right at 7 years ago. Walmart threatened to not only close their Supercenter but also the distribution center outside of town. And when close to half of the people in Brookhaven work at one or the other...well the city caved and didn't let Target open a store in Brookhaven. If you get bad service it doesn't help if you complain to the managers. They DO NOT CARE! And recently they have taken to keeping the A/C set so high that it is in the 80s inside the store. If asked about this the store manager will claim this was an order from corporate. But the Walmart south of Brookhaven in McComb doesn't have the air set that high. The only reason people still go here is there really isn't any other option. read more

Big Walmart the SuperCenter. Whenever I lived in Btown, I would come here at least once a week. Everytime I go here, I would see at least one person I know cause since it's a very small town. They have almost everything you need/want. Now that I live in CA, the Walmarts here are smaller because there's Costco around here. read more

This store is beyond convenient. Being open 24 hours a day is always convenient. However, some of the staff are rude but most are diamonds in the rough. There are some very nice employees. With that being said all businesses have great and not so great employees. Most of the time it is clean, however you find a lot of stuff misplaced. Since the remodel it seems to be getting better. They stay stocked up in the items I've went for. Could be better but overall it is very convenient and is there for the purpose at hand. read more

I have shopped at this Walmart weekly for years and spend thousands of dollars each year here. Of course there have been frustrating situations thru the years (uninformed/rude employees, out of stock items, etc.), but that can happen anywhere. However, things seem to be getting worse. They are often out of items and now have people stocking the shelves all day - which takes up a lot of space in the aisles. For a long time now, they have checked receipts at the exit for unbagged items. This is not that big of a deal but today it went too far. I had put a case of water and a container of laundry detergent in the bottom of my buggy along with bottled drinks hanging on the side of my buggy and just had the cashier scan them and piled a lot of groceries on top and underneath. (I had a full buggy.). When I gave my receipt to the lady at the exit -she scanned it and my drinks and said she had to scan the water and detergent. What? I had to go get another buggy and take out about 6 bags so she could scan them. Unbelievable! Unloading half my buggy at the exit is the last thing I want to do. It was embarrassing because people were staring and I felt like I was holding people up. If they require that, they should have someone there to unload it for you. This is very upsetting to regular, honest customers. I think it's time to find somewhere else to shop even if that means going out of town! read more

My experience at this Walmart is one that will keep me from ever returning. I haven't been to one in over a year, but I had a lovely nail that decided to make my tire its home and Walmart's Automotive center was the only place open in my small town. While I was waiting, I picked some things up for my dog and only three registers were open. It took over 20 minutes to check out. Back in the Automotive section, Melissa and Deanna were the customer service representatives and I could tell that they were overwhelmed, but Melissa's attitude was absolutely horrible. She was repeatedly rude to customers and even told one to go away and come back when the line was shorter. Finally, a customer was rude back to her and she laughed in his face. Not professional at all. After a two hour wait to get my tire patched, they told me they couldn't patch it and put my spare on. My spare was flat, but they didn't air it up and sent it on my way.
