While waiting two emplyees pushing a big cart walked by me, one came up and ordered me to move out of the firelane which I had two wheels over the line. Very rude and demanding tone. They came back around the building walked right by my car again I asked her about the Pumpkin cart the is accually in the whole firelane. (See picture) She said that is part of the store and that is OK to that. A manager at the Fairbury,NE Walmart can talk to customers as if they are children, I wonder how the employees are treated. I often come here over lunch or at the end of my work day. I work locally in Beatrice, but I commute to Lincoln. I typically stop in for their salads and veggie trays for lunches on days I forgot to pack. This lets me eat healthy and on the cheap. I like how they changed the store to feature these items directly as you enter the grocery store. This saves me time and gives me ample selection. Second, I do this for coming in after work to save my family time on last-minute items or the quirky thing or two we might need. This usually doesn't cause trouble as the place isn't crowded compared to Lincoln's Walmarts. My only drawback is the checkout system. This is more Walmart-wide than this story in particular. Often, machines do not work, or when using the app to scan and checkout via mobile, the software doesn't seem to work with the checkout stands. The staff are very nice and helpful though.

Once they requested the hell waited 10 plus minutes and know one showed up. Walked away to check out and the front staff was too busy talking rather than addressing a question. Seems the older ladies at the checkout lanes were the most competent. I would rather drive to Marysville Walmart than return to this poorly managed store. I would not even give it a one star if I had the choice.

I have found some really unique items in this particular store, including a hammered copper pitcher, a beautiful silver picture frame, and tonight - unbelievably - Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu eau de toilette! For those who know me, a lot of my life centers around green tea and yuzu everything, so to find that (and at a discounted price!) inside of a Marshall's here in the Little Apple was truly awesome.

My family business brings us into Concordia every three months and for the last 2 years every time…read morein town we stop by britt's along with many other small businesses downtown. This morning we stopped by and I stayed outside due to having a soft pretzel from another business and as a 20 year fine dining chef I know it's rude to bring outside food into a food seller. So I sat outside and was eating my pretzel, but unfortunately I forgot how to chew properly and chocked on a bite. I forced down the piece of food and ended up needing to spit a little due to the situation. Instead of seeing I was in distress or having an issue the woman running the store came to the door and asked if I was spitting on "her" sidewalk I tried to explain the situation but she rolled her eyes and walked back inside before I could even get out half a sentence. Luckily the smoke shop a couple doors down had drinks because I definitely wasn't going to walk into her store and pay for her product if she was just more concerned about some random person spitting on the sidewalk rather than them choking right outside of her door. Oh and throwing a bucket of soapy water on the sidewalk once you assumed I had walked away and staring at me down the block was a nice touch of customer service.
