Don't expect any help from this store with anything that is behind a locked case. Waited around 30 minutes or more and paged for help 3 different times from 3 different desks. This place has no working cashiers. Just workers standing around watching the great struggle of self checkouts. I had a cart full of milk, shrimp and steaks that at the end of checkout,,, it scanned twice. Tried to remove the items and alarms went off. My beef is more with Walmart.com, but I ordered tires to be delivered to my wal mart to have them installed on my van. Found my tires, paid for them (they took my money in seconds) and never received them. Complained on the website, they give me 25 dollars for my inconvenience. Whoopty doo, I NEED tires badly. Had enough waiting, complained again and was told they were lost in transit, and given a refund. Thanks for wasting my time. Refund took a few days, funny how quick they take it though. If only they had more tires in stock this mess would have been avoided. Also, you should know if you try to get tires there, they will only install tires which are the same size as on your placard inside your vehicle's door (or wherever your tire size is specified.) My "ordeal" began in July 3, 2018. I made a purchase online and the package (exercise equipment) was shipped to me. I immediately take to the Danville store for assembly. I was told that assemblies on took place on Tuesdays and Fridays. After 2 weeks, I called to inquire how much longer to assemble. I was told that my equipment was next in line. Fast forward a couple of more weeks, now August. I call the store and was told that my equipment was no longer at the store. The belief was that it was sold. I immediately drive to the store and speak with a Thom - Front End Manager (who says not allowed to give out last name). Thom orders the product again which comes in the following week (August 7th). Thom promised to be the point person on this project. I again drive the package to Wal-Mart for assembly. The following Tuesday (August 14th) I had 5 calls on my voicemail when I returned home from work. ALL from different people at Wal-Mart saying that the equipment was ready. Also, the original piece of equipment had been found. I call on the very day and ask for Thom. Thom tells me that he would be working the following day (Wednesday) and I should ask for him when I come in. I explain to Thom that I would pick up said item after work on the following day. On Wednesday (August 15th), I go pick up the equipment. Thom tells me that the 2nd package was damaged and they needed "my help" on sending back since it was an online order. Also, notable is that I inspected the package BEFORE taking to the store for assembly and "ALL WAS WELL, no damages". Thom said that he would make it worth my while since I had already waited 6 weeks for the product and I would be required to do the leg work of sending back the product. Once I arrive home from picking up the equipment, I call the 800 online number to inquire what needs to be done for return of the 2nd item. The representative told me that the store could scan the item into their inventory for the return. I relay the information to Thom. Thom said that he was in the process of doing inventory and would call back by Friday with my "complimentary" gift card or compensation. Long story short, NO CALL on Friday. Saturday, I call and speak with a manager Becky. Becky calls Thom at home who was off on that day. Becky relays that Thom would call me Monday, August 20th with information. Still "waiting" on Thom to follow through on ANY promised made to me. I am not sure if Wal-Mart managers are in the habit of lying or just making promises that they NEVER intend on keeping. read more

I got a playstation 4 for Christmas but when I opened it its was smashed to pieces. When I took it to Walmart to return it they wouldn't take it because the console number didn't matched the box number makes me mad. Recently purchased some VERY expensive electronic gear at the Danville Il store. It was during the Christmas Rush. After getting home we discovered 1 bag missing, of course it had to be the bag with the Expensive Electronics. I called the store and the gentleman in Electronics said he found it and had tried to page us but we had left the store. He locked it backup and we returned to retrieve it. i offered him a thank you reward, He wouldn't take it. I did shake his hand and wish him a Merry Christmas. I think most employees are this honest. On 5/17/2016 I went to pickup an online purchase at 5PM and went to the pickup area. No one was there. I waited several minutes and was finally told that the clerk that takes care of customer service would be over when she saw me. She was waiting on customers there. After 2 more people were at the pickup area a clerk came over to help and then did not have the key. After several more minutes a key was found and I finally received my order. The management at this store is nonexistent as there should be an employee at each area and not expecting one employee to cover two areas. I do not blame the employees as they have no management to follow. I only bought this item as walmart was the only one that had it. This is another reason I shop at MEIJERS. In 2016 I have only spent about $80.00 at walmart. I do not do grocery or general merchandise shopping at any walmart when there is an alternative store. read more
