That's when this remarkable young man by the name of Billy came up and offered assistance. Not only did he inform me about all the grills, but upon determining which one I was going to purchase, he offered to set it up for me, which not only saved time but also energy. Amazing donut shop!…read more I go here for my morning breakfast on the weekends. They're open from the crack of dawn, to about lunch hours. I normally get the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant/Breakfast Burrito, Blueberry Donuts, and Kiloches. Great products, great price, and great service. During lunch today I happened to be in the Deridder area so I decided to give them a try. My first impression of the place was "this place serves food?" It looks like a rural truck stop, with a mechanic on-duty next door and a salvage yard in the back. Nevertheless, I decided to go in and give it a try. The place is pretty much a convenience store, with a grill that not only serves burgers, but also Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Hunt Brothers Pizza. They have a really comprehensive menu, serving breakfast to fried seafood dinners. Since everyone at the plant raved about the double bacon cheeseburger, I decided to give that a try, along with waffle fries and a drink. The lady behind the counter informed me the Coca Cola soda fountain was out-of-order the day I visited, and I should pick up a bottled soda instead. After taking my order, she informed me there is a 20 minute wait for the food to be ready. I decided to sit in the dining area to wait, and it is a small area with a TV playing FOX News (the remote was available if anyone wanted to change the channel). Overall it is clean and there is WiFi but I didn't ask for the password. Poteet's Pit Stop is clearly popular as many people came and went as I waited. There were also a lot of people who called in earlier and just came to pick up their orders. About 20 minutes passed and my food was ready. I picked up my drink and decided to eat in the car, in consideration of social distancing during this COVID-19 period. There is a Baptist Church with a large parking lot next door so I decided to stop there to dine in my vehicle. The fries turned out to be hot, freshly made, and has the right amount of seasoning. Best of all was the burger, which was hot and fresh with a generous amount of grilled onions, cheese, and bacon. I opted for the jalapeno bread, which made a difference, and overall it made a hearty meal. Overall, Poteet's Pit Stop was quite a surprise, and is perhaps one of Deridder's best-kept secrets for an excellent burger. The service was friendly, the ladies working were real sweethearts, and the food just wonderful. I will certainly come back the next time I am looking for lunch in the area!

Some curated booths, but most are just a random collection of things. Lots of used clothes and shoes. There's a lot of stuff here, so you could definitely find a treasure, but I personally didn't find much worth buying. However, I would still consider it a must stop because of the size and variety - you never know what you might find. I think I spent about 30 minutes here. Note: no restroom, but there is a public restroom across the street.

My Mother knew the lady in the boutique and they had a pleasant visit. She made my Mother feel special. I did not feel pressured to purchase anything. She allowed me to browse, pick items up and enjoy my outing with my Mother. The store had everything from Brighton jewelry to Merle Norman makeup to shoes. I was looking for a gift but had bought one at the previous store. If not I'm sure I would have bought something here.
