I am giving 5 stars for Carissa. I love the grocery pickup option. I use it frequently and it usually runs smooth. But recently when I picked up an order and got it home, a lot of things were missing. When I called in, 2 of the employees told me they would refund it to my payment method. That's ok but I still needed the stuff. Being a very busy person, I noticed more stuff missing. When I called back, Carissa answered. She not only found the other half of my order sitting there, but she personally pulled the other missing stuff. I was able to go pick up the rest of my order that night. Carissa went above and beyond and I am grateful. Now I will keep using the service. Thank you Carissa! read more

I don't understand the point of being 24 hours when half of their products are unavailable to buy. I came at 10:30pm and wanted to buy nail polish remover come to find out their makeup section is closed off at 9:30pm??? I ask a coworker can I get it or if she could quickly even get it for me if necessary and she said no because it's closed... Whatever, so we check out the other stuff we have. There's also a guy wanting to speak to management because literally nobody wasn't being diligent enough to open up their glass case to get some damn Advil. He's been waiting for who knows how long to get "the proper person" to open it up. There were numerous employees scattered around just doing busy work like go backs and/or standing around empty registers. I've come to tolerate the need to lock up merchandise behind glass even if the products locked up seem arbitrary. However after waiting 25 minutes for a $7 bottle of Vicks I left without assistance. We just came here to pick up an aux cord really fast. When I went into the electronics section, there were two employees there. I asked for help and showed them exactly what I needed in the locked cabinet. Neither one of them said anything to me and looked at one another like they were lost. The guy walked away and grabbed another worker (I'm guessing the one that actually was supposed to be working in that section). They both could have at least said they don't work in electronics instead of just standing there. The person that helped us was Estela. She was great and very polite. She seen I was wearing a Harley shirt and was telling me her husband had a Harley. Two days ago, my 1st time in Dixon's SUPER store Walmart. Wow, it IS huge. All the clerks were friendly, eager to help. I was looking for wide-mouth mason jars (something akin to looking for hen's teeth). In roaming around, searching before asking an employee, I saw many shelves empty. Some reviewers here blame empty shelves on "hoarders". Maybe they're partly the cause, but, I know that to get products to Walmart, takes so many hands! Employees in a factory (or out in a farming field), employees for packaging up everything, driving the trucks to a store, stocking the shelves., etc. UN employment is horrific, everywhere in the US ! More & more people (including families with children) will be living in their cars, or worse. --- Please understand & stop complaining. Just go with what you can find at home, or change your plans! Beware this store like all Walnut's are not taking precautions for the covid or any viruses & germs. No gloves & mask are worn by workers in this store .There was nobody disinfecting the shopping carts or anything. You still have to make contact with the receipt checker which impedes on social distancing & is unneeded contact with someone who is high risk because they come in close contact with hundreds of people daily. Bought a loaf of raisin bread last month and found when I got to the end of the loaf, the finger tip of a blue latex glove was baked into the bread. Went to customer service and they told me they didn't bake it, but could give me a free loaf. I wasn't interested in that, I wanted them to take responsibility and work with the supplier and appropriate health departments to investigate. There was no manager available so I left my contact information and asked that they gave the manager call me and confirm my concern was being followed up on. Never heard a word! Worse service ever! 13 people ? ?? Wgmt ustomer service line.1 person at tge cashier. I ask a manager to get her help she saud she was working on it. Same girl walked back and forth bringing 1 item at a time back to customer service. I left and the line was not 16 people long. Then i tried to used the Walmart card i was just given for the return and it didn't work. Thankfully the cashier git some right over and after 10 minutes was able to get someone to override the card. It's an okay store - it's Wal-Mart. Shelves are generally stocked - probably as good as they can be given things these days. Aisles seem to be kept clear and clean. Most of the associates I've come into contact with are nice, and helpful; a number of them seem stressed and bothered they are having to work. There IS this one older lady who I've "experienced" at the self-checkout several times who seems to be in a perpetual ornery, cranky and nasty mood - but she is easily ignored. The a/c in the store seems less cool, and the air stagnant these days - it's a weird warm feeling. Very odd. The store no longer allows reusable bags (8/14/2020), so don't bring them with you; the greeters will stop you from bringing them in. No signs, no notifications. Must have been an overnight decision as the previous day it was fine. They WILL allow you to purchase their store bags. Their delivery service gets an 'F' - based on my one experience where they canceled my order ONE HOUR AFTER it was supposed to be delivered - at first saying it had been delivered, then saying they couldn't find the order, then finally canceling the order. Overall, it's eh. One doesn't expect much from Wal-Mart anyway, and I have greatly lowered any previous expectations. It's just a place to buy stuff. read more

They never have enough staff or their staff is poorly managed. This sucks but is dangerous with the current situation. They have so few checkers and self checkout open that the lines wind into the merchandise racks. Social distancing is impossible. When I asked to speak with the manager, an assistant manager said they don't have enough staff so as not to have them get COVID? What? Ridiculous. Two of their assistant managers and three reps were huddled in customer service instead of, you know, actually providing customer service. There is also no one cleaning carts. I love your 24 hr Walmart! Whether it's getting cheap groceries or cheap clothes for a last minute interview, you are always there for me. Especially when I have late night munchies. It's about 10 minutes away from Davis and has everything you would ever need. Need some food? Need some clothes? Need some blankets to keep you warm? Need a fan or heater to beat the weather? So this is Walmart. I figure that if we don't expect much, we can be good going into this place. Yes, I like Target over Walmart any day. But sometimes I have things that I can only find at Walmart. So I go occasionally. So why 5 stars? Well, they are the best one around. I will drive extra to get to this Walmart over any of the other Walmarts in the area. They have things well stocked and the least busy I have ever seen. The lines are never crazy long and the people are friendly. The girlfriend & I were on our way up to Sacramento for the Soul Kitchen Shakedown Elite Event @ House Kitchen & Bar. I knew we would be passing by the Dixon Walmart & everything I needed could be found there. & so it was. This Walmart had it all: flannel shirt for $9, Budweiser trucker hat for $5, camouflage cargo pants for $15, you get the picture. The Walmart in Dixon is a Walmart Supercenter, so virtually everything, including a full grocery, is under 1 roof for cheap. While this store is seriously frikkin' huge, it's clean & tidy throughout. The parking lot is big enough to land a 747. Whether it's for a trailer trash wardrobe starter kit or for just about anything else, the Walmart in Dixon is a good place to get stuff for cheap. read more

Come to this Walmart all the time, because of theft they have locked up a lot of products and you have have to wait for them to unlock the cabinet they have it in. On multiple occasions I have pushed the little button and waited for more that 15 minutes and nobody shows up. I try to grab another employee working the area only to be told they don't have a key and the only way to get a response is to push the button and wait. That is a horrible way to do business. I really hope Walmart goes under while the one stop shop is nice the way they have cut back and treated customer and employees in the process makes me hate this company. read more

Would give zero Stars if I could. Sign States the store closes at 7:00 due to covid. I show up 6:35 needing motor oil and eggs. The "greeter" is out front yelling at everyone that the store is closed. He told one woman, "If you don't like it, go shop somewhere else!". I asked what time they closed, he responded my telling me they closed at 7 but they had 200 people in the store the needed to get out before closing as many people were leaving the store. They were not at capacity even for covid standards as at least 50 people walked out from the time I got out of the car to the time I walked up to the door and was yelled at. If the store needs to be empty exactly at 7:00, they need to set their closing hours earlier so people don't plan on driving all the way to Walmart just to be yelled at. read more

We were told for future notice do not place the plants on the belt because they get soil everywhere and there is no way to clean it up. Right after she wiped it up with a towel. Well update came all the way here so I wouldn't have to deal with ghetto Vacaville store. Came here walked around looking for a shadowbox and then was going to do the rest of my shopping. Ran into no less than nine people wearing Walmart gear and nametags all of whom couldn't answer where I could find picture frames. When I found the picture frames there was only one shadowbox. So many shelves around the store are still empty. I guess Walmarts everywhere are lacking in customer service. Other than the fact they have a lot of empty shelves due to panicked social media hoarders lol dummies, the store is always nice. It was nicer today without the crowds that Vacaville has. We got our veggies and talked to those in line and the clerk Linda. So understanding that people older and with compromised immune systems stay home or take precautions but hoarding just makes us level headed people who just but what is needed a little irritated. Thank you Dixon Walmart workers for being patient, still working and being normal I commend your daunting job ahead to refill the shelves and keep it real. They have half the store locked up which I can understand to deter theft but it takes over 15 minutes to get someone there to unlock it for you. I don't understand the purposes of the bottons on the locked cabinets if they don't even come when you press the button and you have to search for an employee to call someone to unlock it. I bought a set of bunk beds and a mattress from here and when I opened the box for the mattress it was full of garbage I live 20-30 minutes away so a called the store to let them know so they told me if I had the receipt and I said I do,they tell me to bring it in with the mattress I do and I ask for the manager and he tells me he needs to check the cameras,30 minutes goes by and he tells me that no one has bought or returned the item before so can't do nothing.....so I spent almost 300 dollars of my hard earn money to get scammed from a store or in his mind to scam them for a 45 dollar mattress that was b.s. If I could I would give this Walmart a big fat "0". On May 16th my husband and I shopped at this store during the afternoon. We've shopped here quite often. We went into the self check out and go near the produce section. The Caucasian elderly woman name Delores who's always there and displays very bad customer service to customers was there working. Before we could began scanning our items she came over to us stuck her hand in our basket and stated is there alcohol in your basket? We said "NO", why? She stated you can't check out alcohol here. We stated to her, we don't drink alcohol? She then said, oh, I thought I saw some alcohol in your basket. We stated you thought wrong!!!! We then picked up what was going on. She was racial profiling us being that we are African Americans. We began to scan our items. Upon completing the scanning of our items and purchasing them she came to our basket once again and accused us of not paying for an item. We were highly upset and demanded to see the Store Manager. While we waited, I noticed in her hand held device that she had been monitoring us the entire time during our purchase because every item we scanned was located on hand held device. We said to her why have you been monitoring us the entire time? She stated we monitor everyone!!! We stated no, you don't, we're the only African Americans scanning at this time and from the time we entered into scan and go you have monitored us, came to our basket twice and now accused us of not paying for something. She then called over her co-worker who was also working the scan and go and whispered loudly to her "I don't think they paid for that item", which was a box of cereal. Now for sure we knew she was racially profiling us. She is straight 'RACIST". Walmart should be ashamed to have such people of this caliber working for and representing them as a company. We spoke to Melanie who is not a Manager and she stated Management was not present. We explained to her what had just occurred and showed her our receipt that the item was paid for. Melanie responded by saying, Delores had some similar complaints like this before on other occasions. She asked us to leave our name and number and that she would have the Manager on duty Kevin to call us. Well until this day we have yet to receive a phone call. The next day after the incident, I called there Corporate office and submitted a complaint and was given a reference number. The store Manager Derek was given the complaint to contact us to resolve the issue. Until this day, he has yet to call. We visited the store on June 6th to speak with the Store Manager Derek face to face and was told he was on vacation. So Kevin who was supposed to call us on the day the incident occurred came over to speak to us after having a casual conversation with employees as we stood there. He was very unprofessional and nonchalant while speaking with us. We questioned him as to why he did not contact us on the day this happened and he did not have an answer. It was as if he was out of space mentally and did not have a care in the world as to what we were speaking to him about. Again, very poor customer service displayed!!! He basically stated that Derek told him the case was resolved and closed. Wow!!!! In conclusion, we will NEVER EVER shop at this store again. It's sad that in this day in time Walmart tolerates RACIST AND UNPROFESSIONAL people working for them to which Delores is still working in the same spot PROFILING people. This Dixon Walmart needs to totally train their employees on customer service skills plus their employees need a complete over haul. This store is absolutely the worst when it comes to customer service and unprofessionalism. They don't ever answer the customer service phone line and when they do, you are put on hold and not served. They need to be out of business. I went online on thanksgiving to put In an order due to the fact I was unable to go in store to make purchase spent the holiday with my sick grandparents. I found on Friday I ordered the wrong bike so I went to cancel it In hopes to exchange. Ya no not possible and it canceled my whole order. I called Dixon Walmart and talked to assistant manager Keri and he was able to locate the bike I wanted and the play station control I was so upset over and he put them on hold for me I'm on the way yet have never been so pleased with Walmart and it's customer service.
