Peter Danoff is the RUDEST store manager ever. My mother bought a laptop computer (brand new in the box) for my niece in August for Christmas when they were on sale. Immediately wrapped it and placed it in a closet for Christmas Day. My niece opens it up and is super excited. Gets it home and come to find out it wasn't NEW at all. Someone had already created a login so my sister couldn't even get on the laptop for my niece to set it up. So, my sister takes it to Walmart because of this issue and Peter basically called her a liar to her face. Said he doesn't know if anyone had been using it since August (why wouldn't my sister be able to get into it if that was the case.) She didn't even want a refund, literally wanted to swap the laptop that she couldn't use. He refused. Jerk. Please be careful when making laptop purchases here at this store or any electronic for that matter. You could be screwed over like we were. Horrible customer service. read more

Never been a huge fan of Wal-Mart to begin with so that's already -1 star. I live right around the corner and will literally only visit when I'm in dire need of items. The lines are long, their fruit/veggie stands are usually not filled, and their self-checkout lines (which is what I usually opt for) generally always have issues with accepting/dispensing cash so the store tends to tape a HAND-written note showing it's a "card-only" machine. Wow this Walmart has just about everything you need. I recently moved and discovered that it was only 5 mins away from my house. I come here for home and garden things as well as do it yourself materials that even lowe's doesn't have. They even have a place where you can do your nails and get a haircut (don't plan on trying it out but very convenient if you need it). The -1 star is for the long lines you can run into if you go during the later hours (8pm-10pm). read more

This review is for the Fairfield walmart pharmacy. I usually never have a problem. In the past if my prescription was put back or if it wasn't filled by the time I came to pick up maybe, But even then they are usually quick to get it filled. No issues there. I do have to comment on the customer service end. I prefer not to have to be helped by the blonde (dont know her name) , she always seems to have an attitude problem. I'll leave it at that. As for the rest of the staff the customer service is okay, the pharmacist named Wei, could use more training on the billing end and freshen up on policies and procedures. Other than that.... I do thank Mary on the drop off side for always being so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, her customer service is a 10+! ;-) read more

This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been too! Employees do not care about their customers at all! I had bought a ninja on sale for $35, but when I got to my car it wasn't there went back in to see if they had it still and they treated me like I was a liar and a theif, tried to call the next day to talk to customer service and they put me on hold for over 10 minutes and then they hung up on me!! I go here because its close by and within walking distance. I love the fact that theyre open 24 hours and have. Produce section there. The staff here is friendly, they get a 3 star based on the fact that after 9:00, you wave to wait in line for 30 minutes because the only have 2 cashiers. It gets dangerous at night time, people like to hang out in the big parking lot. read more

I stopped shopping here. Store is always a complete mess. They never have enough cashiers working. Always long lines. Parking lot always has people begging for money or people out front trying to get me to sign something for some BS republican cause. I dont want political crap while i am shopping. read more

Wal-mart is where I stock up on items for the office. I go here because they have the cheapest prices for the items we regularly buy....paper towels, power strips, extension cords, cleaning supplies, etc. In most cases, they will even match a lower price if you find one. The only downside is sometimes they run out of certain things and it can take up to 2-3 days to restock. Overall, Wal-mart is a good place to get office and home supplies at a low price. read more

I have been to this walmart a few times usually in the early morning since that is the only time I can stand being there. I won't even take my daughter there with me. When you pull into the parking lot the place looks abandoned. There are shopping carts everywhere and trash all over the ground. The inside is not much better the shelves are disorganized and dirty. Half the time they don't even have what I went there for. The customer service is terrible. I can never find anybody when I need them and if I do find someone they don't care or don't know what I'm talking about. This walmart was much better when it was across town. read more

It's Walmart. You get what you expect. It's not the best quality, but it's where I do a lot of my shopping. Going after 10 or so at night is fun. The store is mostly empty so you don't have to fight crowds. read more

I only come here because it's close to where I live. I am from Folsom and miss the one out there, definitely didn't ever experience "the people of walmart" until coming to this one. Truthfully I'd rather make the trip to Vacaville and shop there instead. The lines here are terrible, and there's always homeless people outside or solicitors; frustrating to say the least. Don't buy a TV and have it shipped. I ordered one shipped to store. It was delayed 2 days. When I finally picked it up and got it home, plugged it in and the screen was cracked. So I returned it and requested it a replacement. That one was also delayed. When I finally got it home, plugged it in and guess what? The screen was cracked. I called to lodge a complaint, figuring it was only to make me feel better because really, what could the local store do about it? Well, their answer to that was not to answer the phone. read more

Was here couple hours back - got inside the store after going through the craziness of the parking lot - manager and assistant manager were at the entrance greeting customers - I asked if I could talk to the manager and he wouldn't even take a step towards me - I explained the parking lot situation and he stated "thank the state of California" - I followed up by the fact that parking lot is the property of Walmart and subsequently their responsibility to assure customers are safe and in clean environment - once again he stated "blame the state of California" followed by "thank you" - if management is disengaged what can be expected of employees?? Onto the deli counter I ordered some deli meat - the kid behind the counter obviously didn't know his business as he couldn't even find what I ordered -finally pointed it out to him - he takes the meat out of the ziplock bag which I didn't see and proceeded to put it thru the slicer n subsequently on the scale that was still dirty from the last weighing that he had done - told him to keep it!! Unfortunately this place has become a total dump and the renovation will not fix it - it starts with management!! read more

I have to admit this place is already known for bad customer service, but there is some employees who are quite nice and very helpful. It's just that there is more employees who could care less. Such would be the entire pharmacy department. I expect there to be more organization and knowledge when it comes to someone working with people's prescriptions, but that is not the case. They constantly call my house saying the medicine is ready and when I get there they look at me like I am speaking in a different language. The employees in the deli department are very courteous and very helpful. Other than that I dread going into Walmart. read more

This is one of the absolute worst Walmart's I've ever been to. There's always a problem. I stay away from here on purpose. Long lines, minimum lanes open and nobody seems to know nothing and I dare you to get in a 10 item or less lane with 11 items. Customer service in this store needs an overhaul...just shut down and start from scratch but this time don't hire the same people with horrible attitudes. It's sad because there are some very helpful people that work here but most of them are stocking or folding and not at the register. I've met 2 managers here who actually care and will take over the situation and leave the customer with a better outlook but the rest allow the cashiers to mouth off right in front of them...like really, this is your manager and you have nor show respect in front of her. This is the absolute worst walmart I have ever shopped at during the 29 years of my existence. Poorly and under-staffed. It took 3 employees to process a simple return. this review is strictly based on the pet section. well well well where to start? first of all the feeder fishes is disgusting. they are dead and piled on top each other. apperently they dont take care of their fishes. its as if if i put them in my fish tank they will infect my other fishes as well. sure their prices are good compared to other stores but overall those fishes seem to hate walmart. but hey its not as if i can understand fish. they also sell turtle food but dont sell turtles. but overall one of the Lost Prevention associates sure is pretty cute. read more

This place was built smack dab in the ghettos of Fairfield,. Do NOT come here after dark if you can help it. It is literally next to a poor neighborhood, so those bad apples come out and try to mess with you and yours. Just the other week, as I walked out, a man shouted at me "AY! Got any money?!" I told him I bought the charcoal I was holding with a credit card. He then swore at me under his breath which smelled like alcohol. I also overheard the cart attendants laughing about denting customer cars and that they couldn't get fired for doing it, even if it was on purpose. None of this ever happened at the old location off I-80. read more

This store has room for improvement. The employees are rarely friendly and there are always super long lines at the register. I have asked for help finding things from the employees and they are not helpful they just say i dont know or that's not my department instead of helping or finding someone who can help. I dont feel safe shopping here alone ive had grown men follow me around the store hitting on me and it frightens me. I saw a man get beat up by three other guys outside of the doors and the walmart employee standing there was cheering on the three men instead of trying to break it up. how is anyone rating this more than one star!? of all of the places i have ever been, this might be the worst business ive ever been to. i tried to give this place a chance, but it is a complete mess, the workers literally avoid eye contact with you so they dont have to help you, and its a miracle if you even see a worker in that place. most times i feel like nobody works there. on one instance, we had to get a fishing license for my girlfriend right before an early morning trip. we got there at 6am. nobody was around. once someone finally came, they told us they couldnt help us. we asked if they could get someone who could and they said that calling for help wouldnt make a difference. this happened over and over until someone attempted to sell us the license. she said the computer was having trouble logging on because the connection was dial up. are you kidding me!? its 2014, and the internet connection at a billion dollar company was running on dial up. the computer failed to log on, so she reset the computer, and said, that she couldnt help us any further. she literally walked off and left us there at the counter. at this point, we had been there for 40 minutes. other workers walked by and all told us we would have to wait for a manager who wouldnt be there until 7am. we waited for another 30 minutes until 7:10AM because we needed that license, and out of nowhere comes this clown. he literally looked like one of those kids in a frosted mini-wheats commercials where the little kids are wearing their parents clothes, his hair was a mess with dandruff shaking off of it, and his shoes untied. im not makign this up, this is the real guy who came out with a name tag that said manager. i think his name was miguel. so if youre ever in this dump of a store, see if you can spot him, no joke, this is their manager. anyway, he never looked me in the face, never apologized for having us wait for over an hour, never said a word. he just tried to log on, and with one failed attempt, im not lying, he said "we're not selling licenses today". this is a true story, i am not making this up. i asked him "after one attempt, youre giving up!?" he said "i cant control a broken computer." i asked him if they had an IT guy, and asked what would happen if the register went down, what would you do then!? he literally, looked at his shows, said nothing, and shrugged his shoulders. my fault for not getting that license until that morning, but damn, they ended wasting an hour and 15 minutes of my morning and i ended up driving to the vacaville store to get the license. anyway, all of this on top of all of the crackheads, cranksters, and transients that now wander around the area since that walmart went up, all of the graffiti all over the place, all of the litter, and all of the rusty shopping carts that have spilled out all over the surrounding neighborhood which used to be a great place to live and you have the worst thing to ever hit fairfield. any way we can start a BOYCOTT FAIRFIELD WALMART in this town? where there is a walmart, there is nothing but bad things that follow. i live close by, but i drive all the way to the fairfield target just to get things i need in a pinch so i can avoid that abortion of a store. oh yeah, and if you actually try to buy something, good luck finding it in there, and if you do, good luck finding a cashier at one of the 100 empty cash registers in the front. read more

I like to shop at Walmart because of the lower prices & the distance of the location. But I got so disgusted and this is not the first time of experience. NO ONE seems to clean or wipe the counters at the check out. How do you expect to lay down your food whether it is a loaf of bread or fresh produce for that matter? I honestly don't want to get contamination or get germs and bacteria. There is nothing good about this Walmart...Be careful because the parking lot, aside from being filthy and carts scattered everywhere(good luck finding one that is in good shape too), is full of undesirables who will approach you for money, cigs etc, day and night..., There are usually people at the entrances soliciting for one thing or another, most employees are wandering around aimlessly, incompetent and/or don't care, use foul language out loud, argue openly amongst each other, and some will even give you attitude...There's never enough registers open...Try calling to complain to management about something and you get transferred to the phone with the never ending ring...After yesterday's dreadful experience, I left my cart full of at least 100 dollars worth of what would have been purchases, in the store, and walked out never to return... The Suisun location is a farther drive, so I will shop at that Walmart as a last resort only...You don't save anything at Walmart any more either...They've lost our business... read more

Something has definitely happened. I have been to this Wal-Mart in the past, and gotten the usual low prices, generic selection, and average service. Today was different. I was getting some decorative tape for a project and was trying to match the pattern. A nice employee (a dept. manager, I'd wager), walked by, noticed me, and asked if I needed help. I was a bit surprised. I'm not used to that happening in a Wal-Mart. He showed me to the other area where they have packing/masking tape, asked if I had the original item SKU, and said he was available to answer any other questions. All with a smiling face and a bright voice. Later, my wife and I went back to the same store and had the same sort of experience. Employees were upbeat, on-task, and greeting and conversing with each other. The whole atmosphere and culture seems to have changed. Even the McDonalds inside was positive and genuinely friendly. This store has gone way up on my list. read more

I love Walmart in general but this Walmart was kind of sad today, they didn't have a big sippy cup selection, most of the sippy cups are like the 360 miricle cup but in dif brands and there kids silverware was an ok selection, two dif characters for the boys and girls but the boys can also be for girls.. also there book section for kids is bad and all they had was Xmas book, no learning books for the kids and lastly the mcdz didn't have chicken nuggets today, the one day I wanted to get ny son some food they didn't have what he wanted but for the most part usually the Walmart is pretty good and its close by my aunts read more
