I never would have thought to go tanning salon to purchase clothing however they have a few unique lines of clothing. Given the dearth of places to shop women's clothing, this place is worth a look. Tonight the store had 1 checker. All self serves closed. It took me about 40 min to check out…read more Several full carts, but most only had a few items. 1 person didnt come in and the store collapses! The problem is the 11p-12midnight hour. Evidently one has to shut down the self check machines and close out the money for the day. With 1 no show that left only one to check out the entire store. Management should staff enough to make sure there are always 2 checkers for that last critical hour. However it seems to not matter! Just paying 1 person 1 more hour would probably solve this, but it appears a monster corporation isnt able to do that.

But this morning was amazingly different! What started out as a problem, turned into a positive and I smiled as I left the store. I went for one thing...found a couple other things, and realized they might have a bit of lace that I needed for a small project. I found it but it was sold by the yard. Ugh...I wan't sure I wanted to wait for someone to cut what I wanted but the price was too good to pass up. I took the bolt to the cutting table...probably not something most shoppers even notice...and looked for someone to help me. Looked down the aisles. No luck. Went back to the table, laid out the fabric, measuring exactly what I needed. I was sooo tempted to go ahead and cut it. Then I noticed this contraption glued to the edge of the table. Walked around and...I kid you not...it said to press the button to call someone ....LOL... of course I pushed it. Then I waited and waited. A young very nice employee just happened to walk be and saw my annoyed look. He called someone who then announced over the loud speaker for help. A minute later the Asst Manager came by. Both were very apologetic and sincere. Seriously. Iwas thinking I must have transported myself to that other store,right? These people can't be working for Walmart??? By then the lady who works in that dept...who clearly loves this dept...took charge while the other two tried to get the wireless gadget to work so they could print out the paper tag for the cut fabric. She also explained to me that the red push button rings the fitting room and that employee is suppose to call for help! But obviously she...or he wasn't there. By then I thought I was in a sitcom...it was too funny! Everyone really was trying to help. So today, I give this store their first review and I am happy to say that it was actually an enjoyable experience. I want to think that Walmart really is trying to change it's culture starting by treating their employees with respect. I certainly felt a change. Oh...I did go on to look for the item I really come in for...but that is a whole other story for another day!

I entered the store and a sweaty lady rushed around the counter to stop my granddaughter and I entering the store. She said I would need to hold my granddaughters hand. We had just walked into the store and my granddaughter was calmly walking in and not touching a thing. The lady started telling me about something happening to her merchandise involving a child. I stopped her mid sentence and told her holding her hand would not be necessary since we won't be shopping in her store. She was so incredibly rude. This was the first shop we entered in the shopping center, luckily her behavior was the outlier. Don't give this hag your business. From what I have read, she has been far more rude to other shoppers.

As we were walking to the back of the store, two employees looked up at us, neither greeted us. We got to the back of the store, a worker walked by , she neither greeted us or offered to help. In total the time we looked NO ONE greeted or offered to help us. We are all about supporting our locally owned businesses, unfortunately we spent our money at Shoe Show that day!!! The owners are always helpful easy to talk to. They make you feel welcome and to me that's important. I drop in every time I go downtown.
