What a nightmare!! Order your tires from anywhere else. This should be theft. Ordered four new tires and the installation. Not getting anything I ordered yet they have my money. So, you order from Walmart Online not from the store...makes sense! Three tires came in yesterday, yea not four, like it has showed in my app all week. The associate at the Walmart Auto Care Center that was supposed to receive the tires and perform the installation, informed me that he went to check the tires in yesterday, and his system showed that the order was cancelled! Now, this was yesterday. They showed me on their system at the store that's it was cancelled by me. The kicker is it shows me cancelling this morning at 1:03 AM not yesterday. So, how was it cancelled yesterday. Furthermore, I wasn't even up at 1:03 AM. Walmart Online and my app is showing 3 tires ready for pickup today but in the process line it shows only shipped. Although I saw with my own eyes that all three tires are at the store. Now, the last tire that was supposed to be in on Monday after 12 AM shows ready for pickup-up now! Yet, the store only has three. So, since the order was cancelled by someone (not me) the store has to return the three tires to the sender..oh which isn't Walmart but an independent company because it's protocol. I spoke to two different individuals at Walmart Online that had two different stories. One person told me the three tires were on a FedEx truck being delivered to the store today, and the other person told me the store had one tire and the other three being delivered Monday. This is all taking place on a Friday. The one thing they both had in common was that the order wasn't cancelled only the installation. Again, I saw where this was false inside the store on the associates computer. I asked the associates in the store to call someone with Walmart Online and work this out. They both said that it was nothing they could do but follow protocol and send back to the seller! One of them actually told me to repurchase the tires when I already have over $650 deducted from my bank account. Yes, I don't own credit cards so I used a debit. Probably a bad idea but I kind of trusted Walmart to do what's right and if something wasn't correct to make it right within a reasonable amount of time. Well, they don't. So, now there will be a refund that will take up to 10 business days. Yes, no tires , no installation and I'll have to wait up to 10 business days for a refund. It's not worth the chance to do business with them and have the results that I have right now. I'm not a rich person, matter of fact my son was diagnosed with cancer last October and we have spent all of our savings, retirement, sold personal items, so to be out over $650 and go someone else and spend hundreds of dollars isn't an option for me. My other son hasn't been able to drive his truck for weeks because I was saving up to purchase these tires. Oh, but just buy them again he said. Really? I am beyond words and can't believe Walmart conducts business this way. We get medicine from Walmart, buy groceries from Walmart, have always shopped at Walmart but I will be a distant customer moving forward. I'm sure they don't care, in fact I know they don't care, and what a shame. Shame on you Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Onlibe. They told me I cancelled the order. Please see attachment. read more

Only 3 self checkout lanes open ( out of 24) on a VERY busy saturday afternoon. The ones on the pharmacy side are NEVER open. As a Plus member, they have 3 Plus lanes open, but they are blocked off. Really a poor excuse for a Walmart. read more

It's Walmart so I'll just leave it at that. But this location is pretty darn good. You won't find anyone to help you as usual but everything is pretty much in stock when you do find it on your own. Whoever does inventory for the store is doing pretty good because you can pretty much walk in and get what you need and get out. Just how I like it. The meat selection is always stocked as well as the fruits and veggies. Usually they have a few more registers open than most Walmart's and you can get in and out but they do still have those moments where there's four registers open and you have a wait. That's usually around night time but you also have to remember this is the only Walmart in Gonzales unlike Baton Rouge. The store is always clean as well. So far so good. read more

I gotta go 4 stars on the Walmart in Gonzales simply due to the fact that they always have a ton of registers open when I've been there thus there is no wait in line to speak of...the last 2 times I've been I've actually been behind someone in line and due to my prior experiences in the Bossier City, LA Walmart think "This ain't too bad" when a cashier at another register has said "My lane is open!" Popped right over and got the hell out of Dodge!!! Fantastic! Also they have wider aisles than the other Walmarts I'm used to and that right there makes for a more enjoyable experience than I have ever had in the past at other Walmart's in north Louisiana. read more

It's a fine enough Walmart. I was impressed at how many registers were open in addition to the self-checkouts. I used the restroom, which is quite run down. My stall didn't even have a lock on the door. While I was washing my hands, an employee walked out of the handicap stall and straight out the door without washing her hand. Waited by the service desk for 15 minutes to get an oil change. The whole time they had five service technicians shooting the bull 10 feet away from me. Finally an employee comes ask me if I need anything I asked for an oil change. She asked what type of vehicle I'll point it to my truck she asked another technician if that truck would fit and he said no. My truck is a full-size pickup truck no special editions just a normal truck. I said really cuz I get it changed at Prairieville Walmart. The employee looks at me and says this ain't Prairieville. As I'm leaving I hear them talking she is talking to the other employees saying oh I wanted to tell him something so bad then another employee says f*** him this ain't f****** Prairieville. This location needs to be cleaned from head to toe starting with the CSM's. Marcie is the definition of POOR customer service! Upon my recent visit she was having an altercation with a customer and handled him rudely. Why I thought my interaction would be a bit different I was mistaken. She completely cut me off of my sentence and said "Have a nice day" and walked off. Apparently whatever was on her phone was more important than tending to customers in front of her. I asked for her name and the first letter of her last name which she did not want to provide. People who do this know they have caused a disturbance and do not want any complaints on them. This is not the only terrible thing about this location. The home delivery is of reoccurring misfortunate events, and unorganized. Walmart makes too much money for it to be represented poorly by these people they are employing. FIRE Marcie, or demote her and have better procedures in place for grocery home delivery. (Don't let your delivery drivers CANCEL orders and not let the customer whom is still waiting for their order to arrive be left in the dark) How is that even remotely okay to do? Avoid this location! I will be shopping at Rouses or any other place and happily spend the extra money on groceries until this location is better managed. I called the store about my engagement ring and asked the customer service lady to transfer me to jewelry department and the lady straight up hung up on me,took two calls to finally get to the department.The customer service lady was not friendly at all,so I finally get transferred to the Jewelry department where the lady told me she can't pull up the status on my ring because the other lady was on lunch and told me to call back in an hour so she'll be back and could tell me,then instead of saying have a great day she also straight up hung up on me! Wow! I just can't believe that the workers nor managers answers the telephone...... that's what you call lazy. I called back to back over 10 times and NO ONE ANSWERED. Not to answer the telephone for customers, because they don't want to go look for what you are calling for. Headquarters, please retrain customer services to be customer services and answer the telephone and go look for an item when "customers" calls and give a price, so they don't have to have an attitude when the customer ask for the price as well.... This Walmart pulled the old Bait and Switch. They neglect to tell people that the "price match" so-called policy is non existent. If it was they do not price match the Walmart.com advertised price. Strange how such a large company will not adhere to its own websites advertised price. Plus give you several different variations of why that is. So if anyone uses the Walmart mobile app, as I did, delete it. I was told, this is no lie, Walmart stores are not affiliated with Walmart.com and do not have to sell items at any price that the website advertises.
