My experience as an employee at the Walmart 1382 is one of the worst jobs I've ever had. I worked at the height of Christmas season with no training basically and a hateful lead/dept. Manager whatever she was, she was hateful and snippy. To add to the chaos was a loud mouth phone representative, Jay who interfered with me, knowing I was flying by the seat of my pants. They left me alone almost every night knowing I hadn't been trained and knowing I told them I had absolutely no cashier experience whatsoever. Another girl/woman who also worked with the phone service also just got in my way and added to the chaos. My shift started at 3 pm and as usual, nobody was there to even hand over the keys to all the ramshackled cases. So the loud mouth phone reps just started to take over. Finally, someone brought the keys. While Jay the loud mouth kept telling me to take a deep breath, the young black woman was all in my way while I tried to check out customers! I finally told him to stop telling me to take a breath and that he nor the little black girl was ANY help at all! Of course she was offended and went to management! Diane, a member of management decided that I was indeed disrespectful and thought I would put up with being reprimanded knowing full well I never received propper training. The young black girl/woman/lady stepped forward and called me a liar!! I quit immediately, but I'm definitely going to relay the actual truth to the corporate offices. read more

Was going to visit my fathers grave and needed some flowers. I usually stop here when I'm in town. On this visit, they were semi-crowded, but this was a Saturday. They have flowers right in the front of the store and instead of the regular ones I get, I opted for poinsettias to put on the grave. They were really cheap, small and cute. The store was jammed packed with goodies. The produce looked really fresh (as I passed by). I opted for self-checkout since I didn't have a lot of stuff. Went with my friend at 10 am, so not right when they open. They had a few hours to get their shit together. Stood at a lock box for about 20 minutes waiting for an associate to unlock an emergency contraceptive. Pressed the call button multiple times and asked a number of associates for help and every time was met with simply "I don't work over there." No help or anything. Ended up leaving to go get it somewhere else. Do better and don't shop at Walmart if you actually really need something. read more

Employee in toy section Ryan (female) was screaming at children for touching the merchandise. When she made the mistake of yelling at our son, my husband walked over to speak to her. He simple asked for her to not speak to our son but to us. She tried speaking over him and was extremely rude. The other employee Liz was bossy with children and told my other son to stop playing with a toy he had in his hand while sitting in the buggy that we were purchasing. Completely uncalled for. This Walmart would get no stars if that were an option. Aside from it being packed and only one open register. Ive been to the deli twice both times different employees both times equally crappy experiences. The first time after being ignored I asked the lady for help and she literally rolled her eyes at me and shrugged her shoulders. Then acted like I was an idiot because I didn't know what number I wanted her machine on. Thin wasn't a good enough answer. The second time the lady ignored me and walked into the back where she stayed for at least 7-8 minutes. Until a black lady walked up. She then tried helping her over me knowing that I was there first. When the lady told her that I was first she got aggravated and had a attitude the entire time.
