So tonight when I went into Walmart I spent a much longer amount of time there on top of the lengthy time I already probably would have spent there. What took me much longer today is that they are pretty much done with the renovation they been doing lately and I do not know where anything is at anymore..I don't think Walmart had to make those changes because the customer service stays the same..usually not as friendly as the commercial makes them seem. Prices seem to have went up a bit too! Guess we have to pay for the renovation or something, I have to park even further in the parking lot due to all the extra handicap parking they made. (Which it is very beneficial to those who do use them legally.) They probably don't have to pay as many people for working as a cashier now since it Looks like most of the lanes are self check out now. I also notice that half if not more of the self check out lanes are always closed or they are working on them for some reason. I always notice that big tall white man with the pony tail who pretends to be a shopper, well he is always following people every single time I go in I see him lurking around the corner spying on different people who he probably is assuming is stealing..seriously come on....everyone knows he is not a regular everyday normal customer when he happens to be there every time anyone goes to Walmart or how he never checks out or pays for what he acts like he was shopping for. And I know I am not the only one who sees him creep'n round the corners following little girls or whoever he follows..they should definitely considering placing him in a different department or keep him in the surveillance room and have other people that can maybe do the pretend shopping better than him. Customer service doesn't seem to be great and items are never where they should actually be..that's why I love Target!! Customer service is 10x better than Walmart. Walmart also needs to retrain all employees on customer service protocols, rules and regulations.. read more

Where to start. First, it was the water machine located in the very rear of the store. It was out of service for a very long time with no sign on it nor in the front of the store to tell folks they need not walk their empties all the way to the back, only to have to return empty. After four trips and telling associates they should put up signs, to no avail, I found a cheaper and more reliable water dispenser nearby. Then there was the return of an appliance which failed after six months of service. I called the manufacturer who told me that Walmart had extended the return-to-store policy to one year. Yaa! They gave me a reference number and told me to ask for a manager to call them if CS wouldn't accept the return. CS "foreman" wouldn't call them, wouldn't get a manager out of a meeting to do so. I finally went to another associate at the entrance who was kind enough to call one of them in the meeting to help me. He ran it through without question. I then ordered a different replacement from the online store which was set up for pick up Friday after 6P. I got an email close to 8 saying the shipment had been delayed. I checked Saturday morning and found that it had been delivered to their dock Friday AM! Called Pickup dept three times but they never answered! As they say, "You get what you pay for." read more

Slow slow slow. The purpose of curbside is to skip lines and be "faster" been waiting in the parking spot for 35 mins for them to just bring our 2 things. Worst of all there's employees,at least 4, just outside standing around talking not doing anything instead of completing the orders. The women in electronics are rude(excluding Rebecca). They are not helpful, they ignore you, are short with responses and answers. They don't say thank you or have a nice day, they don't even respond if you say it to them. They have terrible attitudes, walk away and talk to other associates and ignore you waiting at the counter. Don't bother here, go to Target instead. read more

The other day I was in Walmart grocery shopping and I decided to take a glance at the fabric department. There was an employee waiting by the fabric department, putting fabric away. At that moment I didn't need fabric but I did appreciate the fact that there was someone ready to help. I went to Walmart today and again someone ready to help. Next time I need fabric I will check out Walmart and see how fast I was helped, and how polite and respectful there employees are. read more

I would do 0 stars if I could. I have through a 2 month war trying to get my cell phone replaced. I have been using Strait Talk for approx. 6 years. NO problems with Strait Talk, I will do a separate review on them. Having 15 years restaurant mgmt. experience I could feel the poor attitude of the first person I dealt with in Electronics. I wished to keep my original phone number. The guy tosses 2 phones on the counter and told me that I should put the sim card from my old phone in the new one. Never a word about what capacity. He asked if I had been in line. I have a heart problem and had to take a breather after walking from the parking lot to the back of the store, where Electronics was. I later spoke to Strait Talk and they confirmed that the guy at Electronics should call. I thought well, I'll go "upstairs." Never received a call back from the General Manager. Meanwhile.....my phone is getting worse. So...I thought I'd contact the "Marketing Manager" which is their term for District Manager. No call back, no nothing. I called customer service (corporate) 2x and nothing. "Wait, there's more Johnny...." I started calling other Walmart stores in the area including Fresno and they have the same setup, which to me meant the same junk. I called the Walmart Supercenter in Clovis.....and the guy told me to go back to IDAHO,2 states away to solve the problem. As mentioned I will give a positive rating to Straight Talk, as they were not the problem. I told Strait Talk they should open their own stores and pull all their products out of Walmart....everywhere. I am changing cell services...today. read more

If wanting a consistent and reliable grocery order pickup service, this is not the place. Initially we absolutely loved the Walmart app order, schedule, and pickup service. Lately it's become a disaster, completely unreliable and disorganized. The bad part is they just keep you waiting, sending messages and notifications our order has been delayed with no time frame in sight. Where is the option to cancel the order entirely or reschedule to a time the next day? As a customer, being in limbo and waiting around for the staff to figure things out is not the definition of excellent customer service. Also preorders should be expected and ready given they are placed 24+ hours in advance. Extremely disappointed with this service. read more

Typical super Walmart. Nice that it's open 24-hours a day, most days of the year. They do close the major holidays. I've never written a review on this place because well it's a Walmart. Service isn't the greatest (you get what you pay for), their prices are reasonable, they have almost anything you need, and you can't forget the questionable clientele. To avoid this I've made a rule for myself. I will not set foot inside of this store after 10a.m. With no real scientific evidence to back this up, I have determined by experience that most of the questionable shoppers arrive after 10 in the morning. Your also more likely to be harassed by shady characters floating around the parking lot selling over priced candy bars for some questionable organization. My suggestion, after 10 just save yourself the headache of the crowds and hit up target right next door. You'll pay a little more, but avoid the crowds and shady characters which Walmart attracts. read more

This location is always busy but I feel like all walmarts are busy. I live in a small town where everything is over priced so I try to come to walmart for most items we need. Most of the employees I've encountered here are actually really nice- it's the patrons that are the problem. It seems that no one has any control over their kids anymore, and it's sad that McDonald's had to put up a sign stating not to leave your children unattended. It's the most overcrowded, people pushing their carts without looking where they're going, one person buying two carts worth of twinkles and trying to check out in the express lane, nightmare. I avoid this place as much as possible, but it's really not the employees fault. read more

Even with a mandatory mask order for the county, they refuse to ask customers to wear a mask. When I have asked, the random employee simply shrugs their shoulders. I thank them for their time and for working, Shake my head and walk away. Also tired of seeing the personal shoppers going the wrong way down isles, and pulling their own masks below their nose. Grateful I found the last few things we need elsewhere, even if it means online and auto shipments, none of which will ever be from Walmart. Shame on you. read more

Walmart is awesome for the most part because it's Walmart! They have everything. However! If people need to pee - LET THEM GO TO YOUR FREAKING BATHROOM! it wasn't being cleaned yet and I know you have a job to do but seriously, if a lady is begging you to use the restroom, probably just let her go to the bathroom and don't be so rude about it. It's also annoying that they close the makeup area down so early. I get that there are thieves and such, but some people get off work late every day and can't get there in the morning and need to pick some stuff up at night. read more

About a week ago I was at Walmart and I was trying to order food from the Deli and the lady I was dealing with was pretty rude and not very helpful! I got kinda frustrated and stared to walk away. As I was walking away this young man stopped me and asked how he could help me n make sure I received what I was wanting. I was actually pretty impressed. This kid didn't have to do it but he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. The young mans name was Jayven. I wish Walmart had more employees like him!!!! read more

I am extremely grateful for Preston! This is a very scary time with the COVID-19 Pandemic and yet Preston continues to be an efficient, dedicated and wonderful individual. I know that Wal-Marts have a bad name in many areas; however, when you grow up in the southeast, this is a place that you are used to going to. If you live in Coalinga, CA, there aren't a lot of choices so the Wal-Mart in Hanford is a shining beacon (oh lord, did I just say this about a Wal-Mart??) Anyway, it is bright, clean, spacious, and is a super-center so it has a large grocery. The only negative thing is that it is usually very busy, no mater when I go there. Lot of people don't care for Walmart but I do a lot of shopping there. Ignore the rude customers. I find most of the checkers are very friendly if you are. Or do your own checkout and you will be out of there quicker. I don't do a lot of produce shopping there but otherwise, most of the time you can't beat the prices especially with things like cat food, toiletries etc., frozen chicken pieces for my dogs. Keep a sense of humor!! Actually have to add, the material department does leave a lot to be desired....and the help in that dept.???? This Walmart is absolutely the worst place to shop now.. They lock everything up so that you have to press the button to call customer service if you need a particular item but when you press the button no one shows up. After pushing the button multiple times and waiting half an hour an attendant finally showed up, this is absolutely ridiculous Walmart. I understand you are trying to help with loss prevention but then at least make sure your staff is available when the button is pressed within a reasonable time. read more

I have officially stopped going to Walmart in favor of Target and various other grocery stores. It seems to me that every time I go to Walmart I only am able to find half of the things that I am looking for and leave with more than what I wanted. Their staff is severely under-informed when it comes to shipments and arrivals. Customer service is hit or miss at this place and it always takes forever to get checked out which is why I'm glad they have the self checkouts now because I hate dealing with the cashiers who often don't know what they're doing or are rude. So so apparently if you buy clothing from Walmart you cannot return it because of the covet 19. I actually grab the wrong size and try to bring it back the next day. they told me that I couldn't bring it back because of it 19 and their signs posted everywhere as I'm walking through the store not one sign. After they got them shipped in for me I went to customer service and waited over 5 minutes for someone to help assist me. Customer service is bad. All the employees who work here seem overwhelmed or unable to do their jobs. Carts are always a nightmare in the parking lot. The should have 2 people at least working the parking lot at all times. Security is ok but need more. Lines are often ridiculously long at check out. I like Wal-Mart, even though everything is made China. This supercenter has less employees then the first original walmart. The cashier's are far & few in between. I feel sorry for the workers because they are over worked & under paid. One thing ive noticed is that they do clean the shelves & floors a lot. Too bad theres no walmart greeters anymore. Instead you are greeted by a sanitizer wipe container. Good thing too because it really makes my hands feel good pushing the cart. The deli counter is awesome. I love their cooked orange chicken & cooked rotisserie whole chickens. The self-check out is great, & the worker in the area is helpful. Open 24 hours and is located in the San Joaquin Valley near the city of Fresno out in the middle of nowhere...I love coming to this particular Wal Mart especially when i am in town....Majority of the time when i get off the Am Trak my dad is the one to ick us up and i alaways ask him to take me to this 24 hour 7 days a week Wal Mart...because i may have forgotten something or just want to go check out the latest in movies... They have everything i need and at the right prices....i was extremey happy when my right guard body wash was about $2.99 i bought 2 for the 2 weeks i usually stay...It is about a 10 minute drive from the next small town of Lemoore... We also shop for great food we were going to make the next few weeks most especially fruit, orange juice, cantaloupe, honey dew and banana's...I like coming near 10 pm because fewer people and the lines are less...i even manage to buy an itunes card along with my other things.... the ever so low priced store would be a wal mart near you... read more

Customer service over the phone is horrible! I called this store to see if they had a certain board game in stock and was transferred 4 times! Twice to electronics (they didn't pick up the first time so I was transferred back to the original person who then transferred me back to electronics), then to toys (after electronics said they couldn't help me) they never answered so it went back to the original person. Needless to say, I never found what I was looking for at this location. I realize there are people for certain areas of the store but come on now? I've worked retail before and it doesn't hurt to look something up real fast ! Especially when the toys are right across from the electronics ? read more
