Just outside Waco, we stopped here first to fill up at the Walmart Fuel & Convenience closer to the highway. With that errand complete, a quick stop in the Supercenter for snacks. The parking lot is large and clear. Some carts in the cart corrals but not excessive. The store is laid out like others and we had no problem finding the groceries. A case of water, some chips and we were good to go. Of course, Mrs. K. took a look through the ladieswear department on the way out but we avoided any additional purchases. We are traveling back to Missouri after watching our son graduate Airforce BMT. Our tire had a small hole in it. We brought our SUV to this location hoping they could help, considering it was Sunday and nothing is open and we had 10 more hours to drive. Unfortunately due to their rules, they couldn't patch it and didn't have our size tire. They offered ZERO suggestions only excuses. My father, husband and father in law had to purchase a plug kit and fix it next to their building. It was raining and cold. They had the entire facility open and never offered to have us pull it in to protect them from the rain. I have never witnessed such poor character from employees like this. Very disheartening. If you have a LOCAL tire shop, PLEASE SUPPORT THEM AND NOT THIS CORPORATION. read more

This is definitely a good Walmart!!! I enjoy shopping here! :) :) Thank you to the employees & management !!! Employees are friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Deli and bakery are great! Clothing depts are Wonderful !!! I wish the toy dept had a little more. Boys stuff or Nerf stuff seems to be lacking.... ? :/ The store is new and spacious and not run down. My sister and I were on our first solo long road trip, and a 18-wheeler's tire had blown out in front of us and a piece of the tire knocked a piece of her front bumper, causing it to hang down. Luckily, we were right by the Walmart and decided to go in and asked for help at the auto-center. The Service Manager was very helpful and great, and they fixed the front bumper for free! Although the situation wasn't ideal, we were very grateful to be right next to the Walmart and for their generous help! read more

I purchased a power wheels 4x4 for my grandson. I verified the instore warranty ,which I was told by management 90 days. Upon less then 30 days trouble began with the merchandise. Friday nov.3rd I called twice and spoke with Martha who verified, as long as I had original receipt the return for exchange would be honored. Iam 45 minutes away. I arrived that Friday evening only to be refused by Robert Coach to exchange product. He explained how it had dirt on wheels and no extended warranty purchase. He did not care that the 90 days in store warranty was in effect. He gave us the 1800 walmart and refused and sent us on our way. Such a horrible experience from someone who is in a position of representing such a great store. Clearly, doesn't understand his identity of position. I've shared this ignorance by walmart lead people. Definitely, will not by returning to this store because of employees like Robert Coach.! read more

The difference in the associates who work here and the ones at the other place is amazing. The new Walmart people are so friendly and helpful. It's like a whole different world here. The place is clean and has everything. The only thing is the produce. They have awful produce, but I just run across town and get some. I've been to many walmarts in the area and I hate walmarts in general but this one is the BEST. I live like 45 miles from this one and I'll drive to it instead of the one 20 miles from my house because this one is sooo much better. I really like this store because of the cashiers when I can find one and the store is not crowded normally when I go. My biggest complaints is the number of cashiers working because we are being made to use self checkout. I want to use this store but we shouldn't have this as our main checkout. My biggest complaint is the store being stocked during main business hours and the associates pulling to go orders. These people are in the way of shoppers and they expect customers to stay out of their way instead of the reverse. Most don't say excuse me or try to move out of the way or even smile. It used to be the opposite and I really appreciated they were trying to stay out of the way and were very friendly. Please don't stock during the day. That should be an after hours job. While road tripping from Dallas to Austin to celebrate a friends birthday, my boyfriends car displayed a warning of low coolant level and a risk for scalding the engine. Conveniently there was a Walmart supercenter at the next exit. A section of this particular Walmart was an auto center. We strolled in looking for coolant and seeking advice. The woman working, Tay, said that although the auto center only performed oil changes, they would help in anyway they could. Coincidently, Tay knew that her manager, Chris, also had the same problem with his BMW recently. She called Chris and he instructed us on everything we needed. Talk about incredible customer service. I just left the Walmart Automotive shop, I had one of the best experiences and had to share. I was traveling from DFW to Temple and along the way I heard a noise coming from under my hood. When I got out to take I look I noticed the oil pan completely hanging from my car. I located the nearest shop which happened to be Walmart. When I arrived at Walmart I was happily greeted my Deon, who had me in and out in 5 min. Deon was able to reattach my oil pan and explain exactly what happen. I was so excited when this Wal-Mart opened because it was only blocks from my house but as time has gone on and I have made numerous visits to this store I have now realized that this very little Wal-Mart is it's own worst enemy They dont stock alot of products that can be found at the other nearest Wal-Mart on Hewitt Drive.I have found myself having to drive over to the other Wal-Marts just to round up the things that I need.example; I like to buy the small individual Marie Callender Turkey Pot Pies but the only carry a multi pack version of these pot pies ,thus forcing me to buy more than I wanted to.Then there is No Pillsbury Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Mix available at this location,I just dont understand why you would waste your time and money building a store that resembles a big convenience store rather than a big Walmart Supercenter for 1 stop shopping.This is not the store for you if you are looking for 1 stop shopping. Then there is the brick wall that you talk to when picking up your prescriptions. That is the most unfriendly and awful display of good customer service I have ever seen anywhere around this area.Im a human being who likes human interaction face to face.I can talk to the four walls in every room In my house. Why would I want to talk to a wall to pick up my prescription ? Me and my friends were trying to shoot a music video at this Walmart. We were trying to not be disruptive or disrespectful and came around 11:30 at night so there weren't a lot of people there. One of our friends worked at another Walmart and was still wearing his vest and one of the workers (Bob) came up to him and asked him if he worked there. He said no he worked at another Walmart. The worker asked him to take off his vest and our friend did. We didn't want to cause any problems. We just wanted some B-Roll. So after that we were just walking around, shooting some footage, having a good time. And then we notice several workers following us throughout the store and eventually we decided to leave and try and shoot footage at another Walmart. Again. Didn't want to cause problems. And then. As we are leaving the store. Three cop cars pull up and informed us that they had gotten a call about someone "impersonating a Walmart employee" We explained the situation to the cops and they let us leave because we didn't do anything wrong. read more
